I sell both of these and I am asked to choose between them almost every week, so let me be direct. They are not two grades of the same product. A reed diffuser is passive: capillary action, evaporation, no power, nothing to clean, no way to control it beyond how many reeds you put in. The Sukoon is an appliance: ultrasonic misting, adjustable, timed, with a light. The reed gives you continuity and takes away control. The Sukoon gives you control and asks for maintenance in return.
For most bedrooms I recommend the reed, and I would start with Evening Calm at ₹799 with three sticks in it. It suits a room you are not in for most of the day, it suits a rented flat, and it suits anyone who does not want another thing to manage. But if you tell me you want an hour of soft scent and low light before bed and then nothing, I will point you straight at the Sukoon at ₹1,899, because no reed will ever do that.
