Luxury is one of the most abused words in home fragrance. I am Sonal Sahani, I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, and I want to give you a checklist for a luxury reed diffuser that survives contact with the actual bottle - not the marketing around it.

What makes a reed diffuser luxury? Formulation and honesty, not price tags. Look for an alcohol-free base, IFRA-standard fragrance, named materials, a trained perfumer behind it and the ability to refill rather than rebuy.
