Somewhere between a showroom and an experience centre, this stops being a question about diffusers. By ten thousand square feet the machine is the cheapest line on the page, and every question that actually decides whether the building smells right belongs to whoever designed your air handling.
Quick answers — read this first
How should I scent a 10,000 sq ft kitchen and interior experience centre? With one SOSA Aangan at ₹25,999, specified into the supply side of the building's air handling, rather than with several room machines. 10,000 sq ft at a ten-foot ceiling is about 2,830 cubic metres, which is what the Aangan is built for. Four Vaayus would come to ₹47,996 and give you three handovers, four dials and four tanks.

Why not four Vaayus, one per area? Because areas are not volumes. A Vaayu belongs to a genuinely separate volume of air - a floor, a wing behind doors, its own air-conditioning circuit - and an experience centre of this size is usually one or two large connected volumes with merchandising divisions inside them. Four sources in two volumes overlap rather than add, and the handovers land in the circulation routes. It is also nearly twice the money: ₹47,996 against ₹25,999, for a room that reads less evenly.

What actually decides whether it works? Not the machine. Where the fragrance is introduced into the supply air, how the building is zoned, and what the plant does outside trading hours. Those are your air-conditioning engineer's decisions, and ductwork, filtration and the introduction point are their call rather than a fragrance supplier's. SOSA's installation and HVAC specification support are not published, so confirm exactly what we can and cannot do before you build a programme around it.
The short answer
Short answer: with one SOSA Aangan at ₹25,999 specified into the supply side of the building's air handling. A 10,000 sq ft centre holds roughly 2,830 cubic metres of air at a ten-foot ceiling, or about 5,660 if the shell is double height, which is the Aangan's territory rather than four Vaayus at ₹47,996. At this scale the decision is a services question and the ductwork is your engineer's call.
The pick: one SOSA Aangan (₹25,999) specified into the supply side of the air handling, with the demonstration kitchen deliberately left out of the scented zone and the plant schedule matched to trading hours.
Next step: send the floor plans with ceiling heights, the air-handling layout, the zone schedule and the position of the demonstration kitchen and its extract, and we will tell you what can be specified and what belongs to your engineer - Ask for a retail scenting plan.

At this size nobody's problem is coverage. The problems are where the fragrance enters the supply air, which zones are deliberately excluded, and what the plant is doing at seven in the morning before anybody arrives.

Straight answer
How should a 10,000 sq ft kitchen and interior experience centre actually be scented?
With one SOSA Aangan at ₹25,999, specified into the supply side of the building's air handling - and with most of the work happening after that sentence rather than before it. The sum first. Ten thousand square feet is about 929 square metres, and at a ten-foot ceiling that is roughly 2,830 cubic metres of air. The Aangan is an HVAC nebuliser rated to approximately 8,000-10,000 sq ft, so this is the size it was built for. A SOSA Vaayu, by contrast, is rated to 1000m³, and the reflex answer of four of them is wrong twice over: it is ₹47,996, nearly twice the price, and it does not do the job, because a machine belongs to a genuinely separate volume of air and an experience centre of this size is usually one or two large connected volumes with merchandising divisions inside them. Four sources into two volumes overlap rather than add, and every handover between them lands in a circulation route somebody walks. If the shell is double height, and at this scale it very often is, do the sum again: the same floor holds about 5,660 cubic metres, which is the air of a 20,000 sq ft single-storey building, and at that point the honest conversation includes the SOSA Meenar at ₹38,500, rated to roughly 12,000-18,000 sq ft. Now the part that actually decides whether the building reads well, none of which is a purchase. Where the fragrance is introduced into the supply air determines which parts of the centre receive it. How the building is zoned determines what you can deliberately leave out - and you will want to leave things out, because a demonstration kitchen must stay unscented and is best served by its own extract rather than by a promise to switch something off. What the plant does outside trading hours determines whether Monday morning arrives at the level you set or well above it. And who commissions and adjusts it determines whether the setting holds. Those are your air-conditioning engineer's decisions: ductwork, filtration and the introduction point are their call rather than a fragrance supplier's, and I would be wary of anyone in my trade who claims otherwise. On our side, installation and HVAC specification support are not published, so confirm the scope with SOSA before you plan around it, and the same applies to warranty, spare parts and bulk terms. Standing conditions do not change with scale: a centre still off-gassing from its fit-out gets ventilation and time, because fragrance is never used to mask another smell and is never a substitute for ventilation, extraction or cleaning. And plainly: no one can promise that ambient scent moves footfall, enquiries or order value, and a supplier quoting you a figure at this scale is not measuring, they are selling. Ask for a retail scenting plan and send the drawings.
About 2,830m³ at ten feet, or 5,660m³ double height. One Aangan at ₹25,999 into the air handling, not four Vaayus at ₹47,996. The decisions that matter are zoning, introduction point and plant hours.
The machine is one SOSA Aangan - an HVAC nebuliser rated to roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft, specified into the supply side so the building distributes it. ₹25,999. Four Vaayus at ₹47,996 is the reflex answer and it costs nearly twice as much for a less even room. Installation scope is not published.

The experience-centre machine, specified
SOSA Aangan

Made in India. Installation and HVAC specification support are not published and should be confirmed with SOSA, and ductwork, filtration and the introduction point remain your air-conditioning engineer's call.

The four questions that actually decide it

None of these is answered by a product page, and all four are answered before a machine is ordered. Take them to whoever looks after your air handling.

1
Decide where it is introduced
The introduction point decides which half of your building is scented
A machine in a room reaches what the room's air reaches. A machine specified into air handling reaches whatever that supply serves, which in a large centre is a decision rather than an accident. Introduce it on a supply branch that serves the display halls, the entrance and the consultation suites, and leave the branches serving back-of-house and the demonstration kitchen out of it. This is the single most consequential choice in the whole specification and it is made on a drawing, not on a shelf. It is also not mine to make: ductwork, filtration and the introduction point are your air-conditioning engineer's call, and SOSA's installation support is not published, so confirm the scope first.
Tip: Ask for the zone schedule before the machine. It tells you what is achievable and what is not.

2
Exclude the demonstration kitchen properly
A live kitchen stays unscented by design, not by remembering
Most centres this size run live cooking, and the house position does not soften with scale: a demonstration kitchen stays unscented, because it is a working kitchen and the smell there is supposed to be the food you are cooking. At small scale that is managed with a timer and a door. At 10,000 sq ft it should be managed in the ductwork - the demo zone on its own supply and its own extract, so it is excluded structurally rather than by somebody remembering to switch something off. After a demonstration the answer is extraction and air change, never fragrance over food, which would give you a room that smells of both.
Tip: If the demo kitchen shares a supply branch with the display hall, fix that before you scent anything.
SOSA Aangan
One Aangan ₹25,999, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.

3
Match it to the plant schedule
What the air handling does overnight decides what Monday smells like
In a large centre the plant runs on its own schedule, often starting well before opening and idling or recirculating out of hours, and a fragrance introduced into that supply follows it. A building that has been scented for sixteen hours arrives on Monday morning heavier than anyone set it, and the team will correct that by turning the level down until the trading day reads as nothing. The fix is the schedule, not the dial. Match the fragrance to trading hours, decide deliberately what happens during pre-cooling, and write both on the same sheet as the level. Then judge the result from a consultation seat at minute ninety rather than from the entrance.

The SOSA principle
At ten thousand square feet the machine is the cheapest and least consequential line in the specification. What decides whether the building smells right is where the fragrance enters the supply air, which zones are deliberately excluded, and what the plant does when the centre is shut.
Which is why the first meeting about this should have your air-conditioning engineer in it and not your fragrance supplier.

The specification, written down

This is the order I would work in on a centre of this size, and only one line of it involves buying anything.

The SOSA plan
A 10,000 sq ft kitchen and interior experience centre, specified
The step What to do
Measure the volume
About 2,830m³ at a ten-foot ceiling. A double-height shell is roughly 5,660m³, the air of a 20,000 sq ft single-storey building, and that changes the machine.
Get the zone schedule
Which supply branches serve which parts of the centre. This decides what can be scented and what can be deliberately excluded.
SOSA AanganChoose the machine
One Aangan at ₹25,999 into the supply side. Four Vaayus at ₹47,996 is nearly twice the money for a less even building.
Exclude the demo kitchen
Its own supply and its own extract, so it stays unscented structurally. After a demonstration the answer is extraction and air change rather than fragrance.
Set the plant schedule
Fragrance on trading hours, with a deliberate decision about pre-cooling and out-of-hours recirculation. The schedule matters more than the dial.
Set and lock the level
Judged from a consultation seat at minute ninety and confirmed with the designers who breathe it all week, then recorded so it cannot drift.

If the centre is nearer 5,000 sq ft, the same change of category applies but the machines differ, and that is set out in whether one machine is enough for 5,000 sq ft. If the building is stacked rather than spread, the volumes are usually the floors and that is how to fragrance a two-floor kitchen experience centre. The arithmetic underneath all of it is how to calculate the right scent-machine capacity. SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel.

SOSA Aangan
The reflex answer, priced: Four Vaayus at ₹47,996 - nearly twice the money, three handovers in the circulation routes, four dials and four tanks.

See the SOSA Aangan Book a scenting plan
By this size the fragrance is a fitting, not a purchase. If the first conversation you have about it is with a salesperson rather than with the person who drew your ductwork, the order is already wrong.

Decide the introduction point and the zone schedule before the machine, exclude the demonstration kitchen structurally rather than by habit, and match the fragrance to the plant schedule. A note from Sonal

Letters from centres this size usually arrive as a shopping list. Four machines, one per hall, please confirm availability. And I understand where the list comes from, because it is the same logic that works perfectly at eight hundred square feet: one machine, one room. It stops working the moment the rooms stop being rooms and become halls that share their air, which at ten thousand square feet they almost always do.

What I try to do instead is send the list back with four questions on it, none of which I can answer. Which supply branches serve which parts of the building. Whether the demonstration kitchen has its own extract or shares one. What the plant does between six and ten in the morning. And who will be responsible for the setting a year from now. A centre that has good answers to those four will smell right with a ₹25,999 machine in it. A centre with bad answers will not smell right with four times the hardware, and I would rather you spent the difference on the ductwork.

So: one Aangan at ₹25,999 specified into the air handling, or a Meenar at ₹38,500 if a double-height shell has taken you past it - with the installation scope confirmed with us in writing first, because it is not published, and the ductwork left where it belongs. Dry register, nothing edible - which means our own Fresh Brew at ₹849, Coorg coffee and Kerala vanilla, is ruled out for a kitchen centre however tempting a food note sounds in this trade, and demonstration kitchens stay unscented. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

How should I scent a 10,000 sq ft kitchen and interior experience centre?
With one SOSA Aangan at Rs 25,999, specified into the supply side of the building's air handling rather than placed in a hall. Ten thousand square feet at a ten-foot ceiling holds about 2,830 cubic metres of air, which is what the Aangan is rated for at roughly 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft. Four Vaayus would come to Rs 47,996 and produce a less even building.
Why not four Vaayus rather than one Aangan?
Because merchandising areas are not volumes of air. A Vaayu belongs to a genuinely separate volume - a floor, a wing behind doors, its own air-conditioning circuit - and a centre this size is usually one or two large connected volumes with divisions inside them. Four sources into two volumes overlap rather than add, and the handovers land in the circulation routes. It is also Rs 47,996 against Rs 25,999.
What if the centre is double height?
Do the sum again, because it changes the machine. A 10,000 sq ft floor at twenty feet holds roughly 5,660 cubic metres, which is the air of a 20,000 sq ft single-storey building. At that volume the honest conversation includes the SOSA Meenar at Rs 38,500, rated to roughly 12,000 to 18,000 sq ft. The decision is made on cubic volume rather than on the floor area written on the lease.
Who specifies the installation at this scale?
Your air-conditioning engineer. Ductwork, filtration and the point at which a nebuliser is introduced into the supply air are their decisions, and a fragrance supplier who tells you otherwise is overreaching. SOSA's installation and HVAC specification support are not published, so confirm exactly what we can and cannot do before you plan around it. The same applies to warranty, spare parts and bulk terms at this scale.
How do I keep the demonstration kitchen out of it?
Structurally rather than by remembering. A demonstration kitchen stays unscented because it is a working kitchen and the smell there should be the food. At this scale that means putting the demo zone on its own supply and its own extract so it is excluded in the ductwork, instead of relying on somebody switching a machine off. After a demonstration the answer is extraction and air change, never fragrance over food.

Facts verified 5 September 2026 against the live SOSA product pages: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, described by the manufacturer as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with adjustable intensity, a 400ml refillable tank lasting 90+ days a fill depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and button control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, operation under 38dB at 5W, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, auto-stop and key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification, which are electrical and compliance marks and not medical approvals. Being waterless, it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces or equipment. The SOSA Sukoon (₹1,899) is an ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser covering roughly 270-320 sq ft and is supplied with three 15ml fragrances; the water-based Hotel Collection (₹299 / ₹999 / ₹1,799) is an ultrasonic fragrance and is not a refill for a waterless cold-air machine. SOSA reed diffusers are alcohol-free and phthalate-free, with 50ml lasting about 6-8 weeks and 130ml about 14-18 weeks. Cold-air refill oil for the Vaayu is not currently sold separately - the machine ships with 400ml included and further refills should be confirmed with SOSA. Warranty, annual maintenance, installation and bulk terms are not published and should be confirmed before ordering. Ambient scent is an interior and hospitality decision: it makes no clinical, therapeutic or wellbeing claim, it works alongside proper ventilation, cleaning and infection control and is never a substitute for any of them, it is never used to mask another smell, and no claim is made that fragrance influences a patient's decision or any commercial outcome. Clinical areas including procedure, post-procedure and photography rooms are left unscented, and the treating clinician's judgement overrides any scenting plan in their own room.
