The architecture, drawn in words
Picture the system you already build. At the top there is a controller. Below it there is a bus, and on that bus there are addressed devices: dimmers, drive units, thermostats, valve actuators, keypads. A scene is a stored set of target states, and when it is called the controller writes those states to those addresses. Feedback comes back up the same path, which is why a keypad LED can tell a client the curtains are closed even when the client is in another room. Everything in that description depends on one thing: a single owner of state.
Now add fragrance to the drawing, and put it in the correct place. Vaayu is not a leaf on that tree. It is a client discovering, six months after handover, that they were allowed to believe it would be.

The advantage is that nobody can change it remotely either, and that the key-lock holds the setting against staff, housekeepers and clients who decide the fragrance would be better at maximum. On a residence, decide at handover who holds the app and who holds the key-lock, and write it down. On a showroom, the answer should almost always be the manager and nobody else.
Why scent has stayed outside the stack, and why that is not a defect
It is worth saying plainly why there is no fragrance object in your product library. Three reasons, none of them about ambition. There is no standard. Lighting, blinds and climate converged on shared control models because thousands of manufacturers needed to interoperate; scenting is a small category with no equivalent pressure, so every machine holds its own logic. There is a consumable. A luminaire does not run out. And the useful control surface is smaller than it looks — hours, days and intensity is very nearly the whole of it, because the one thing you must not do is vary fragrance dynamically and constantly. A scent that changes is a scent people notice as a mechanism rather than as an atmosphere.
That last point deserves more weight than it usually gets. In lighting we prize responsiveness; a room that adjusts to occupancy and daylight feels intelligent. Fragrance behaves in the opposite direction. The luxury signal in scent is constancy at a low level, not variation at a high one. A client who can detect the machine switching states is a client who has been over-dosed, and the fix is always downward. So the absence of triggers, sensors and dynamic control is, for this particular subsystem, a considerably smaller loss than it would be anywhere else on your drawing. The one place I would genuinely like more control is diagnostics — a way for a facilities manager to see remaining oil across six units in a large villa without walking to each one. What you can actually put on a drawing
Here is the part that earns the specification, because it is all verifiable and all of it belongs in a coordinated set. Coverage is stated in volume, not floor area: up to 1000 m³ per unit, which at an ordinary ceiling height works out at roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. Reason in volume, always, and particularly on the projects this cluster is written for. A double-height living room or a stairwell open to a landing consumes coverage that a square-foot figure conceals, and a house full of closed bedroom doors is not one zone of 3,000 sq ft — it is a set of small separate volumes, because a closed door is a boundary and an open plan is one volume. I am not going to give you a machines-per-square-foot rule, because there is not an honest one. Establish the connected volume with the doors in their normal position, note the ceiling heights, look at where the air actually moves, and the number will present itself.
On the electrical layout, show DC 12V / 1A, 5W at the intended mounting position. Five watts is a rounding error against the rest of the project and that is precisely why it gets missed: nobody coordinates a load they can ignore, and then the wall-mounted unit at 1.8 metres has no supply behind it. On the mechanical layout, if you are taking the HVAC-return option, coordinate the position with whoever owns the ductwork exactly as you would for any in-duct component, and note access for refilling — a 400ml tank filled about four times a year still has to be reachable by somebody standing on the floor or on a step, not on a ladder in a plant space.
