Every other room in a modern luxury flat is consistent with itself — the kitchen is hard, the dressing room is hard, the living room is mostly hard. Why this room disagrees with itself

Take the shell first. A modern luxury bedroom is built from the same vocabulary as the rest of the flat: stone or engineered timber underfoot, glass, lacquered or fluted joinery, a mirrored wardrobe run, metal trim, sometimes a stone or microcement feature wall behind the bed.
