On a bookshelf or console between the entryway and bedroom — somewhere with passive airflow but not directly under the AC vent. Direct AC airflow over-evaporates the oil and burns through 50ml in 3 weeks instead of 8. Avoid placing on the floor (poor diffusion) or directly next to electronics (the oil can pool and stain).
