Keep the register identical and let the numbers differ, because a small reception and a double-height entrance need different settings in order to read as the same group. The part that must not differ at all is the list of rooms carrying nothing, and there is a gap in what we can offer a chain that you should know about before the second branch is commissioned.
Quick answers — read this first
What has to be the same across branches, and what does not? Identical everywhere: the register itself, the list of rooms that carry nothing, the discipline of a locked panel and a written setting, and the person who owns the standard. Different at every site: the level, the run hours and sometimes the placement, because each branch is a different volume with different doors, different ceilings and different air paths. A patient who uses two of your branches should meet the same building twice — and that is a statement about character and boundaries rather than about output.
Why can't we just use the same setting everywhere? Because a setting is not a character, it is a number attached to a volume. A 520 sq ft reception under a 3.0 m slab is about 145 m³; a 1,400 sq ft entrance under a 4.5 m double-height void is about 585 m³, which is four times as much air. Run both at the same number and one of them is faint and the other is loud, and the group stops reading as one group. Work each branch out from its own cubic metres, write the number down, and treat the identical figure as the mistake rather than the standard.
What can SOSA not offer a multi-branch group? Quite a lot, and it is better said here than discovered later. There is no multi-site programme: no bulk pricing, no minimum order quantity, no GST or contracting arrangement, no custom branding, no annual maintenance contract, no warranty terms and no installation or lead-time commitment published anywhere. There is also no separately sold cold-air refill oil in the published range. A group standardising on one register therefore has to settle supply continuity with us in writing before it commits, not afterwards.
The short answer
Short answer: One register and one identical zero list for the group; the level, the run hours and sometimes the placement set per branch from that branch's own cubic metres. One named owner holds the standard and the settings record, branch managers do not adjust anything, and every panel is locked. And the gap, stated plainly: there is no multi-site programme and no separately sold cold-air refill oil, so continuity must be agreed in writing first.
The pick: the same machine at every branch — one SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 per site, each set from its own volume rather than from a group-wide number.
Next step: send the reception dimensions and ceiling heights for every branch and we will work out the three or four different numbers that make them read as one group — ask for a scenting plan.
How do we keep one scent identity across several clinic branches without making them all equally strong?
Separate the two things that are being confused in that sentence. The identity is the register — the character, chosen once, for the group — and it is identical at every branch. The level is arithmetic, it belongs to each building separately, and the day two branches share a number by coincidence rather than by calculation is the day the group starts to sound like a group and smell like three unrelated buildings. Take three of your sites. A reception in RS Puram of 520 sq ft under a 3.0 m slab is 520 × 3.0 × 0.0929, about 145 m³. A Peelamedu entrance of 1,400 sq ft with a 4.5 m double-height void over it is about 585 m³, four times the air. A Saravanampatti front of 950 sq ft under 3.2 m is about 282 m³. The same machine goes into all three, because a consistent piece of equipment is part of what makes a standard keepable, and all three run at different settings, arrived at on site. Now the part that is not negotiable and is specific to healthcare. The list of rooms carrying nothing must be identical at every branch, word for word, even where the room mix differs. If one branch has no day-care bay, the line still appears in that branch's copy marked not applicable, so that the list never shrinks quietly by omission and a manager never inherits a shorter version of the rule. Two branches may legitimately run at different levels; they may never have different boundaries. Then the ownership, which is what actually holds a group together. One named person owns the standard, the register, the zero list and the settings record for the whole group — not one owner per branch. Branch managers execute: they refill, they report, they do not adjust. Every panel is locked, every setting is written on a label inside the panel cupboard with the date and the name of whoever set it, and a single sheet lists all the branches with volume, machine, level, run hours and commissioning date on one line each. Without that sheet, three branches become three opinions inside a year, and the identity you paid for has gone without anybody deciding to abandon it. Finally, the gap, which I would rather state here than after five sites are running. SOSA has no multi-site programme. There is no bulk pricing, no minimum order quantity, no GST or contracting arrangement, no custom branding, no annual maintenance contract, no warranty terms and no published installation or lead-time commitment. There is also no separately sold cold-air refill oil in the published range. So a group that intends to standardise on one register has to settle continuity of supply with us in writing before it commits, through our contact page, and nothing is promised on this page. As everywhere else in this family: ambient fragrance is an interior and brand-experience decision, your clinicians and your policy govern every clinical room, and nobody can promise it moves a business number — not an appointment, not a referral, not a package.
The register is identical, the numbers are not. Work each branch out from its own cubic metres, keep the zero list word-for-word the same everywhere, give the whole group one owner, and settle supply continuity in writing before you commit.
The same machine at each site keeps the standard keepable: one SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 per branch, each set from its own volume. A 400ml tank lasts 90+ days at about 5W.
Standardising the equipment across a group is worth more than the equipment itself: one set of controls, one refill routine, one way of locking a panel and one line of instruction for every branch manager. Size each site separately against its own cubic metres, then buy the same unit for all of them unless one branch genuinely has a concourse rather than a reception.
₹11,999. Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft at an ordinary ceiling. Adjustable intensity, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, app and onboard control, key-lock, under 38dB, a 400ml tank at 90+ days. Waterless, so it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces.
₹25,999. HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft at an ordinary ceiling, 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules, under 42dB. Worth it only where one site has a large public floor on its own air handling, and never as a way of making one branch stronger.
₹11,999, 1000m³ coverage or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft at an ordinary ceiling. Waterless nebulisation of undiluted oil — no water, no heat, no steam. 400ml tank lasting 90+ days, Bluetooth app plus onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, auto-stop, key-lock, under 38dB, 5W, which is roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month on a ten-hour daily schedule. Freestanding, wall or HVAC mount. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.
The register, the numbers, and the person who owns both
Three cards: what stays identical across the group, how each branch arrives at its own number, and the ownership and record-keeping that stop four buildings from drifting apart in the first year. The gap in what we can offer a chain is stated in the last of them and again in the specification below.
1
One
Identical: the register, and the rooms that carry nothing
Choose the register once, for the group, and choose it where the group is most exposed — usually the busiest reception rather than the newest one. Dry, clean, unsweetened, quiet enough that a patient does not name it. Then write the zero list once and issue it unchanged to every branch: consultation rooms, treatment and procedure rooms, imaging and scan rooms, blood-collection rooms, laboratories and sample-processing areas, day-care bays, changing rooms and the corridors that feed them, all carrying nothing at all. Where a branch lacks one of those rooms, keep the line and mark it not applicable. This sounds pedantic and it is the single most useful piece of pedantry in this article, because a list that shortens at one site is a list that a new manager inherits in a weaker form, and nobody is ever able to say when the boundary moved.
Tip: Have the group's clinical lead sign one copy of the zero list, then issue photocopies. Four separately drafted lists will not stay the same list.
Standardising on one Vaayu per branch is part of the same instinct: identical equipment makes an identical instruction possible.
Per site: the numbers, from each building's own cubic metres
Square feet × ceiling height in metres × 0.0929 = cubic metres, and do it per branch rather than once for the group. A 520 sq ft reception under 3.0 m is about 145 m³; a 1,400 sq ft entrance under a 4.5 m double-height void is about 585 m³; a 950 sq ft front under 3.2 m is about 282 m³. Those three buildings will read as one group only if they run at three different settings. Then commission each one separately, because the volume is not the only difference: one branch has a door onto a busy road that opens every ninety seconds, another has a stairwell rising out of the reception, a third is conditioned all day with the doors shut. Set the level on site with somebody who has just come in from outside, leave it a week, walk the boundary rooms at three times of day, and only then write the number on the sheet.
Tip: Measure ceiling heights yourself at each branch. Double-height entrances are the single biggest reason a group-wide setting fails.
Run hours belong on the branch sheet too: a Vaayu timed to each site's own opening hours is part of what makes the group consistent rather than merely similar.
One owner, one sheet — and the gap you should know about
Name one person for the whole group who owns the standard, the register, the zero list and the settings record. Not one per branch. Branch managers refill and report; they do not adjust, and every panel is locked so that they cannot. Keep a single sheet with one line per branch: volume, machine, level, run hours, date commissioned, who set it. That sheet is the whole governance of a multi-site plan and it fits on one page. Then the part I have to state plainly. SOSA publishes no multi-site programme — no bulk pricing, no minimum order quantity, no GST or contracting arrangement, no custom branding, no annual maintenance contract, no warranty terms, and no installation or lead-time commitment. There is also no separately sold cold-air refill oil in the published range. A group standardising on one register must therefore settle continuity of supply in writing with us before it commits, and I would rather lose the order than have four branches discover that in month seven.
Tip: Put the gap in front of your own procurement people before the first branch is commissioned, not after the fourth.
A locked panel is the technical half of governance and the sheet is the written half. A Vaayu without either will be adjusted by somebody helpful within a quarter.
Across branches, the thing that has to be identical is not the setting — it is the list of rooms that carry nothing. Two buildings may legitimately run at different levels; they may never have different boundaries.
That is what separates a group with one identity from a group with one supplier. The register makes the branches recognisable to a patient; the shared zero list is what makes the whole arrangement defensible to a clinician at any one of them.
Why identical equipment matters to a chain: one set of controls, one refill routine, one locking method and one line of instruction for every branch manager. The unit is also waterless, adding no moisture to the air and leaving no residue on surfaces, which is the only product claim on this page.
This table is the group standard in one view. Read the right-hand column as an instruction to whoever owns the document: anything marked identical is issued unchanged to every branch, and anything marked per site is calculated at that branch and written on the sheet before the machine is switched on.

The list of rooms that carry nothing
Identical, word for word, and signed once by the group's clinical lead. Where a branch lacks a room on the list, the line stays and is marked not applicable, so the list can never shorten by omission at one site.
The level, the run hours and the placement
Per site, always. Each branch is its own volume with its own doors, ceiling height and air paths, and a setting copied from another branch is the commonest reason a group stops sounding like one.
Ownership and the settings record
Identical: one named owner for the whole group, one sheet with a line per branch, every panel locked. Branch managers refill and report rather than adjust, and that distinction is the entire governance of the plan.
The document this standard lives inside — four sections, two pages, signed by a clinical lead — is set out in fragrance-free zones in a large medical centre. Before commissioning any branch that has more than one floor, read the multi-floor placement page, because the stairwell decides where the source can sit. And the boundary that the group's zero list is built on is argued in reception scented, consultation and treatment rooms neutral. SOSA makes no medical, clinical, diagnostic or air-treatment claim of any kind, and no claim that ambient fragrance affects appointments, referrals, package uptake or any commercial number.
The locked panel is the multi-site control: with four branches and four helpful managers, an unlocked dial will produce four different buildings inside a year, and nobody will be able to say when it happened. Lock it, write the setting and the date inside the cupboard, and keep the key with the group owner.
One register, one zero list, three different numbers. The register is the identity; the numbers are arithmetic, and the day a branch manager starts choosing them the identity is over.

One unit per branch, sized from that branch
Standard equipment, per-site settings, one sheet recording both
One register and one zero list issued unchanged to every site, one machine type across the group, levels and run hours calculated per branch and recorded on a single sheet, every panel locked, one named owner. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The SOSA multi-branch specification
One machine type across the group, a different number at every site
The gap, stated plainly: SOSA publishes no multi-site programme — no bulk pricing, no minimum order quantity, no GST or contracting arrangement, no custom branding, no annual maintenance contract, no AMC, no warranty terms, and no installation or lead-time commitment — and there is no separately sold cold-air refill oil in the published range, so a chain must settle continuity of supply in writing through our contact page before it commits, with nothing promised here. Ambient scent is an interior and brand-experience decision, not a medical, clinical, diagnostic or air-treatment measure of any kind, and nothing on this page is medical advice; it sits alongside ventilation and housekeeping rather than in place of them. Consultation, treatment, procedure, imaging, laboratory, collection, day-care and changing rooms stay unscented at every branch, on an identical list signed by the group's clinical lead, and your own clinicians and each facility's policy decide what is appropriate — they outrank anything written here. There is no claim that ambient fragrance affects appointments, referrals, package uptake or any commercial number. Ask for a scenting plan and we will do the cubic-metre sum for every branch on your drawings.

A note from Sonal
A group with four sites — three across Coimbatore and one out in Tiruppur — asked me to make them all smell the same, and what they actually meant, once we had talked for an hour, was that they wanted a patient who used two of them to recognise the second one. Those are different requests. The first is answered by a number, which does not travel between buildings; the second is answered by a register and a boundary, both of which do.
The arithmetic made the point better than I could. Their smallest reception and their newest one differed by a factor of four in cubic metres, mostly because of a double-height void somebody had been very proud of. Run at the same setting, one branch would have been imperceptible and the other would have been the thing people mentioned. The identical thing had to be the character; the numbers had to be three different numbers written on one sheet.
And I told them what I will tell you: we have no multi-site programme, no bulk terms, no AMC, no warranty or installation commitments and no separately sold cold-air refill oil, so continuity is something to agree in writing before a chain commits rather than after. Make no claim that ambient fragrance affects appointments, referrals, package uptake or any commercial number either — there is none, in any building. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
Should every branch run at the same setting?
No — that is the mistake rather than the standard. A setting is a number attached to a volume, so two branches that differ by a factor of four in cubic metres must differ in their numbers in order to read the same to a patient. Calculate each site from its own area and ceiling height, commission it on site over a week, and record the figure on a single group sheet.
How do we stop four branches drifting apart over a year?
Lock every panel, keep the key with one named group owner, and write each site's setting and date on a label inside its panel cupboard. Branch managers refill and report; they do not adjust. Without that, four helpful people will each make a small correction on a slow afternoon, and within a year you will have four buildings and no identity.
Do you offer bulk pricing, an AMC or a multi-site contract?
No to all of it, and I would rather say so on the page. There is no bulk pricing, no minimum order quantity, no GST or contracting arrangement, no custom branding, no annual maintenance contract, no warranty terms and no published installation or lead-time commitment. A group question goes to our contact page and nothing is promised there in advance of a conversation.
Is there a refill oil we can standardise on across the branches?
There is no separately sold cold-air refill oil in the published range, and that is a real gap for a chain rather than an oversight I can talk around. If your group intends to standardise on one register across several sites, settle continuity of supply with us in writing before you commission the first branch — not after the fourth one is running.
We are fitting out a new branch — when should the standard be applied?
Before the fit-out finishes, while the socket positions and the ceiling details can still be moved, and while there is still a drawing to mark. Issue the register and the zero list to that site on day one, do the cubic-metre sum from the drawing, and commission it in the week before opening rather than in the month after, when nobody has time to walk the boundary rooms.
One branch only, and only if it is truly a concourse: the SOSA Angaan at ₹25,999 is rated to 3,000m³ and is designed to sit on air handling. It belongs at a flagship site with a large public floor of its own — never as a way of making one branch of a group stronger than the others.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the planning advice applies to any brand.
Facts verified 16 September 2026 against the live SOSA product pages: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, described by the manufacturer as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with a 400ml refillable tank lasting 90+ days depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and onboard button control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, operation under 38dB, DC 12V/1A at 5W (roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month on a ten-hour daily schedule), freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, auto-stop and key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification. Being waterless, it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces or equipment. The SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) is an HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft, with an 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules and operation under 42dB, and also runs standalone wall-mounted or lay-flat. The SOSA Meenar (₹38,500) is the largest machine in the range, quoted for roughly 12,000-18,000 sq ft of HVAC-connected space. Ambient scent is an interior and brand-experience decision: it works alongside proper ventilation, housekeeping and source control and is not a substitute for any of them. SOSA makes no claim that ambient fragrance affects sales, footfall, enquiries, order value, buyer decisions, contracts or any commercial outcome. SOSA makes no health, clinical, diagnostic or air-treatment claim of any kind, and nothing in this guide is medical advice; in any clinical or treatment setting the facility's own policy and its clinicians decide what is appropriate. CE, RoHS and SGS are electrical and compliance marks. SOSA makes no claim about the effect of ambient fragrance on any product, material, fabric, finish or stock held in a building; what can be stated is that the Vaayu is waterless, adds no moisture to the air and leaves no residue on surfaces. Coimbatore is named here as the location of the businesses these guides are written for; nothing in them is a claim about the city's climate, air or industry beyond what the reader can verify locally. The hotel-inspired scents are SOSA's own original interpretations; SOSA is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any hotel named for reference. Coverage, fragrance usage and running cost depend on the space, settings and hours of use, and are confirmed on a consultation. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
