Seven hundred and fifty square feet is the size at which owners start writing to me convinced they have outgrown the cheap machine. Almost none of them have, and the reason is that a showroom does not outgrow a small diffuser by getting bigger - it outgrows it by getting divided.
Quick answers — read this first
What scent machine does a 750 sq ft kitchen showroom need? One SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899, placed upstream of the consultation seating and run at the lowest setting you can still just detect. That is the whole list. If one far corner genuinely reads as nothing after you have checked placement, add one Mountain Breeze reed at ₹849 there rather than turning anything up. Total hardware spend: ₹1,899, or ₹2,748 with the reed.

Why is a Vaayu the wrong buy at this size? Because the sum is unkind and worth seeing. 750 sq ft is about 70 square metres, which at a ten-foot ceiling is roughly 212 cubic metres of air. The Vaayu is rated to 1000m³. You would be paying ₹11,999 for a machine specified for nearly five times the room you own, and then keeping it turned down for the rest of its life. The features are genuinely good. At 750 sq ft in one connected room, none of them is load-bearing.

When does 750 sq ft justify the bigger machine? When the floor stops being one room. A Vaayu earns ₹11,999 on control, no water, distribution and uptime - not on coverage - and three of those four only matter once you have a second volume of air. An entrance lobby behind its own door, a closed consultation room, a mezzanine, or central air handling to mount into. A bigger single room is not a second volume, and that is the distinction this whole post turns on.
The short answer
Short answer: one SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899. A 750 sq ft showroom holds roughly 212 cubic metres of air at a ten-foot ceiling and the Vaayu is rated to 1000m³, so the expensive machine is specified for nearly five times the room. Total hardware spend: ₹1,899, with a ₹849 Mountain Breeze reed at the far end only if a corner reads flat after placement is right.
The pick: one SOSA Sukoon (₹1,899) upstream of the consultation seating on the lowest setting you can still detect, plus one Mountain Breeze reed (₹849) at the far end of the floor only if that corner reads as nothing once placement has been corrected.
Next step: send the showroom's length, width and ceiling height in metres, plus a note of every door that closes, and we will tell you whether you own one volume of air or two - Ask for a retail scenting plan.
750 sq ft, decided by arithmetic rather than ambition750 sq ft x a 10 ft ceiling = about 212m³ of airThe Vaayu is rated to 1000m³ - nearly five times thatSo: one Sukoon ₹1,899, not a Vaayu at ₹11,999Total hardware spend: ₹1,899. A reed makes it ₹2,748.Double height? About 424m³, and the answer holds
Every number here comes off a tape measure, and the reason I keep writing the sum out is that a square-foot rating hides the ceiling. Hidden arithmetic is how a one-room showroom ends up with a machine built for a department store.
The 750 sq ft machine - tap to see the specification
Straight answer
What is the best scent machine for a 750 sq ft modular kitchen showroom?
One SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899, and I want to talk you out of the alternative rather than simply naming a winner, because at this size almost everybody arrives having already chosen the expensive machine. Here is the arithmetic. You scent a volume of air, not a floor area. Seven hundred and fifty square feet is about 70 square metres. At an ordinary ten-foot ceiling that is roughly 212 cubic metres. A SOSA Vaayu is rated to 1000m³, roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. So the machine you are considering is specified for nearly five times the air you actually own, at ₹11,999 against ₹1,899. That is a difference of ₹10,100, and what it buys you at 750 sq ft is a unit that lives permanently on its lowest setting while you wonder whether it is still too much. Now the honest part, because the Vaayu is a good machine and the case for it is real - it is simply not a coverage case. A Vaayu earns its price on four things: control (timers on trading hours, adjustable intensity, a key-lock against a floor full of well-meaning hands), no water added to the room, distribution through wall or HVAC mounting that reaches somewhere a freestanding unit cannot, and uptime from a 400ml tank running 90+ days a fill at under 38dB. Read that list against your building. If your 750 sq ft is one open floor with a display run, a table and one door, then three of those four have nothing to do. What you are short of is not reach, it is control - and at this size control costs a switch and a habit rather than ₹10,100. Whoever opens the showroom turns the Sukoon on; whoever closes turns it off; the level gets written on a card taped inside the cupboard so nobody improvises. The Vaayu becomes the right answer the day the floor stops being one room - an entrance behind its own door, a closed consultation room, a mezzanine, central air handling. A bigger single room is not a second volume of air. Two standing conditions before you spend anything. If the showroom is new and still smells of laminate, adhesive or new joinery, buy nothing yet; that is a curing problem answered by ventilation and time, and fragrance is never used to mask another smell and is never a substitute for ventilation, extraction or cleaning. And if you cook in the room, the machine goes off during the demonstration and stays off until the extraction has cleared the air. Register: dry, material-led, nothing edible. And plainly, because somebody will offer you a figure: no one can promise that ambient scent moves footfall, enquiries or order value, and a supplier quoting you a number is selling. Ask for a retail scenting plan and send the dimensions.
750 sq ft is about 212m³ of air against a Vaayu rated to 1000m³, so the big machine is nearly five times the room. One Sukoon at ₹1,899, upstream, lowest usable setting. Total hardware spend: ₹1,899.
The buy here is one SOSA Sukoon - rated 270-320 sq ft, ultrasonic cool mist, supplied with three 15ml fragrances so you can test the register before you commit to it. ₹1,899. The Vaayu at ₹11,999 is rated to 1000m³ and your floor holds about 212m³, so it is four rungs early rather than slightly ambitious.

SOSA Sukoon
Ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser rated to roughly 270-320 sq ft, supplied with three 15ml fragrances. In a single volume with an air conditioner moving air, one unit placed upstream of the seating carries a 750 sq ft floor at a low setting. ₹1,899, and there is nothing else on the list.

What you are declining, and why
SOSA Vaayu
Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, with app timers, adjustable intensity, key-lock, under 38dB and wall or HVAC mounting. Every one of those is real. None of them is load-bearing in 212m³ of air behind one door, which is what makes ₹11,999 the wrong spend today rather than a generous one.
From ₹11,999
SOSA Sukoon
The 750 sq ft machine, specified
SOSA Sukoon
Ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser covering roughly 270-320 sq ft, supplied with three 15ml fragrances so the register can be tested before it is chosen. Quiet enough for a room where a customer sits for ninety minutes, simple enough that whoever opens the showroom can run it without training, and cheap enough that getting the answer wrong costs ₹1,899 rather than ₹11,999. Made in India.

Why the bigger machine is still the wrong buy

Three checks, in this order. If all three come back the way they usually do at this size, the answer is ₹1,899 and you can stop reading.

1
Do the cubic sum
Seventy square metres of floor is about 212 cubic metres of air
Take a tape measure to the floor: length in metres, width in metres, ceiling height in metres, multiplied together. A 750 sq ft showroom at a standard ten-foot ceiling comes out at roughly 212 cubic metres. Subtract nothing for the display kitchens - air travels around cabinetry rather than through it, and the carcases are not holding meaningful volume out of the sum. Now put that beside the machine rating. The Vaayu is 1000m³. That is not a near miss, it is a factor of nearly five. Any supplier who answers your question in square feet without asking your ceiling height has skipped the first step of the arithmetic, and you are entitled to ask for the cubic number before you take the rest of the quote seriously.
Tip: Measure the ceiling first. It is the number a square-foot rating quietly assumes on your behalf.

2
Count your volumes, not your square feet
A bigger single room is not a second volume of air
This is the check that actually decides the rung. Walk the showroom and count the spaces that have a real boundary - a wall to the ceiling, a door that closes, or its own air-conditioning zone. Most 750 sq ft showrooms come back with the answer one. One volume takes one source, and the Vaayu's distribution advantage, which is the strongest of its four honest reasons, has nowhere to be spent. If you come back with two, because there is a consultation room that shuts or an entrance lobby behind glass, then the conversation genuinely changes and you should read the 1,000 sq ft post next. The trigger is division, not size.
Tip: Doors decide this, not floor plans. A zone drawn on a drawing is not a zone of air.
SOSA Vaayu
One Vaayu ₹11,999, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.

3
Set it for the ninetieth minute
A customer chooses a kitchen sitting down, for an hour and a half
Whatever you buy, this is where the level gets decided, and it is why a kitchen showroom sits lower than a store people walk through. Your customer sits at a table selecting finishes for sixty to ninety minutes and exposure compounds the whole time; your designer breathes the same air nine hours a day, six days a week. Judge the setting from that seat at minute ninety rather than from the doorway at minute one, because your nose adapts within about twenty minutes of arriving and the doorway is how every over-scented showroom got that way. Ask the two or three people who work there and treat a hesitant yes as a no. At 750 sq ft the failure mode is never too little.

One Sukoon ₹1,899, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.

The SOSA principle
A showroom does not outgrow a small diffuser by getting bigger - it outgrows it by getting divided. Seven hundred and fifty square feet is usually one volume of air with a longer walk across it, and a longer walk is not a second room.
Which is why the honest upgrade trigger is a door that closes rather than a number on a lease.

The whole hardware list: One SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899, three 15ml fragrances included, placed upstream of the consultation seating. There is no second line item.

The plan for one connected floor

The entire plan for a 750 sq ft showroom fits on one card, which is a fair signal of how simple this rung of the ladder should be.

The SOSA plan
A 750 sq ft kitchen showroom, decided by volume rather than floor area
The step What to do
Measure the volume
Length x width x ceiling height in metres. About 212m³ at a ten-foot ceiling, about 424m³ if the unit is double height. Write the number down before you shop.
Count the volumes
How many spaces have a wall to the ceiling, a door that closes or their own AC zone? At this size the answer is almost always one, and one volume takes one source.
SOSA SukoonChoose the machine
One Sukoon at ₹1,899. Total hardware spend: ₹1,899. The Vaayu is rated for nearly five times this volume and is the wrong rung today.
Place it
Upstream of the consultation seating, roughly a metre up, out of the air conditioner's return path, never at the door and never inside a display kitchen.
SOSA Mountain Breeze reed diffuserIf a corner reads flat
Correct placement first. If it still reads as nothing, add one Mountain Breeze reed at ₹849 there rather than turning anything up. Total then ₹2,748.
If the floor is new
Buy nothing yet. Laminate, adhesive and new joinery are a curing problem answered by ventilation and time, and trading unscented until it has gone is the correct first move.

If your studio is nearer 500 sq ft than 750, the answer is the same machine for a slightly different reason, set out in what scent machine a 500 sq ft modular kitchen studio needs. And if you would rather have the method than the answer, so you can run it again when you take a bigger unit, how to calculate the right scent-machine capacity is the arithmetic written out in full. SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel.

SOSA Sukoon
If one far corner reads flat: One Mountain Breeze reed at ₹849 at that end as a quiet always-on baseline, after placement has been checked. Total then ₹2,748.
The small machine, honestly recommended
SOSA Sukoon ₹1,899 covers about 270-320 sq ft - the right size of answer for one connected showroom floor.
See the SOSA Sukoon Book a scenting plan
The ₹10,100 you are about to save is not a discount. It is the money you were about to spend on four features you have nowhere to use, and I would rather you spent it on lighting.

A note from Sonal

The letters I get about 750 sq ft showrooms are rarely questions. They are announcements with a question mark on the end: we have taken a bigger unit, so we are moving up to the proper machine, which one. And I understand it, because everything else about taking a bigger showroom is an upgrade. The lighting is better, the display run is longer, the signage cost more. It feels wrong that the air should be the one line that stays where it was.

But the air does not know your lease has changed. It knows how many cubic metres it occupies and how many boundaries it has to cross. Seventy square metres, a ten-foot ceiling, roughly two hundred and twelve cubic metres, one door. Against a machine rated for a thousand. The number that would change my answer is not the square footage at all, it is the count of spaces in your building that have a door which closes - and at this size that count is almost always one.

So: one Sukoon at ₹1,899, and one Mountain Breeze reed at ₹849 at the far end only if that corner genuinely reads as nothing. Total hardware spend: ₹1,899. Dry register, nothing edible - which means our own Fresh Brew at ₹849, Coorg coffee and Kerala vanilla, is ruled out for a kitchen showroom, and I would rather tell you that than sell you one. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best scent machine for a 750 sq ft kitchen showroom?
One SOSA Sukoon at Rs 1,899, placed upstream of the consultation seating and run at the lowest setting you can still detect. That is the whole hardware answer for a floor that is one connected volume of air. If a far corner reads as nothing once placement is right, add one Mountain Breeze reed at Rs 849 there rather than turning anything up. Total hardware spend: Rs 1,899, or Rs 2,748 with the reed.
Why not a Vaayu at 750 sq ft?
Because you scent a volume of air, not a floor area. Seven hundred and fifty square feet is about 70 square metres, which at a ten-foot ceiling is roughly 212 cubic metres. The Vaayu is rated to 1000 cubic metres, about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. That makes it a machine specified for nearly five times the air you own, at Rs 11,999 against Rs 1,899. It would spend its whole life turned down.
What would make a Vaayu the right answer at this size?
Division rather than growth. The Vaayu earns its price on control, on adding no water to the room, on distribution through wall or HVAC mounting, and on uptime. Three of those four only pay for themselves once you have a second volume of air to reach - an entrance behind its own door, a consultation room that closes, a mezzanine, or central air handling to mount into. A bigger single room is not a second volume.
My showroom has a double-height ceiling. Does that change it?
It changes the sum and not the conclusion. A twenty-foot ceiling roughly doubles the volume, so 750 sq ft becomes about 424 cubic metres rather than 212. That is still well under half of what a Vaayu is rated for. What it does change is placement: warm air rises and carries fragrance up with it, so in a double-height unit the machine goes low rather than high. Still one Sukoon at Rs 1,899.
Will scenting a 750 sq ft showroom bring in more customers?
No one can promise that and I will not. SOSA has run no research that would support a figure, and there is no honest way to separate ambient scent from the twenty other things a customer experiences across a ninety-minute consultation. Any supplier who offers you a number for footfall, enquiries or order value is not measuring, they are selling. The question worth answering is whether the air agrees with the displays, the lighting and the price of the kitchens.

Facts verified 5 September 2026 against the live SOSA product pages: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, described by the manufacturer as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with adjustable intensity, a 400ml refillable tank lasting 90+ days a fill depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and button control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, operation under 38dB at 5W, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, auto-stop and key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification, which are electrical and compliance marks and not medical approvals. Being waterless, it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces or equipment. The SOSA Sukoon (₹1,899) is an ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser covering roughly 270-320 sq ft and is supplied with three 15ml fragrances; the water-based Hotel Collection (₹299 / ₹999 / ₹1,799) is an ultrasonic fragrance and is not a refill for a waterless cold-air machine. SOSA reed diffusers are alcohol-free and phthalate-free, with 50ml lasting about 6-8 weeks and 130ml about 14-18 weeks. Cold-air refill oil for the Vaayu is not currently sold separately - the machine ships with 400ml included and further refills should be confirmed with SOSA.
