Every other page here starts with the size of the home. A wedding is the one occasion where that information does not exist yet. The couple may be moving into a flat nobody has seen, living with family for a year first, or waiting on possession of something still being built - and a machine sized for a thousand cubic metres bought for an unknown address is a guess dressed as a generous gesture.
Quick answers — read this first
Is the SOSA Vaayu a good wedding gift? It is the right product at the wrong moment, because nobody knows the couple's home size yet. Give a reed duo set from Rs 1,498 now and the machine at the housewarming.

When does the machine become appropriate? Once they are in their own home and it is over about 2,000 sq ft - then it is an excellent housewarming or first-Diwali gift.

What if a group has pooled for something large? Give it with a note to install it once the house is settled, after paint and joinery have aired out.
The short answer
Short answer: A wedding gift is chosen before the couple's address and home size are known, which makes a scent machine premature rather than wrong: the SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999 covers up to 1,000 cubic metres, about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, and should only be given where the home genuinely is that size. At a wedding the better gift is a reed diffuser duo set at Rs 1,498 to Rs 2,598, which suits any home, needs no installation and travels if they move. The machine belongs at the housewarming or first Diwali once the couple is settled and paint and new joinery have aired.
The pick: a SOSA return gift - consumable, no shelf space, from ₹299 a head.
Bulk: 10 to 200+ pieces quoted on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Rates are not published here.
Large-home scenting gifts - at a glanceUp to 1,000 m³ - about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. Volume decides, not budgetA 2BHK does not need it. A villa or a penthouse genuinely mightA new house smells of paint for weeks. Air it first, then scent it₹11,999 · four oils included · runs itself
A scenting machine is the one premium home gift that is decided by arithmetic rather than by taste. The SOSA Vaayu covers up to 1,000 cubic metres, roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, which a villa, a penthouse, a large open-plan 4 or 5BHK or a double-height living room genuinely reaches - and which an ordinary flat does not. So the question is never how much somebody has spent on their house; it is how many cubic metres of air are in it. Where the answer is a normal-sized home we will say a reed diffuser from Rs 749 is the better gift. One more thing nobody mentions: a brand-new house smells of paint, varnish and polish for several weeks, and that needs open windows rather than fragrance. Give the machine at the housewarming; it comes into its own a month later. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 with the square footage before you spend Rs 11,999.
Straight answer
Is the SOSA Vaayu a good premium wedding gift?
Right product, wrong moment. Why: at a wedding nobody knows the home's size - or whether the couple has one yet. They may live with family a year, or wait on possession. A machine for 1,000 m³ bought for an unknown address is a guess. Give now: a reed duo set ₹1,498 to ₹2,598 - fits any home, no installation, travels if they move. Give later: the SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 at the housewarming, once the house is settled and over ~2,000 sq ft. Ask on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
You do not know their address yet. Give the duo now, the machine later.
One sentence if you want to skip the reading: over roughly 2,000 sq ft, the Vaayu at ₹11,999; under it, reed diffusers from ₹749. Bulk and corporate quantities are quoted on WhatsApp rather than published.

A wedding gift is bought before the address is known

This page argues against its own most expensive product for a specific and checkable reason. Every recommendation on this site turns on one number - the volume of the home - and at a wedding that number does not exist. Consider what is actually true on the day. A large share of newly married couples in India are not moving into a home of their own immediately: they live with family for the first year or two, or they move into a rented flat while something is being built, or they are waiting on possession of an apartment that will be handed over in eight months. Even where there is a new home, the people buying wedding gifts have usually never been inside it, and the difference between an eleven hundred square foot flat and a two thousand four hundred square foot one decides this purchase completely. The SOSA Vaayu at eleven thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees is rated for up to a thousand cubic metres, which the product states as about two thousand to three thousand square feet. Bought for a flat half that size it will over-scent the home, and an over-scented home is not a neutral outcome - it is a daily irritation that the couple cannot switch off by putting the present in a cupboard, and they will be far too polite to tell you. There is a second reason beyond size, and it applies even when the address is known. A machine is a settling-in purchase. It suits a home where the furniture has arrived, where somebody knows which wall the air conditioning return is on and where the main circulation path runs, and where the household has a routine that a schedule can be built around. A couple in their first three months has none of that. They also, very often, have a house that is still off-gassing - fresh paint, varnish, polish, new joinery and new furniture all give off solvent for days to weeks, and the honest advice for a new home is open windows rather than fragrance, because fragrance added to curing paint smells of both. So the recommendation for the wedding itself is the reed diffuser duo set, and it is not a consolation prize. It is the product that fits an unknown home. Day and Night pairs Morning Freshness - Malabar lemon with peppermint and eucalyptus - with Evening Calm, lavender with chamomile, at one thousand four hundred and ninety-eight rupees for two fifty millilitre bottles or two thousand four hundred and ninety-eight for two of one hundred and thirty. Fresh and Grounded pairs Morning Freshness with Mountain Breeze, Himalayan pine with sage and cedar, at one thousand five hundred and forty-eight and two thousand five hundred and forty-eight. Warmth and Bloom pairs Fresh Brew, Coorg coffee with Kerala vanilla, with Garden Bloom, British rose with night-blooming jasmine, at one thousand five hundred and ninety-eight and two thousand five hundred and ninety-eight. Every one of those works in a one bedroom rental and in a villa. None of them needs a socket, a schedule, an app or a wall. They can be packed and moved twice in two years without losing anything, which is exactly what a young couple's possessions have to survive. And a duo means two registers rather than one, so neither person is stuck with the other's preference - which is a real consideration when two people are combining households and have never had to agree about how a home should smell. If the household is one where a larger wedding present is expected, there are two honest ways up the ladder without guessing at cubic metres. The first is quantity rather than machinery: three or four reed diffusers at seven hundred and forty-nine to one thousand three hundred and forty-nine rupees each, with a three hundred millilitre refill at two thousand three hundred and ninety-nine, comes to a substantial and completely safe gift that will be used in whatever home they end up in. The second is to split the occasion. Give the duo set at the wedding, and tell them the second half is coming when they move in - then buy the machine at the housewarming or at their first Diwali, once you have seen the house or simply asked its built-up area. That conversation is easy by then and awkward now. A pooled group gift is the case where the machine sometimes does get bought at a wedding, usually by colleagues or a friend circle. If that has already happened, it is still salvageable and worth handling well: hand it over as a box rather than as something to be set up on the day, say plainly that it is for the new house once the house is ready, and include the two facts that make it work later - that it ships with four one hundred millilitre hotel-inspired oils so nothing else needs ordering, and that its refills are the waterless nebuliser oils at one thousand and forty-nine rupees for a hundred grams or one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine for three hundred, never the water-based Hotel Collection at two hundred and ninety-nine rupees, which is a separate system for ultrasonic diffusers. Add that it lies flat on a shelf so no drilling is needed, runs at under thirty-eight decibels, draws five watts and weighs nine hundred grams, and that it should go in the main circulation path rather than a corner, with intensity started low. Two last honest notes. If the couple's new home turns out to be larger than roughly three thousand square feet, or if what they are furnishing is a family business space rather than a house, the machine is too small and the right conversation is about SOSA Angaan at twenty-five thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees for around eight to ten thousand square feet or SOSA Meenar at thirty-eight thousand five hundred for twelve to eighteen thousand. And nothing in this range is a religious item or part of any wedding ritual - it is a household gift, and fragrance is a finishing touch and never a fix.

1
The one number is missing
And it decides everything
Many couples live with family first, or rent while something is built, or wait on possession. Gift-buyers have usually never been inside the home.
Tip: The difference between 1,100 and 2,400 sq ft decides this purchase completely.
2
A machine is a settling-in purchase
Not a wedding one
It suits a home where the furniture has arrived, somebody knows where the AC return is, and there is a routine a schedule can be built around.
3
So give what fits an unknown home
A duo set, ₹1,498 to ₹2,598
Works in a one bedroom rental and in a villa. No socket, no app, no wall. Packs and moves twice in two years without losing anything.
Tip: And two registers means neither person is stuck with the other's preference.
The SOSA principle
Split the occasion instead of guessing.
Duo set at the wedding, machine at the housewarming once you have seen the house or simply asked its built-up area. That question is easy then and awkward now.

The gift that fits a home nobody has seen.

A note from Sonal

The Vaayu is the most expensive thing we make and we turn down more orders for it than for anything else in the range. Not because we do not want to sell it - because most homes do not need it. It covers up to a thousand cubic metres, roughly two to three thousand square feet, and that is a villa, a penthouse, a large open-plan flat or a house with a double-height room. An ordinary 2BHK is not that, and in an ordinary 2BHK a reed diffuser at seven hundred and forty-nine rupees does the job better than eleven thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine rupees of machine would. So the question we ask is never what somebody spent on their house. It is how many cubic metres of air are in it.

The second thing we say, and almost nobody expects it, is wait a few weeks. A brand-new home smells of paint, varnish, polish, cement and new wood, and those are not smells to cover - they need open windows and time, and they go on their own. Give the machine at the housewarming by all means, but tell them the scenting starts once the building has finished smelling of being built. It is the same rule we apply to a new car, for the same reason: adding fragrance to a smell that is fading anyway is how a good product gets blamed for a bad result.

Two honest limits. Reed diffusers do not fail in large homes, they simply do not reach - a diffuser on a console table scents the area around that console table, which is not a fault, it is physics, and several of them is a real alternative to one machine. And there are two machines above the Vaayu, the Angaan and the Meenar, which are HVAC units for showrooms and hotel floors rather than houses - so if a home is genuinely far beyond three thousand square feet, message us rather than assuming more money solves it. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 with the square footage and the layout. A portion of every order supports girl-child education.

Is the SOSA Vaayu a good wedding gift?
It is the right product at the wrong moment. Give a reed duo set from Rs 1,498 at the wedding and the machine at the housewarming.
Why is a wedding different from other occasions?
Because the couple's home size is unknown, and often they do not have their own home yet. Every recommendation here turns on that number.
What is the best large wedding gift then?
Quantity rather than machinery - three or four diffusers from Rs 749 each plus a 300ml refill at Rs 2,399.
A group has already pooled for the machine. What now?
Hand it over as a box for the new house when it is ready, with the note that refills are nebuliser oils from Rs 1,049.
Why should a new home wait?
Because fresh paint, varnish, polish and new joinery give off solvent for days to weeks. Open windows first, fragrance afterwards.
