This is the whole thing on one page: what to buy, how many, where each machine goes, what it runs at, when it runs, what it costs to keep running, and the areas the plan deliberately leaves alone. If you only read one guide in this series, read this one.
Quick answers — read this first
What is the complete SOSA Vaayu scenting plan for a car dealership? Three machines, one fragrance, three schedules. One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) on the showroom floor at medium from 45 minutes before opening, one in the customer lounge at the lowest useful setting running continuously, and one in the delivery bay on a one hour run before each handover. Each covers 1000m³. A tall glass floor may need two, and a large hall on central air handling takes a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) instead. Refill every 60 days and scent nothing on the workshop side.
What does it cost to scent a car dealership? Three SOSA Vaayu machines at ₹11,999 each is the usual capital cost, plus fragrance. Each machine holds 400ml lasting up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, so the ongoing cost is one refill round roughly every two months. A large hall on HVAC uses a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) with an 800ml reservoir instead of two or three smaller units.
Which areas does the plan deliberately leave out? The workshop, the wash bay, the paint area, and the service reception while it still smells of oil, rubber and solvent. Those are ventilation problems, and fragrance layered over them produces both smells at once. Fix the extraction and the door, then scent the service waiting lounge where customers sit.
The short answer
Short answer: three machines, one fragrance, three schedules. One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999, 1000m³) on the showroom floor at medium from 45 minutes before opening, one in the lounge at the lowest setting continuously, one in the delivery bay for an hour before each handover, refilled every 60 days. A large HVAC-linked hall takes a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) in place of the floor unit, and the workshop side is excluded entirely.
The pick: three SOSA Vaayu machines (₹11,999 each) as the standard dealership plan, with a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) replacing the floor unit where the main hall is large and on central air handling.
Next step: send the floor plan with ceiling heights and we will return the finished specification, zone by zone - book a free scenting plan.
Everything from the nine guides before this one, compressed into a single specification a dealer principal can sign off: what to buy, where it goes, what it runs at, and what it costs to keep running.
What is the complete scenting plan for an automobile dealership?
Three machines, one fragrance, three schedules, one refill round. Here is the whole specification. The showroom floor takes one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999), rated to 1000m³, wall mounted at 1.8 to 2.2 metres beside an air-conditioning return and away from the doors used to move vehicles. Run it at medium from 45 minutes before opening to closing. Glass frontage and a five or six metre ceiling mean a modest floor area can hold a large volume, so measure length times width times height first: past 1000m³ you need two machines, and a large hall already on central air handling is better served by one SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) at 3,000m³. The customer lounge takes its own Vaayu at the lowest useful setting, running continuously, on the far wall from the refreshment counter, because a small closed room with seated people needs less rather than more. The delivery bay takes the third, on a 1h timer starting 30 minutes before each handover, sited where the customer stands rather than by the shutter. That is the moment customers describe for years, and it is worth scheduling properly. The same fragrance goes in all three tanks, restrained and clean so it survives cold conditioned air all day and sits under the new-car smell that buyers actually value. Running it is one round every two months: each 400ml tank lasts up to about 75 days, so refill at around 60 days, label every machine by zone and keep a one-page record of the settings with the key-lock engaged. And what the plan leaves out: the workshop, wash bay, paint area and any service reception that still smells of oil, rubber and solvent. Those need extraction, a self-closing door and airflow pushed the right way, not fragrance. A free scenting plan will confirm the whole specification from your drawings, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Three Vaayu at 1000m³ each, one fragrance, three schedules, refill at 60 days, workshop excluded. Large HVAC hall swaps the floor unit for an Angaan.
The plan is built on one machine repeated. The SOSA Vaayu covers 1000m³ (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), holds 400ml for up to 75 days, runs 1h/4h/8h/24h app schedules with adjustable intensity, sits under 38dB, mounts three ways and key-locks for a public floor.
The complete plan uses one machine three times, and one larger machine only where the main hall is genuinely too big for that. Both pictures link straight to the product page so the specification can be checked line by line before sign-off.
Rated to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. Wall mounted at 1.8 to 2.2 metres beside an AC return, medium intensity, running from 45 minutes before opening to closing. Waterless, so nothing settles on paint, chrome or glass. Key-lock for a public floor.
The lounge unit runs at the lowest useful setting all day on the far wall from the coffee counter. The delivery bay unit runs a 1h schedule 30 minutes before each handover, sited where the customer will stand. Same fragrance in both.
HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, about 8,000-10,000 sq ft, with an 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules and under 42dB running. Replaces the showroom floor unit where the volume and the ducting justify it.
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 400ml tank lasting up to 75 days, Bluetooth app with 1h/4h/8h/24h timers and adjustable intensity, under 38dB, DC 12V and 5W, 165 x 80.5 x 215mm at 0.9kg, freestanding or wall and HVAC mount, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.
The plan has three parts: what you buy and where it goes, what each machine runs at, and what it takes to keep it running once the installer has left.

The specification
Three machines, sized in cubic metres, placed on the air path
Measure each zone as length times width times height. Showroom floor: one Vaayu at 1000m³, two if the glass and the ceiling push the volume past that, wall mounted at 1.8 to 2.2 metres beside an AC return and away from the vehicle doors. Customer lounge: one Vaayu, far wall from the refreshment counter. Delivery bay: one Vaayu near where the customer stands, not by the shutter. If the main hall is large and already ducted, swap the floor unit for one Angaan on the air handling at 3,000m³ and keep the other two as they are.
Tip: three machines is the normal dealership answer. Four usually means one volume should have been an Angaan.
The Vaayu at 1000m³ is the unit the plan repeats, mounting freestanding, on a wall or onto HVAC.
Same profile in every tank, always. Showroom floor at medium, on an 8h or 24h app schedule starting 45 minutes before opening. Lounge at the lowest useful setting, running continuously through opening hours, because a small closed room with seated customers is the easiest place on the site to over-scent. Delivery bay between the two, on a 1h run starting 30 minutes before each handover appointment. Then leave them alone: tune in the first week, record the settings, engage the key-lock and stop adjusting.
On a large ducted hall the Angaan takes the same profile and the same schedule logic at 3,000m³.
One refill round every two months, and two areas left alone
Each 400ml tank runs up to about 75 days depending on intensity and hours, and the last week of any fill is the weakest, so book the refill round at around 60 days and do all the machines together. Label each unit by zone, keep a one-page record of intensity and schedule, and top up rather than run dry. The plan also has permanent exclusions: the workshop, the wash bay, the paint area and any service reception that still smells of solvent. Those get extraction and a properly sealed door, and then the service waiting lounge gets a machine like any other customer room.
Tip: refill at 60 days, not at 75. That single habit is most of what consistency means here.
The Vaayu holds 400ml for up to 75 days and key-locks, so the round is short and the settings survive it.
A complete dealership plan is three machines and one habit. The machines are the easy part; the habit is refilling them on a date instead of when somebody notices.
And the plan is judged by what it leaves out as much as by what it covers.
The one swap in the plan: SOSA Angaan replaces the showroom unit on a large ducted hall, scenting up to 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - from an 800ml reservoir, ₹25,999.
The finished specification in one table, zone by zone, with the swap that applies to large ducted halls.

If you want the reasoning behind any single line of this plan, it is set out in the guides this page summarises: the zone-by-zone planning guide explains how the count is built and why the workshop is excluded, and the placement guide explains why the mounting height and the distance from the vehicle doors matter more in a showroom than in any other retail space. Everything else on this page is the conclusion of those two.
The machine the plan repeats: SOSA Vaayu, 1000m³ coverage, 400ml lasting up to 75 days, app schedules, adjustable intensity, key-lock, ₹11,999.
The finished plan, confirmed against your drawings
SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 covers up to 1000m³ per zone. Send the floor plan with ceiling heights and we will return the complete specification before you spend anything.
The plan is one machine repeated three times, with a single swap available for large ducted halls. The Vaayu covers each zone at 1000m³; the Angaan replaces the showroom unit at 3,000m³ where the volume and the air handling justify it. Both are waterless, so there is no damp and no residue on paintwork, chrome, leather or glass, and both are made in India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A quick word before sign-off: check that the plan is sized in cubic metres, that every tank carries the same fragrance, and that a refill date sits in somebody's calendar. Those three things account for nearly every difference between a dealership that smells considered and one that does not. And the honest note - fragrance works alongside ventilation and cleaning, never instead of it. It cannot cover solvent, tyre or exhaust smell on the workshop side, and it cannot cover fresh paint or adhesive in a new fit-out. Extraction first, then scent the customer-facing rooms. Confirm it all on a free scenting plan.

A note from Sonal
If a dealer principal gave me ten minutes and asked for the whole answer, this is what I would say. Three machines. One fragrance. Three schedules. A refill date every two months. And leave the workshop alone. That is the entire plan, and I have not yet found a dealership where it needed to be more complicated than that.
In detail: a Vaayu on the showroom floor at 1000m³, mounted at head height beside an air-conditioning return, running at medium from 45 minutes before opening. A second in the lounge at the lowest useful setting, because small closed rooms with seated people need less. A third in the delivery bay on a 1h timer before each handover, because that twenty minutes is the part customers describe for years. If the main hall is large and already ducted, an Angaan at 3,000m³ replaces the floor unit and the rest stays the same.
And the honest close, which matters more than any of the settings. Fragrance cannot cover solvent, tyre or exhaust smell. A workshop, a wash bay or a service reception with a problem needs extraction, a self-closing door and air pushed the right way, and a machine installed there only gives you two smells instead of one. It cannot cover fresh paint or adhesive in a new fit-out either. Scent works alongside ventilation and cleaning, never instead of them, and I make no claim that it sells cars. It makes a building that has been done properly feel like it was done properly. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
What is the complete scenting plan for a car dealership?
Three machines, one fragrance, three schedules. One SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999) on the showroom floor at medium from 45 minutes before opening, one in the customer lounge at the lowest useful setting running continuously, and one in the delivery bay on a one hour run before each handover. Each covers 1000 cubic metres. Refill all three at around 60 days, and leave the workshop side out of the plan.
When does the plan use an Angaan instead of a Vaayu?
When the main showroom hall is large and already on central air handling. One SOSA Angaan (Rs 25,999) covers 3,000 cubic metres, roughly 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, from an 800ml reservoir and distributes on airflow the building already runs, which is more even than two or three wall units in the same volume. The lounge and delivery bay machines stay as they are.
What does it cost to run once it is installed?
One refill round every two months. Each 400ml tank runs up to about 75 days depending on intensity and hours, so a three machine site is a short round with three tanks. The machines themselves draw 5W each on DC 12V, so the electrical running cost is negligible.
How long does it take before the plan is working properly?
Installation is an afternoon and tuning takes about a week. Start every machine at a low intensity, walk in from the car park each morning with a fresh nose, and adjust one step at a time. Most dealerships end up one or two steps lower than their first setting, with the fragrance sitting under the new-car smell rather than over it.
Why does the plan exclude the workshop and service bays?
Because fragrance cannot cover engine oil, rubber, brake cleaner or exhaust, and adding a machine there produces both smells at once. Those areas need extraction, air movement and a properly sealed self-closing door to the customer side. Once that is right, the service waiting lounge is scented like any other customer room.
The finished plan: Three SOSA Vaayu, one fragrance, three schedules, one refill round every two months. ₹11,999 each.
