Yes to one identity, and that identity is the register rather than the equipment. The mistake families make here is to buy the same machine three times in the name of consistency, which produces a showroom that is faint, an old office that is overwhelming and a head office that is about right.
Quick answers — read this first
Should all our premises use the same scent? The same register, yes, and it is one of the cheapest forms of consistency available to a multi-address company. The same specification, no. A register is a character — dry, woody, unsweet, for example — and it can be carried by a reed, by a Vaayu or by a larger machine depending on the building. What must differ is the hardware and the level, because those follow the volume of connected air in each place. One register, three specifications, is a single identity correctly executed.
How do we size three different buildings? By the volume of connected air in each, independently. An old office of two or three small rooms is reeds, one per room, and a machine there would be over-specified. A head office floor of roughly 1,500 sq ft and more of connected volume is one Vaayu, wall or HVAC mounted and key-locked. A customer showroom above roughly 3,000 sq ft, or with a double-height ceiling, needs the larger machine. Measure the air, not the floor area, and never let the importance of a building decide its specification.
Should the showroom smell stronger than the offices? Slightly, and that is about how people use the rooms rather than about importance. Intensity descends as you move inward: a showroom or reception carries the highest level because people arrive there and move through, meeting rooms lower because people sit for an hour, and private cabins lower still because somebody is in them all day. Set every level for the person who stays longest in that room, never for someone walking past, and if the staff in any of the three say it is too much, it is too much.
The short answer
Short answer: One register across all three, which is the identity, and three separate specifications, which follow the volume of connected air in each building. Buying the same machine for three different volumes gives you three different rooms rather than one identity. Intensity also descends from showroom to reception to meeting room to cabin.
The pick: The register first: SOSA Mountain Breeze at ₹849 carries it in the old office. One SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 on an HQ floor, and the Angaan at ₹25,999 for a genuinely large showroom.
Next step: Send the three floor plans with ceiling heights marked, and we will size each one separately. Ask for a Raipur scenting plan.
Buying the same machine three times is not consistency. It gives you a faint showroom, an overwhelming old office and one room that happens to be right.
Can three very different premises carry one scent identity without smelling wrong in two of them?
Yes, provided you are clear about what is being kept the same. The register is the identity. A register is a character rather than a product: dry, woody and unsweet, for instance, or clean and citrus. That character is what a person who visits your head office in the morning and your showroom in the afternoon actually recognises, and it is what makes three addresses feel like one company. It costs nothing extra to keep it consistent, and it is the single cheapest piece of brand consistency available to a business operating from more than one building. The specification is not the identity. This is where families go wrong, usually with the best intentions. Buying three identical machines in the name of consistency produces three different rooms, because the rooms hold different amounts of air. The old office — two or three small rooms with low ceilings and doors that stay shut — is reeds, one per room, and a machine in it would be heavy-handed and obvious. The head-office floor, if it is a genuinely connected volume of roughly 1,500 sq ft and more, is one Vaayu, wall or HVAC mounted, timed to office hours and key-locked. The customer showroom depends entirely on its ceiling: a double-height showroom holds far more air than its floor plan suggests, and above roughly 3,000 sq ft of volume it wants the larger machine rather than a second small one. Measure the air in each building separately and let nothing else decide, least of all which building matters most to you. And the levels differ too. Intensity descends as people settle: highest where people arrive and move through, lower where they sit for an hour, lower still in a cabin somebody occupies all day. Set each room for the person who stays longest in it. If staff in any of the three say a level is too much, it is too much, and that judgement outranks the plan. None of this is a matter of what visitors do — it is not a claim about that at all, only about keeping three rooms to one standard. To have the three sized properly, ask us for a Raipur scenting plan.
Keep the register identical across all three. Size the hardware separately for each, by the volume of connected air. That is one identity, correctly executed.
For a head-office floor of roughly 1,500 sq ft and more of connected volume, one SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999, wall or HVAC mounted, run window matched to office hours and the level key-locked so each building holds the level it was given.
The honest part of this page is that one of your three buildings almost certainly needs nothing but reeds. An old office of small rooms with doors that stay shut is ₹849 a room, and putting a machine there for the sake of symmetry would make it the strongest-smelling of the three, which is the opposite of what you want. Symmetry belongs in the register, not the invoice.
One per room, passive and silent, no power and nothing to schedule. In small rooms with doors that stay shut, this carries the register better than any machine would. 50ml ₹849, 130ml ₹1,349.
1000m³, roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft of connected volume. Waterless, wall or HVAC mounted, timers, adjustable intensity and a key-lock. Under 38dB and 5W. ₹11,999.
3,000m³, roughly 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft. Metal body, 800ml, programmable, under 42dB — for a showroom whose volume is genuinely beyond a Vaayu. ₹25,999.
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 400ml tank lasting roughly 75-90 days depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, under 38dB, 5W, freestanding or wall and HVAC mount, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.
Three decisions, taken separately for each address and then held together by one register.
1
Decide the register once
One character, carried by whatever hardware each building needs
Choose the register for the company rather than for the best building, and choose something that works in all three contexts. Dry, woody and unsweet is the safest choice for a group with an office, a head office and a customer showroom, because it does not date, it is not gendered and it reads correctly in a working room and a display room alike. A register chosen to flatter a new showroom will usually feel wrong in an old office, and one chosen for a traditional counter room will feel thin in a large glassy space. Pick the character that survives all three and then stop revisiting it; a register changed every second year is not an identity.
Tip: Choose the register in the building you like least. If it works there, it will work everywhere else you operate.
2
Size each building independently
Volume of connected air, and nothing else, decides the hardware
Take each address on its own. How many rooms are genuinely one volume, how high are the ceilings, do the doors stay open or shut, is any part double-height. An old office of three small closed rooms is three reeds, and it will smell better than a machine would. A connected head-office floor of roughly 1,500 sq ft and more is one Vaayu. A showroom above roughly 3,000 sq ft of volume, or a double-height display floor, is the larger machine rather than two small ones, because two units in one volume make competing gradients instead of combined coverage. Importance is not a sizing input, and neither is what the neighbouring building has.
Intensity descends as people settle, and it differs building to building
The showroom or reception carries the highest level, because people arrive there, move through and do not stay. Meeting rooms sit lower, because a visitor is there for an hour and a level that is pleasant for ninety seconds is tiring by minute forty. Private cabins go lower still, since somebody occupies them for nine hours a day. That descent is more important than making the three buildings match each other on a dial, and it is why one setting copied across all your premises is usually wrong in at least two of them. Judge each room full at its busiest hour, and treat any complaint from your own staff as decisive.
The SOSA principle
Buying the same machine for three different buildings is not consistency. It gives you a faint showroom, an overwhelming old office and one room that happens to be right.
Consistency lives in the register. The hardware and the level follow the volume of air in each building, independently.
The register, in reed form: Mountain Breeze — pine, sage and cedar. One per room in an old office with doors that stay shut. From ₹849.
The three addresses set out separately, which is the only way to specify them correctly.
The SOSA plan
One register, three specifications
The building
What it actually needs
An old office of small closed rooms
Reeds, one per room at ₹849. A machine here would make it the strongest-smelling of your three buildings.
A connected HQ floor, roughly 1,500 sq ft and up
One Vaayu at ₹11,999, wall or HVAC mounted, timed to office hours and key-locked at a low level.
A customer showroom, sized on its air
Above roughly 3,000 sq ft of volume, the Angaan at ₹25,999 rather than two smaller units in one space.
Levels across all three
Highest where people arrive and move through, lower where they sit for an hour, lowest in cabins occupied all day.
The multi-branch version of this question is answered in one consistent office scent across branches, and the question of whether a head office and premises near a plant should match is in head office and plant-side offices. SOSA is an independent Indian brand; the hotel-inspired scents are our own original interpretations, and no company named anywhere on this site is a SOSA customer or partner.
The head-office floor: Vaayu — 1000m³, waterless, wall or HVAC mounted, run windows and a key-locked level. ₹11,999.
Symmetry belongs in the register, not on the invoice. Three identical machines in three different volumes is the most expensive way to get three different rooms.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
Holding one level per building
Set once, locked, and judged with each room full at its busiest hour
One register across the group, and a specification chosen separately for each address by the volume of connected air it holds. In most groups at least one building needs reeds and nothing else. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A second unit belongs to a second volume of air — another floor, a separate wing, a block on its own air handling — and never to a second corner of the same room, because two units in one volume make competing gradients rather than combined coverage. Two further notes: there is no SOSA refill product for the Vaayu at present, so plan the fill into the purchase conversation for each site; and none of these goes into a godown, a warehouse, a storage area or a technical area, however much of the group's floor space those account for.

A note from Sonal
This question usually arrives as a consistency question and it is really a sizing question. Yes, keep one register everywhere — it is the cheapest brand consistency a multi-address company can have, and a person who visits your head office in the morning and your showroom in the afternoon will recognise it without ever being able to name it. But the hardware is not the identity, and treating it as one is how families end up with three rooms that smell nothing alike.
The old office is the one I would be most careful with. Small rooms with low ceilings and doors that stay shut hold very little air, and a machine in them is heavy-handed in a way everyone notices. Reeds carry the register there perfectly well, at ₹849 a room, and nobody visiting will think the building has been treated as second class. It has been treated correctly, which is a different and better thing.
Set each room's level for whoever stays longest in it, and let each building be judged on its own. This is an ambience decision and not a claim that it changes what anybody does in any of the three, nor anything therapeutic or medical, and it never covers a smell with a source. If staff at any site say the level is too much, they are right and the plan is wrong. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
Should our HQ, old office and showroom all use the same scent?
The same register, yes, because that is what a person recognises across three addresses and it is the cheapest consistency available to you. The same equipment, no. The hardware and the level follow the volume of connected air in each building, so one register carried by reeds in one place and a machine in another is a single identity correctly executed, not an inconsistency.
Is it wrong to put reeds in the old office and a machine in the HQ?
It is exactly right. An old office of small closed rooms with low ceilings holds very little air, and a machine there would make it the strongest-smelling of your three buildings. Reeds at Rs 849 a room carry the same register properly. Sizing follows volume, and matching invoices across buildings is not a form of consistency worth having.
How do we size a double-height showroom?
On its air rather than its floor area. A double-height showroom holds far more air than its plan suggests, so a room that looks like a Vaayu on paper may well be an Angaan in practice. Above roughly 3,000 sq ft of connected volume, use the larger machine rather than two smaller ones, because two units in one volume produce competing gradients instead of combined coverage.
Should the level be identical in all three buildings?
No. Intensity descends according to how long people stay. A showroom or reception, where people arrive and move through, carries the highest level. Meeting rooms sit lower, because a level that is pleasant for ninety seconds is tiring by minute forty. Cabins occupied all day go lower still. Judge each room full at its busiest hour and treat staff complaints as decisive.
Should the group's godown carry the register too?
No. We do not scent godowns, warehouses, storage or technical areas, and we would decline the work. If godown air reaches an office or a showroom, that is a source problem with a physical answer: a self-closing door, ideally a lobby, and the clean side kept slightly positive to the dirty side. Fix the route first, because fragrance over godown air smells of both.
A genuinely large showroom: Angaan — 3,000m³, roughly 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, metal body, programmable, under 42dB. ₹25,999.
SOSA — Clinic Scentingfor family groups operating from more than one address in Raipur
Reeds from ₹749 where rooms are small and closed, one Vaayu at ₹11,999 on a connected floor of roughly 1,500 sq ft and more, and the Angaan at ₹25,999 above roughly 3,000 sq ft of volume. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
