Most answers to this question ignore the question. Somebody who does not need anything is usually saying something quite specific - that the house is full, that objects accumulate, that another thing to find a place for is a small burden rather than a pleasure. Taken literally, that rules out the most expensive thing on this site, and points at the cheapest.
Quick answers — read this first
What do you give someone who doesn't need anything? Something consumed rather than kept. Reed refills at Rs 2,399, nebuliser oils from Rs 1,049, or candles from Rs 699 - nothing permanent to store.

Is a scent machine a good gift for them? Usually not. A machine is an object to place, maintain and refill, which is the opposite of what somebody who wants nothing more is asking for.

What if they already own a diffuser? Then the refill is the ideal gift - useful immediately, disappears when used, and nothing new enters the house.
The short answer
Short answer: Somebody who says they need nothing is usually objecting to accumulation rather than to being given something, so the right gift is consumed rather than kept. Reed diffuser refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml or Rs 3,499 for 500ml, waterless nebuliser oils at Rs 1,049 for 100gm, Hotel Collection 15ml at Rs 299, and candles from Rs 699 all disappear with use and add nothing permanent. A machine such as the SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999 is the wrong gift for this recipient unless they have specifically wanted one, because it is an object to place, maintain and refill.
The pick: a SOSA return gift - consumable, no shelf space, from ₹299 a head.
Bulk: 10 to 200+ pieces quoted on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Rates are not published here.
Large-home scenting gifts - at a glanceUp to 1,000 m³ - about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. Volume decides, not budgetA 2BHK does not need it. A villa or a penthouse genuinely mightA new house smells of paint for weeks. Air it first, then scent it₹11,999 · four oils included · runs itself
A scenting machine is the one premium home gift that is decided by arithmetic rather than by taste. The SOSA Vaayu covers up to 1,000 cubic metres, roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, which a villa, a penthouse, a large open-plan 4 or 5BHK or a double-height living room genuinely reaches - and which an ordinary flat does not. So the question is never how much somebody has spent on their house; it is how many cubic metres of air are in it. Where the answer is a normal-sized home we will say a reed diffuser from Rs 749 is the better gift. One more thing nobody mentions: a brand-new house smells of paint, varnish and polish for several weeks, and that needs open windows rather than fragrance. Give the machine at the housewarming; it comes into its own a month later. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 with the square footage before you spend Rs 11,999.
Straight answer
What do you give somebody who genuinely does not need anything?
Believe them - and give a consumable. They are objecting to accumulation, not to gifts. So: reed refills ₹2,399 for 300ml if they own bottles · nebuliser oils ₹1,049 if they own a machine · candles from ₹699 · Hotel Collection 15ml ₹299, the cheapest thing in the shop and often the best answer here. Not the Vaayu ₹11,999 - a machine is an object to place, maintain and refill, which is what they just told you they do not want. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
They said no more objects. Give something that gets used up. From Rs 299.
One sentence if you want to skip the reading: over roughly 2,000 sq ft, the Vaayu at ₹11,999; under it, reed diffusers from ₹749. Bulk and corporate quantities are quoted on WhatsApp rather than published.
from ₹299

Take the sentence literally for once

This is the one page in this section that argues against the expensive product, and it does so because the question deserves to be taken at face value. When somebody says they do not need anything, the standard move is to treat it as modesty and buy something anyway, preferably something large. Often that is a misreading. A great many people in comfortable households mean it fairly precisely: the cupboards are full, every object that arrives has to be given a place, dusted, stored when it is not wanted and eventually disposed of, and the arrival of another handsome thing is a small administrative task dressed as a present. Somebody who has spent a weekend clearing a store room is not being coy. So the honest structure of a gift for this person is not expensive or inexpensive. It is consumed or kept. Anything consumed is exempt from the objection, because it leaves the house by being used, and that is a category with excellent options in home fragrance. The best of them is the refill, and it applies whenever the person already owns the hardware, which is far more common than gift-givers assume. If there are reed diffusers in the house, a three hundred millilitre reed refill at two thousand three hundred and ninety-nine rupees or five hundred millilitres at three thousand four hundred and ninety-nine is a serious present - it is months of use, it costs real money, it is immediately useful, and when it is finished nothing remains. If there is a nebulising machine in the house, the waterless nebuliser oils at one thousand and forty-nine rupees for a hundred grams or one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine for three hundred do the same job, in registers including Vetiver, Neelakurinji and Malabar Lemon. The one thing to get right is which system, because these two are not interchangeable: reed refills are for bottles with reeds, nebuliser oils are for the waterless machines, and the water-based Hotel Collection is for ultrasonic mist diffusers. Pouring the wrong one into the wrong device is the commonest mistake in this category and it is worth a moment's checking before buying. Second in the consumed category are candles, which suit this recipient particularly well because a candle is designed to disappear. The woodenwick candles at nine hundred and forty-nine rupees and five paise come in gardenia, jasmine, sandalwood and lavender, and the soy gift sets start at six hundred and ninety-nine. A candle occupies no permanent space, asks for no maintenance and no refill, and it is used on an evening rather than installed in a house. It is also the one product in the range that is frankly an occasion rather than a system, which is precisely the point for somebody who does not want a system. Third, and this is the quietly best answer for a person who wants nothing, is the smallest thing in the shop. The Hotel Collection at two hundred and ninety-nine rupees for fifteen millilitres is a water-based fragrance for ultrasonic diffusers, three to six drops a tank, and it comes in seven registers that are worth naming because they read as the point of the gift rather than its size: Quiet Luxury with white tea, bergamot and cedar; White Tea Serenity with white tea, aloe and cedar; Forest Suite with cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves; Old-World Glamour with amber, violet and woods; Tea Garden with jasmine, green tea and white tea; Warm Welcome with citrus, floral and sandalwood; and Lobby Bar with citrus, pepper and amber. These are SOSA's own interpretations of a register, and SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel brand. If the person owns an ultrasonic diffuser, two or three of these is a thoughtful, tiny, entirely unburdensome gift. Now the argument against the machine, stated plainly, because this site sells it. The SOSA Vaayu at eleven thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees is the right product for a large home that wants even coverage, and it is the wrong gift for somebody who has just told you they do not want more things. A machine has to be placed somewhere. It has to be scheduled, even if the scheduling is easy. It has to be refilled, which means a consumable now recurs in their life. And it changes the house in a way that is not reversible by putting it in a cupboard, because once a home is evenly scented the absence is noticeable. All of that is welcome to somebody who wanted it and unwelcome to somebody who did not, and the difference is not the size of their house or the size of your budget. It is whether they have ever expressed the wish. If they have - if they have admired a hotel lobby out loud, or complained that the house smells of nothing, or asked how those things work - then the machine is not an imposition and the large-home pages on this site are the right place to look. If they have not, the refill is the better gift and it is not a lesser one, because a gift that gets used every day for four months is worth more than a gift that gets admired once and stored. Two closing notes. Nothing here is a solution to a smell that has a cause: a musty cupboard, a damp corner, a kitchen that needs its chimney cleaned. Fix the cause and then scent the clean room, because fragrance is a finishing touch and never a fix. And if they have just moved, everything waits a few weeks anyway, while paint, varnish and new joinery air out with the windows open.

1
They probably mean it
The objection is accumulation
Every object that arrives has to be placed, dusted, stored and eventually disposed of. A handsome new thing is a small administrative task dressed as a present.
Tip: Somebody who spent a weekend clearing a store room is not being coy.
2
So sort gifts by consumed or kept
Not by cheap or expensive
A 300ml reed refill at ₹2,399 is months of use, costs real money, and leaves nothing behind. Candles from ₹699 are designed to disappear.
3
Which rules out the machine
Unless they have asked for it
A machine must be placed, scheduled and refilled, so a consumable now recurs in their life. Welcome if wanted, imposed if not.
Tip: The test is whether they have ever expressed the wish - not the size of the house or the budget.
The SOSA principle
A gift used every day for four months is worth more than one admired once and stored.
Which is why the refill is not a lesser present here. It is the one that matches what they actually said.

If they need nothing, give something that gets used up - not something that gets kept

Something that leaves the house by being used.

The SOSA scent edit
Consumed, not kept
Scent Why it suits the mood
They own reed diffusers · ₹2,399 300ml refill, months of use, nothing left behind. 500ml is ₹3,499.
They own a nebulising machine · ₹1,049 100gm waterless nebuliser oil. Never the water-based Hotel Collection - different system.
They own an ultrasonic diffuser · ₹299 Hotel Collection 15ml, 3 to 6 drops a tank. The smallest, least burdensome gift here.
They own nothing · candles from ₹699 An occasion rather than a system, which is the point for somebody who wants no system.

Related: somebody who has everything, is a machine a good gift and expensive taste. Also besides perfume, watches or alcohol. Shop reed refills at ₹2,399, nebuliser oils from ₹1,049 and Hotel Collection from ₹299.

Return gifts guests finish, not store
Car perfumes from ₹449, candles from ₹379, attars from ₹379 - 10 pieces or 200, quoted on WhatsApp.

A machine cannot be put away in a cupboard, because once a home is evenly scented the absence is noticeable.

A note from Sonal

The Vaayu is the most expensive thing we make and we turn down more orders for it than for anything else in the range. Not because we do not want to sell it - because most homes do not need it. It covers up to a thousand cubic metres, roughly two to three thousand square feet, and that is a villa, a penthouse, a large open-plan flat or a house with a double-height room. An ordinary 2BHK is not that, and in an ordinary 2BHK a reed diffuser at seven hundred and forty-nine rupees does the job better than eleven thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees of machine would. So the question we ask is never what somebody spent on their house. It is how many cubic metres of air are in it.

The second thing we say, and almost nobody expects it, is wait a few weeks. A brand-new home smells of paint, varnish, polish, cement and new wood, and those are not smells to cover - they need open windows and time, and they go on their own. Give the machine at the housewarming by all means, but tell them the scenting starts once the building has finished smelling of being built. It is the same rule we apply to a new car, for the same reason: adding fragrance to a smell that is fading anyway is how a good product gets blamed for a bad result.

Two honest limits. Reed diffusers do not fail in large homes, they simply do not reach - a diffuser on a console table scents the area around that console table, which is not a fault, it is physics, and several of them is a real alternative to one machine. And there are two machines above the Vaayu, the Angaan and the Meenar, which are HVAC units for showrooms and hotel floors rather than houses - so if a home is genuinely far beyond three thousand square feet, message us rather than assuming more money solves it. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 with the square footage and the layout. A portion of every order supports girl-child education.
