What one machine in a 2BHK really feels like
I want to describe it accurately, because plenty of people start here and it is not a bad place to start. You come home, open the door, and the living/dining smells like something you chose — the room reaches a comfortable level within about twenty minutes and holds it all evening. Guests notice it immediately, which is the four seconds most people are buying. Then at eleven you walk down the corridor, close the bedroom door behind you, and the effect ends as abruptly as if you had walked out of the flat. I answer this question several times a week and I have stopped softening it. In a studio I tell people to buy one machine and spend the rest on bottles. In a 1BHK I tell them the second machine is the honest answer. In a 2BHK, one machine is not a modest setup — it is a partial one, and the part it leaves out is both bedrooms.
What I try to add, because it matters, is that the single machine is not wasted. It is the first of two or three, it goes in the living/dining, and it stays there when the others arrive. Nothing you buy first becomes redundant in this range — the fragrances move between tanks, the price of the next machine does not change, and a 300ml refill bought today will still be serving three tanks next year. So buy one if one is what this month allows. Just do not tell yourself it covers the flat, because you will notice at eleven that it does not.
