Use hotel-inspired fragrances where you most want that hushed, expensive calm - the entryway, the living room and the bedroom are the classic three, each with a scent matched to it. Warm Welcome greets people at the door, White Tea Serenity settles the bedroom, and a soft Quiet Luxury holds the living room. These are inspired interpretations, not the hotels' actual scents, and SOSA is not affiliated with the hotels named. I am Sonal Sahani, an ISIPCA-trained perfumer, and here is how I place them.
Quick answers — read this first
Where to use them? Entryway, living room and bedroom - the spaces where a lobby-like calm matters most.

How to match? Warm, gracious scents at the door; soft, expensive ones in the living room; clean tea scents in the bedroom.

Are these hotel scents? No - they are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations. SOSA is not affiliated with the hotels; the names describe the style only.
The short answer
Entryway: Warm Welcome (Four Seasons-inspired) - citrus, floral, sandalwood.
Living room: Quiet Luxury (Ritz-Carlton-inspired) - white tea, bergamot, cedar.
Bedroom: White Tea Serenity (Westin-inspired) - white tea, aloe, cedar.
Honest note: inspired interpretations, not affiliated with the hotels named.
Why water-based fragrance, not raw oils (illustrative)SOSA water-based fragrance — mists cleanly, made for the plateRaw essential / carrier oils — thick, can clog & damage the unit
Illustrative only. Ultrasonic diffusers atomise water; a few drops of SOSA's water-based fragrance ride the mist. Thick raw oils sit on the plate and clog it.
Straight answer
Where should I use hotel fragrances?
Use them where you want a home to feel like a good hotel - and that is usually three rooms. The entryway, so the first breath through the door is gracious and warm. The living room, where guests gather and a soft, expensive-feeling scent sets the tone. And the bedroom, where a clean, spa-like fragrance helps you unwind. Match the scent to the room: something warm and welcoming at the door, something soft and refined in the living room, something clean and calm where you sleep. And to be clear, these are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations of each hotel's signature style - not the hotels' actual proprietary scents, and SOSA is not affiliated with the hotels named.
One line: entryway, living room, bedroom - match warm to the door, soft to the lounge, clean to the bedroom.

The lobby feel, room by room

Walk into a well-run hotel and the scent reaches you before the front desk does. It is deliberate: a signature fragrance in the lobby, something clean in the rooms, a warmer note in the bar. You can build the same layered feeling at home, and the trick is matching each scent to what the room is for.

Hotel-inspired fragrance: SOSA's own interpretation of the scent style a famous hotel is known for, made water-based for an ultrasonic diffuser. It captures the mood - hushed, clean, expensive - without claiming to be the hotel's actual proprietary scent.
Room Scent The feeling
Entryway Warm Welcome (Four Seasons-inspired) Gracious, warm - citrus, floral, sandalwood
Living room Quiet Luxury (Ritz-Carlton-inspired) Soft, refined - white tea, bergamot, cedar
Bedroom White Tea Serenity (Westin-inspired) Spa-clean, calming - white tea, aloe, cedar
Entertaining Lobby Bar (W Hotels-inspired) Bold, sociable - citrus, pepper, amber

The entryway is where a hotel makes its first impression, so a warm, gracious scent there greets everyone who arrives - and greets you each time you come home. The living room wants something softer and more refined that sits under conversation without shouting. The bedroom asks for clean and calming, the note you want as you wind down. And when you are entertaining, a bolder, brighter scent adds a little social buzz.

You do not need a different scent in every room. Two or three, thoughtfully placed - warm at the door, soft in the lounge, clean in the bedroom - reads as far more considered than one strong fragrance running everywhere.

Inspired, not affiliated

I want to be plain about what these are, because honesty is the whole point of the brand. Each scent is my own interpretation of the style a hotel is known for - a perfumer's take on that hushed, expensive calm. They are not the hotels' actual proprietary fragrances, and SOSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the hotels named. The hotel names are trademarks of their owners, and I use them only to describe the scent style so you know what mood you are choosing.

Myth: "A hotel-inspired scent means it is the exact hotel fragrance." It does not, and I would never claim it does. It is an honest interpretation of the style, composed in our own lab, at an honest price.

Match the scent to the room and a home starts to feel like a hotel you never want to check out of.

Use them all in a SOSA ultrasonic diffuser - a few drops of the water-based fragrance in the tank. Never neat oils, which can clog the plate. Placement does the rest: central, raised, with a little airflow to carry the calm.

The SOSA range

SOSA makes three cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers for different rooms, each arriving with three of our water-based Hotel Collection fragrances so you can scent from day one. Prices and headline specs below are live from the SOSA store. Whichever you choose, use only the SOSA water-based fragrance - raw essential or carrier oils can clog the misting plate.

A note from Sonal

I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.

They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.

One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.

Frequently asked questions

Where in the home should I use hotel-inspired fragrances?

No. They are SOSA's own hotel-inspired interpretations of each hotel's signature style. SOSA is not affiliated with or endorsed by the hotels named; their names are trademarks used only to describe the scent style.
Do I need a different fragrance in every room?
No. Two or three thoughtfully placed scents - warm at the door, soft in the lounge, clean in the bedroom - feel more considered than one strong fragrance running everywhere.
