How Many Scent Machines Do I Need for a 3,000 Sq Ft Appliance Store?

One. Owners ask at 3,000 sq ft because it is the first size at which one Vaayu stops having margin, and the instinct when a machine runs out of margin is to buy another one. The instinct is wrong; here is why. Three thousand square feet is about 279 square metres. At a three-metre ceiling that is roughly 835 cubic metres of air; the SOSA Vaayu is rated to 1000m³, so on a standard floor one Vaayu covers the store at the top of its range - working, with the intensity higher than a floor of steel and glass prefers and no allowance for a sunlit glass front or a mall door that never shuts. Put two of them in one connected volume and you get two gradients that meet somewhere in the middle of the floor in a band stronger than either, while the two far edges - the door and the specification table, usually - are the weak ends of both. Then two people turn up two dials to fix two edges, and within a month the middle of the store is a fragrance shop. Two Vaayus also cost about what one Angaan costs and are rated to a third less air between them, with two tanks to refill, two schedules to keep in step and two locks to remember. One large machine vs multiple smaller machines goes through the whole case. When is a second machine honest? Only for a second volume of air: a first floor with a solid floor between it and the ground, a wing behind doors that stay shut with its own air-conditioning, a closed consultation room. One open floor on one AC system is one volume, whatever partitions stand on it - partitions are a height problem, not a count problem. Placement and level are as on every page here: high on the wall the supply crosses first, away from the return, reception side, never the hood wall; the lowest setting the far end can still find at five in the afternoon, set for the advisor, locked. Register dry - Mountain Breeze cedar and sage, or lemon-mint for a white floor - nothing edible near a hob. The demo kitchen and the coffee counter stay unscented while they run; the machine goes off on its schedule before the demonstration and extraction clears the room after.
