Do all the diffusers have auto shut-off? Yes. All three - Boond, Sukoon and Megh - shut off automatically when the tank runs dry, so there is no dry-running and no damage if you forget them.
Are they safe to leave running overnight? They are cool-mist with no heating element, so no boiling water and no burn risk, and auto shut-off handles an empty tank. Set the Sukoon's 4-hour timer or let it run on low.
Timer versus auto shut-off
People often use these two words as if they mean the same thing. They do not, and knowing the difference stops you overpaying for a feature you do not need - or under-buying and being disappointed.
A timer is a choice you make: run for 2 hours, then stop. Auto shut-off is a safety response: the tank is empty, so the unit powers down to protect the plate. A timer is about convenience; auto shut-off is about not cooking a dry machine.
Every SOSA diffuser has auto shut-off. The moment the water runs out, the unit stops rather than running the plate dry, which is what shortens a cheap diffuser's life. That is true of the little Boond, the Sukoon and the big Megh alike, so none of them will come to harm if you fall asleep or leave the house.
Only the Sukoon adds a programmable timer. The Boond is meant to run its roughly six hours and switch off when empty; the Megh is built to run for days off its 6-litre tank, controlled by a mist dial rather than a clock. If 'set it for exactly this long' matters to you, the Sukoon is the answer.
A tip from experience: for an all-night bedroom, do not lean on the timer at all - fill the Sukoon and let it run on low, where 500ml lasts 16-18 hours and the auto shut-off catches the empty tank by morning. Use the 2H or 4H timer when you want scent for a yoga session, a nap or guests coming over, then a clean stop.
How the Sukoon's controls work
The Sukoon is the control diffuser in the range, and its features are built to be used from where you are sitting or lying, not from the machine.
Timers: a steady mode for continuous run, plus 2-hour and 4-hour auto-stop settings. Pick a timer and the Sukoon mists, then shuts down on its own at the mark.
Remote: a handset that works from about five metres, so you change the mist, the timer or the LED from bed or across the study - no getting up in the dark.
Protection: auto shut-off when the tank empties, plus overheat protection, and a BPA-free ABS body that is why parents put it in a nursery.
On the subject of ratings: I am not going to bolt fabricated star scores onto this guide. You will see illustrative customer voices below to show the kind of use the Sukoon gets, but the numbers that matter - 500ml, 16-18 hours on low, 270-320 sq ft coverage, steady/2H/4H timers, ~5m remote - are the live specs from the SOSA store. And as with any of our diffusers, run only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance in it; raw oils clog the misting plate.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.
They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.
One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.
