And a fragrance he wears is a comment on how he smells rather than on where he lives, which early on is a heavier thing to say.
Why territory matters more than taste at this budget
Under ₹500 you cannot buy a gift large enough to survive being in the wrong place, so placement does the work that money would otherwise do. The line at ₹749, and the only honest reason to cross it
I have said twice that the reed line starts at ₹749, so here is the reason rather than the repetition. A 50ml reed is composed oil on a heat-stable CCT carrier — a coconut-derived triglyceride rather than the DPG most diffusers use, because DPG cracks above about 40°C and that is the mechanism behind a diffuser turning sour in an Indian summer. Add a refillable glass bottle and six fibre reeds rather than rattan, and ₹749 is where the arithmetic lands. The shortcut that would make it cheaper is the carrier, and the carrier is the part that decides whether it is still pleasant in June.
So the reed sits on this page as information, not as a recommendation. If ₹500 is what you have, buy the car perfume or the ₹449 candle without apologising for either — both are complete, both are good.
