This is the trigger founders never think to count, and it is one of the most real. If several people open, close and work at the desk, somebody will eventually turn the level up because they can no longer smell it - which is ordinary, since a nose adapts to a constant background within about twenty minutes. Over months that produces a reception that arrives at the door. A key-lock and a fixed timer are the answer, and they are the reason a machine is worth its price in a staffed clinic even when the floor area alone would not justify it. In a one-person practice this trigger is simply false, and that changes the answer honestly.

The sixth trigger is the one people try to solve by spending small amounts repeatedly. A reed's reach is set by the exposed surface area of the reeds, not by the volume of oil behind them - so a 130ml at ₹1,349 buys fourteen to eighteen weeks instead of six to eight, and not one extra metre of range. This is the question at the end of every conversation I have with a gynaecologist, and it is usually asked in the form of permission - is my clinic the kind of place that needs a proper system? I do not think that is a useful way to decide, because the answer people want is about status and the honest answer is about plumbing. So I wrote the list down, and I use it on the phone exactly as it appears in this post.
The reason it is a list of six rather than a size rule is that size alone gets it wrong in both directions.
