Why 15ml first, and 300ml much later
The 15ml bottle at ₹299 works out at roughly ₹20 per millilitre, which is poor value as a supply and excellent value as an argument. That is the whole case for it. You are not buying fragrance at that size, you are buying certainty — the right to run a scent in your own rooms, at your own hours, beside the attar you actually wear, and to conclude that I was wrong without having spent ₹1,799 finding out. At three to six drops per tank a 15ml bottle still runs for weeks, which is longer than most people need to know. The 300ml 300ml refill at ₹1,799 brings the running cost down to about ₹6 per millilitre and the 100ml at ₹999 sits in between at roughly ₹10, but both of those are answers to a question you have not asked yet.
Buy the big bottle when one scent is clearly emptying ahead of the others, and not before. That is the only signal worth acting on, and it usually takes a month or two to appear. Two practical notes while you are testing, because both change the result. Dose at the bottom of the range to begin with — three drops rather than six — since an oud wearer's rooms are already carrying perfume in the textiles, and a scent judged at six drops will read as too much when it might have been exactly right at three. And rinse the tank between bottles, or you will be judging a blend rather than a scent. Keep the machine at waist height or above, away from the wardrobe, and never substitute raw essential or carrier oils, which clog the 2.4MHz misting plate. The 15ml bottle exists because I would rather sell you ₹299 of certainty than ₹1,799 of regret. It is not a sample and it is not a marketing size — at three to six drops a tank it runs for weeks, which is long enough to live with a scent properly and decide that it is not for you. A customer who tests cheaply and buys the big bottle once comes back for years. A customer who commits blind comes back never.
And I would rather an oud wearer heard the awkward sentence from me first. There is no oud in anything I make.
