Why the scent disappears so fast
If a fragrance is strong on day one and gone by the weekend, the format is not broken - the formula and the conditions are working against you. Let me name the real reasons.
A cheap, alcohol-heavy oil. This is the biggest one and the least talked about. Many inexpensive reed oils are mostly alcohol carrier. Alcohol flashes off quickly, so you get a big hit early and very little left within days. It is the fragrance equivalent of a firework.
Heat. Evaporation rises with temperature, and Indian bathrooms run warm. A diffuser near the geyser or in a hot, sun-facing room loses oil fast.
