How many dabs of evening attar should I wear?

One to two dabs is the standard. Apply behind each ear, on the inner wrist, and (if you want longer projection) at the base of the throat. Avoid the décolletage if you'll be eating dinner — the projection will fight with food aromas. Never rub the wrists together; press and let the warmth open the molecules.

Will I need to reapply evening attar through the night?

Usually no. Mastani, Nawaab, and Ameeri all wear six to eight hours from a single application — long enough to cover dinner, drinks, the after-party, and the cab home. Drier skins can dab once more on the inner wrist before dessert if they want to ensure projection through the second half of the evening.

Can men wear Mastani for the evening?

Yes. Mastani is composed feminine sensual, but on confident male skin the night-jasmine-oudh-vanilla axis reads as a deeply elegant signature scent. We have a steady core of male customers who wear Mastani specifically for evening dates, anniversary dinners, and signature evenings. The Western codes that gender florals as feminine don't fully apply to Indian attar tradition.

Can women wear Nawaab for the evening?

Absolutely. Nawaab is composed masculine royal, but on confident female skin it reads as powerful, unapologetic signature wear — the way a woman might wear a tuxedo to a black-tie event. The white royal oud, Kashmir saffron, and tobacco leaf are gender-agnostic in Indian and Middle Eastern perfumery tradition.

Is evening attar safe for women who wear hijab?

Yes — and attar is the traditional fragrance choice for hijab-observant women precisely because it's alcohol-free and dab-applied. Apply to the inner wrist and behind the ears (under the scarf), or to the corner of the hijab fabric itself. All SOSA attars are halal-permissible by composition.

Is evening attar safe for bearded men?

Yes. In fact, beard hair is one of the best long-wear surfaces for attar — the oils sit into the hair and release slowly all evening. Apply one dab on the chin under the beard and one behind each ear. Nawaab particularly suits bearded wear because the white oud and tobacco notes harmonise with the slightly warm natural scent of skin under facial hair.

Can pregnant women wear evening attar?

Pregnancy is the single most individual time for fragrance tolerance. SOSA attars are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, DPG-free, and IFRA-compliant — gentler than nearly any alcohol cologne. For pregnant women, we'd suggest Mastani or Ameeri at a lower application (one dab inner wrist only) rather than the standard two-point application. Never apply attar to belly or breast tissue. Consult your obstetrician if you have any history of fragrance reactivity.

What evening attar should I wear for a cocktail party?

Mastani for sensual feminine cocktail wear, Nawaab for masculine cocktail wear, Ameeri for festive cocktail parties (Diwali, Eid, birthdays). For New Year's Eve, either Mastani or Nawaab depending on the register of the evening — Mastani if it's an intimate dinner-into-midnight, Nawaab if it's a black-tie corporate or club event.
