A Delhi NCR appliance showroom spends its year inside a sealed box. In summer the box is sealed against dry heat and the dust that comes with it; on the winter days when the outside air is not something you want indoors, it is sealed against that instead, and the AC or the heating runs the same air round and round. A scent machine adds a fragrance to that air and takes nothing out of it, which is why in Delhi the filters come first and the machine comes last.
Quick answers — read this first
What commercial scent machine suits a large appliance showroom in Delhi NCR? For a connected sales floor of roughly 1,500-3,000 sq ft, one SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999): a waterless cold-air nebuliser with a 1h/4h/8h/24h timer, adjustable intensity and a key-lock, wall or HVAC-mounted on the AC supply path. For the large Gurugram and Noida experience centres past about 3,000 sq ft of one connected air, one SOSA Angaan (Rs 25,999), HVAC-connected. Under about 750 sq ft, a Mountain Breeze reed (Rs 849) at the desk and no machine.

What does Delhi's air change about the plan? The order of work, and the level. A Delhi floor is a sealed box: dust arrives on every visitor and every open door in summer, and on winter days when the windows stay shut the plant recirculates the same air for hours. Fragrance takes nothing out of that air, so the AC filters, the vents on display units, the tops of the appliances and a fresh-air routine on the mornings that allow one come first. The machine is switched on only once the floor smells of nothing, and dry heat makes the same setting read stronger, so the summer level sits a step down.

Is any of this a claim about the air? No. SOSA makes no claim that fragrance does anything to dust, smoke or the air in a Delhi showroom, and a display air purifier on demo will strip the scent from its own zone, which is correct. Fragrance is an interiors decision, like lighting or music: no claim that it changes footfall, dwell time or sales, no claim about what it does to any appliance on display, and nothing here is a promise about visits, timing or service in Delhi NCR - confirm those with SOSA.
The short answer
Short answer: filters first, fragrance last. A Delhi NCR showroom is a sealed AC box full of summer dust or recirculated winter air, and a scent machine adds a fragrance without taking anything out. Clean the filters, vents and appliance tops, run fresh air on the mornings that allow it, then one waterless machine on the AC supply path at a summer setting one step down. Demo kitchen and coffee counter unscented.
The pick: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) for a connected floor of roughly 1,500-3,000 sq ft; one SOSA Angaan (₹25,999), HVAC-connected, for the large Gurugram and Noida centres past about 3,000 sq ft of one air; a Mountain Breeze reed (₹849) at the desk and no machine below about 750 sq ft.
Next step: send a floor plan with the AC supply and returns, any fresh-air intake, the display air purifier and AC demo units, and the demo kitchen marked - ask for a showroom scenting plan. Anything beyond the product - visits, timing, service in Delhi NCR - is confirmed with SOSA directly.

Straight answer
What commercial scent machine suits a large appliance showroom in Delhi NCR?
One SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 for a connected sales floor of roughly 1,500-3,000 sq ft, and one SOSA Angaan at ₹25,999 for the large experience centres in Gurugram, Noida and along the outer roads, where a single connected floor runs past 3,000 sq ft and up to about 8,000-10,000. Both are waterless. Both sit on the AC supply path, because a Delhi showroom is a sealed box for its whole trading year and the plant is the only thing that moves the air. That is the machine answer, and it is the least important paragraph on this page, because in Delhi the machine is the last item on a list and the list is what matters. Start with what is in the air before you add anything to it. In summer the box is sealed against dry heat, and dust arrives on every visitor, every open door and every consignment; it settles on the tops of the appliances, on the vents of the display units, inside the AC filters, and on the cardboard in the back store. On the winter days when nobody wants the outside air indoors, the windows stay shut and the plant runs the same air round and round for hours; whatever was in it at opening is still in it at closing, only warmer. A scent machine adds a fragrance and takes nothing out. I will say that as plainly as I can because Delhi is the city where I am most often asked the opposite. Fragrance is not a mask for dust and it does nothing to smoke; a floor that smells of either has a cleaning and filtration job, and a fragrance laid over it makes a third smell that is worse than the first two. So the order is fixed: AC filters checked and changed on the plant's own schedule, the vents and tops of every display unit cleaned, cardboard out of the building, and a fresh-air routine on the mornings when the outside air allows one - an hour with the plant on fresh intake before the doors open. The machine is switched on only once the floor smells of nothing, and if that takes a week, it takes a week. Why does my large appliance store smell dusty even after cleaning gives the cleaning order; why does my showroom smell stale in the morning gives the recirculation problem its own page. Then the level. Dry heat makes the same setting read stronger - a Delhi floor in June at the number found in February will smell of too much by mid-afternoon - so the summer setting sits one step down, found at the far point at five with the advisor who has stood there since ten as the judge, and the key-lock keeps it there. Winter on recirculation is the opposite trap: the scent has nowhere to go and builds through the day, so the same step down applies for a different reason, and the timer runs shorter hours. Then the merchandise, which in Delhi moves air more than anywhere: an AC experience wall on demo and a display air purifier on its plinth both pull or push air, and each will strip the fragrance out of its own zone. That is correct. Do not compensate; place the source where the demo units are not blowing and let their zones smell of nothing - the AC experience centre page is built on exactly this. The live kitchen and coffee counter stay unscented while a demonstration runs. And the honesty: fragrance here is an interiors decision, like lighting or music. SOSA makes no claim that it changes footfall, dwell time, conversion or sales, no claim about what it does to any appliance or finish on display, no claim that it does anything to the air, and nothing on this page is a promise about visits, timing or service in Delhi NCR - those are confirmed with SOSA. Does India's climate change how a large appliance showroom should be scented is the pillar this page belongs to. Ask for a showroom scenting plan and I will write the filter routine at the top of it.
Delhi NCR: filters, vents, appliance tops and a fresh-air routine first - a scent machine takes nothing out of the air. Then one waterless SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999) on the AC supply path at a summer setting one step down; one SOSA Angaan (Rs 25,999) for the big Gurugram and Noida centres past 3,000 sq ft. Demo units strip their own zones; accept it.
For a large Delhi NCR centre past about 3,000 sq ft of one connected air, one SOSA Angaan - HVAC nebuliser, 3,000m³, programmable schedules - at ₹25,999; for 1,500-3,000 sq ft, one Vaayu at ₹11,999. Both switched on only after the filters.

What a sealed Delhi NCR floor runs on

Two honest answers by connected floor area, both waterless, both switched on last. The images link to the product pages so every figure can be checked directly.

SOSA Angaan
For the large Gurugram and Noida centres past ~3,000 sq ft
SOSA Angaan
HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft of one connected air - on one unit, Rs 25,999. Metal body, 800ml reservoir, programmable schedules so the winter run window can be shorter than the summer one, under 42dB. Connected to a supply duct that serves the sales floor alone, or wall-mounted standalone. One Angaan instead of two or three Vaayus in the same sealed air.
From ₹25,999
SOSA Vaayu
From about 1,500 sq ft of connected sales floor
SOSA Vaayu
Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³ - about 2,000-3,000 sq ft - on one unit, Rs 11,999. No water, no residue on steel, glass or screens; 1h/4h/8h/24h timer so winter hours can run shorter; adjustable intensity so the summer step-down is one press; key-lock so it stays there; under 38dB; wall or HVAC mount so it sits on the supply path and not by the door.
From ₹11,999
SOSA Angaan
One machine for a large sealed centre
SOSA Angaan HVAC Nebulising Diffuser
3,000m³ coverage (about 8,000-10,000 sq ft of one connected air) on a single unit, Rs 25,999. Metal body, 800ml reservoir, programmable schedules, under 42dB. HVAC-connected on a duct serving the sales floor alone, or standalone wall-mount. Waterless - no moisture, no residue. Made in India.

The five Delhi conditions that decide the order of work

Five facts about a Delhi NCR showroom, in the order they should be handled. The first two are about what is already in the air; the machine does not appear until the fourth.

1
Summer dust
It arrives on every visitor and settles on every top - cleaned, never scented over
From the first hot weeks until the rain, a Delhi floor collects dust the way a Mumbai floor collects damp. It comes in with every visitor and every open door, on every consignment from the back store, and it settles where the eye does not go - the tops of tall refrigerators, the vents of display units, the grilles of the AC supply, the filters inside the plant. Dust has a smell, dry and faintly warm, and it is one of the smells that makes a premium floor read as an electronics store. Fragrance is not a mask for it. A dry register laid over a dusty floor reads as dusty cedar, which is worse than either. So the summer routine is cleaning in a fixed order - filters on the plant's own schedule, supply grilles, the vents and tops of every display unit, the entrance mat, cardboard out of the building - and the machine goes on only once the floor smells of nothing. Why does my premium appliance showroom still smell like an electronics store names the whole list, and ventilation vs fragrance in a new showroom gives the order for a floor that has just opened.
Test: run a finger along the top of the tallest display unit on the floor. If it comes back grey, that is the week's job, and it is not a fragrance job.
2
Winter recirculation
Windows shut, the same air round and round - the fragrance builds instead of leaving
On the winter days when the outside air is not something anyone wants indoors, a Delhi showroom does the sensible thing and keeps the windows shut. The plant then runs the same air round and round for the whole trading day, and two things happen to a fragrance in it. First, it has nowhere to go: a setting that was found in a month when the fresh-air intake was open now builds through the day, and the advisor who could not name it at eleven can name it by four. Second, it is being laid over whatever else the recirculated air is carrying - the smell of warm electronics, of the plant itself, of a floor that has not breathed since morning. Neither of those is a fragrance problem and neither is solved by fragrance. The honest winter plan is a shorter timer window, the same step down as summer for a different reason, and a fresh-air hour on whichever mornings allow one. And I will say it once more because Delhi is where it matters: SOSA makes no claim that fragrance does anything to the air in a sealed winter showroom. It adds a scent. Filters are the plant's job.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu runs on a 1h/4h/8h/24h timer, so the winter window can be shorter than the summer one, and locks at the level you found.
See SOSA Vaayu →
3
Dry heat
The same setting reads stronger in June - the summer number is one step down
Dry heat does something to a fragrance that owners read as the opposite of what is happening. The air seems to take the scent away faster - it does, at the surface - and the instinct is to turn up. But warm air also lifts a fragrance and spreads it through the whole volume of a sealed box, and by mid-afternoon the far end of the floor is carrying more than it did in February at the same number. Hard surfaces make this stricter - steel, glass, lacquer and stone bounce a fragrance around with almost no fabric to absorb it, and a Delhi floor in summer has all its fabric put away. So the summer setting is found at the far point at five in the afternoon, on a hot day, with the advisor who has stood there since ten as the judge, and it will be a step below the cool-weather number. Then the key-lock goes on. How strong should fragrance be inside a premium appliance experience centre is the level page for every city, and Ahmedabad is where the same dry-heat argument is taken further, with sun through the glass added to it.
Rule: the cool-weather number is the baseline; the June number is that number minus one. Never plus one, however fast it seems to vanish at the door.
4
The plant
One machine on the supply path - a Vaayu for the floor, an Angaan for the big centre
A sealed Delhi showroom has one distribution system and it is the AC. The supply carries a scent across the floor; the return removes it. So the source sits high on the wall the supply crosses, away from the returns, deep inside and off the door - or, if the plant serves the sales floor alone and whoever maintains it agrees, on the supply duct itself. For a connected floor of roughly 1,500-3,000 sq ft that is one Vaayu. For the large-format centres that Delhi NCR builds more of than any other region - a single connected floor in Gurugram or Noida running past 3,000 sq ft and up to about 8,000-10,000 - it is one Angaan at ₹25,999, HVAC-connected, rather than two or three Vaayus competing in the same air. Two machines belong to two volumes: two floors, or two separately air-handled wings. Where to place the scent machine with central AC is the placement page; how to scent a 10,000 sq ft experience centre is the one for the biggest floors. If the plant also serves the demo kitchen, the duct is not an option, because the kitchen must stay unscented.
SOSA Angaan
For one connected Delhi NCR floor past about 3,000 sq ft, one Angaan - HVAC nebuliser, 3,000m³, programmable schedules - on the sales-floor duct.
See SOSA Angaan →
5
The merchandise that moves air
AC walls and display air purifiers on demo strip their own zones - correct, do not fight it
Delhi NCR showrooms put more running air-movers on display than any other region's: a wall of display air-conditioners on demo, and in the winter months a plinth of display air purifiers running for visitors to see. Each of them pulls or pushes air, and each will take the fragrance out of its own zone within minutes. That is the demonstration working, not the machine failing, and the fix is placement rather than a higher setting: put the source where the demo units are not blowing, accept that the zone in front of a running AC wall smells of nothing, and let the visitor meet the register at the first display on the other side of the floor. Best fragrance for a premium air-conditioner experience centre and why fragrance is strong in one zone and weak in another cover the diagnosis. Through all of it, one thing about the merchandise: SOSA makes no claim about what fragrance does to any appliance, filter or finish; the only product fact is that a waterless machine adds no moisture and leaves no residue. And the machine is never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or extraction - in Delhi least of all.
Rule: the demo kitchen and coffee counter stay unscented in every season - by placement and the timer, never by a lower setting inside them.
The SOSA principle
A Delhi showroom is scented in a fixed order - filters, vents, tops, fresh air, then one machine on the supply path - and the machine never moves up that list.
Dust in summer, recirculation in winter, a step down in both. The fragrance is the last layer, and it takes nothing out of the air.

The city pages that share Delhi's problems: Ahmedabad is dry heat with sun through the glass, Jaipur is desert air on stone, and Mumbai is the opposite - a floor with too much water rather than too little. Whichever city, the register is the same dry one, and what should a premium home-appliance showroom smell like is where it is set out. SOSA makes no claim that any of this affects footfall, dwell time, conversion or sales.

A note from Sonal

Delhi is the city where I am asked, more than anywhere, whether a fragrance can do something about the air. It cannot, and I would rather lose the conversation than pretend otherwise. A scent machine adds one thing to a sealed room and takes nothing out of it. What the summer puts on the tops of the appliances and inside the filters, and what the winter leaves going round and round on the days the windows stay shut, are the plant's job and the cleaner's job. When those two have done their work and the floor smells of nothing, the machine goes on - and not one day before.

The second thing I say to Delhi owners is about the dial. Dry heat seems to take the scent away and the hand reaches for the app; recirculation makes it build and the hand should reach the other way. In both seasons the honest number is one step below the one found in the short cool weeks, judged at the far point at five in the afternoon by the advisor who has stood there since ten. The Vaayu locks at that number and runs a shorter window in winter on its timer; on the big Gurugram and Noida floors the Angaan does the same on a programmable schedule, one machine for one connected air.

And the merchandise. Delhi floors run more display ACs and air purifiers on demo than any other region's, and every one of them strips the fragrance from its own zone. Let it. That is the demonstration, and the zone in front of it should smell of nothing. The demo kitchen and coffee counter stay unscented for the same reason. The machine is never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or extraction, and there is no claim that fragrance moves footfall, dwell time or sales, and no claim about what it does to anything on display or to the air - it is an interiors decision, like lighting or music. Under about 750 sq ft a Mountain Breeze reed at the desk is the honest answer. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

On a Delhi winter day when the windows stay shut, what comes before switching on the showroom fragrance?
The plant and the fresh-air routine. With the windows shut the AC or heating recirculates the same air all day, so the filters are checked on the plant's own schedule, the supply grilles and the vents and tops of the display units are cleaned, and on any morning the outside air allows it the plant runs an hour on fresh intake before opening. The machine goes on only once the floor smells of nothing, on a shorter timer window and a step down, because on recirculation the scent builds instead of leaving.
Does a scent machine take dust or smoke out of a Delhi NCR showroom's air?
No, and SOSA does not claim it does. A scent machine adds a fragrance and takes nothing out. Dust and smoke in a Delhi showroom are a cleaning and filtration job - AC filters, the vents of display units, the tops of the appliances, the entrance mat, cardboard out of the building - and a fragrance laid over either makes a third smell that is worse. The machine is never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or extraction; it is the last layer once those have done their work.
Which SOSA machine fits a large Gurugram or Noida experience centre on one connected floor?
One SOSA Angaan at Rs 25,999: an HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft of one connected air, with an 800ml reservoir and programmable schedules so the winter window can differ from the summer one. It connects to a supply duct serving the sales floor alone, confirmed by whoever maintains the plant, or wall-mounts standalone. One Angaan rather than two or three Vaayus in the same sealed air. For 1,500-3,000 sq ft, one Vaayu at Rs 11,999 instead.
Should a Delhi showroom raise the fragrance setting in summer when the AC runs all day?
No - it comes down a step. Dry heat seems to take the scent away at the door, but warm air also lifts and spreads it through the whole sealed volume, and by mid-afternoon the far end of the floor is carrying more than it did in the cool weeks at the same number. Find the summer setting at the far point at five in the afternoon on a hot day, with the advisor who has stood there since ten as the judge, then put the key-lock on. Hard surfaces make an appliance floor stricter still.
Where does a display air purifier on demo leave the fragrance in a Delhi showroom?
It strips the fragrance from its own zone within minutes, and that is correct - it is the demonstration working. The same is true of a wall of display air-conditioners running for visitors. Place the source where the demo units are not blowing, accept that the zone in front of them smells of nothing, and let the visitor meet the register at the first display elsewhere on the floor. Never turn up to compensate. SOSA makes no claim about what fragrance does to any appliance, filter or finish.

Ambient fragrance in a showroom is an interior and hospitality decision: SOSA makes no claim that it changes dwell time, footfall, conversion, basket size, sales or any other business number, no claim about what it does to any appliance, surface or finish on display, and it is never a substitute for ventilation, cleaning or extraction. Warranty, installation, service and bulk terms are confirmed with SOSA directly. The hotel-inspired scents are SOSA's own original interpretations; SOSA is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any hotel or appliance brand named for reference. Coverage, fragrance usage and running cost depend on the space, settings and hours of use, and are confirmed on a consultation.
