British rose over jasmine sambac with a soft musk drydown, at 8.9 a medium floral rather than a loud one. I do not recommend it as a blind buy, because anti-floral is a common and firmly held position and the risk is real — which is exactly why it belongs on a page about spouses, who are the only buyers with the evidence to settle it. The jasmine is a night-bloomer and the composition genuinely shifts after dark.
