Reviewing your own product is an awkward business, so I will do it the way I would want somebody else to do it: the specification line by line, what each number actually means in a house, the two things the machine genuinely cannot do, and the three kinds of buyer I would send away.
Quick answers — read this first
Is the SOSA Vaayu worth buying for a premium home? It is worth it if you want one fragrance held at a low level across a whole floor, every day, without anybody doing anything. The Vaayu is ₹11,999, is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³ or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, runs under 38dB at 5W - roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month at ten hours a day - and holds a 400ml tank that lasts up to about 75 days. It is not worth it for one room used occasionally, or where the real problem is a smell with a source.

What does the SOSA Vaayu not do? It does not purify air and makes no health claim, and it will not cover a smell that has a source - damp, an unlined bin, a dry drain trap, a musty wardrobe, pet odour or cooking all need cleaning, ventilation or time first. It is also not a per-room device: at 1000m³ coverage it is designed to hold a whole floor from one point, which is the wrong tool if you want a single room scented now and then.

How long does the SOSA Vaayu take to make a difference? Minutes to fill a floor at a moderate setting, and about a fortnight to settle into the right level. Set it low, live with it for two weeks and resist adjusting: your nose adapts to a familiar scent within days, so the level that seems faint to you is usually exactly right to somebody walking in. The Vaayu (₹11,999) has adjustable intensity and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers for exactly this reason.
The short answer
Short answer: worth it if you want one fragrance across a whole floor every day with no daily effort. The Vaayu is ₹11,999, waterless, rated to 1000m³ or about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, under 38dB, 5W - about 1.5 units of electricity a month at ten hours a day - with a 400ml tank lasting up to about 75 days. Not worth it for one room occasionally, or where a smell has a source.
The pick: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) per floor of air, set at the lowest intensity you can still notice on entry.
Next step: tell us your floor area and ceiling height and we will confirm whether one machine covers it before you spend - ask us what fits your home.
The Vaayu verdict - what it does, and what it does notDoes - one fragrance across 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ftDoes - holds a steady level and runs on a set scheduleDoes - stays dry and quiet: no water, no heat, under 38dB, 5WDoes not - purify air, or make any health claimDoes not - cover damp, a bin, a drain, a wardrobe or cooking
The fair way to judge any machine is by both columns. This one is very good at four things and genuinely incapable of two others, and knowing which is which before you buy is the difference between a good purchase and a returned one.

Straight answer
Is the SOSA Vaayu a sensible purchase for a premium home?
Yes, on one condition, and no on three. The condition first. Buy it if what you want is one fragrance, at a low level, across a whole floor, every day, with nobody doing anything. That is precisely what the machine is built for, and the specification follows from it. ₹11,999, once. Rated to 1000m³, described on the product page as about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, so one machine covers a typical apartment or one villa floor. Waterless cold-air nebulising: no water, no heat, so no dampness in the room, no residue on veneer, framed work, books or upholstery, and nothing to descale - in a premium home this is the specification line that matters most, because it is the one that decides whether the machine is safe to stand near anything you care about. Under 38dB, quieter than a fridge, so it can sit in a passage outside a bedroom. 5W, DC 12V/1A, roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month on a ten hour daily schedule. 400ml tank lasting up to about 75 days depending on intensity and hours, so roughly five fills a year, fewer days per fill if you run it harder or longer. 1h, 4h, 8h and 24h timers with adjustable intensity, by Bluetooth app or the buttons. 165 x 80.5 x 215mm at 0.9kg, freestanding, wall mounted or HVAC mounted. Auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India. Now the two honest limits: it is not an air purifier and makes no health claim, and it will not cover a smell that has a source - damp, an unlined bin, a dry drain trap, a musty wardrobe, pet odour or cooking all need dealing with first, and scent over the top gives you both at once. And the three buyers I would turn away. Three people should not buy this machine, and I would rather say so here than take the order. If you want one room lightly scented now and then, something small and cheap will serve you better. If the real problem is damp, a bin, a drain, a wardrobe or last night's cooking, fix the source - a machine will only give you both smells at once. And if you enjoy changing fragrance every fortnight, you will never get the thing a signature scent is actually for. SOSA's hotel-inspired fragrances are our own original interpretations of a style of scenting, composed in our own studio. SOSA is an independent Indian brand and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any hotel or hotel group. Ask us what fits your home; a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Worth it for a whole floor, every day, on a schedule. Not worth it for one room occasionally, for a smell with a source, or if you like changing fragrance often.

The specification, read honestly

Three specification lines do almost all the work in a premium home. Read them properly and the verdict follows.

1
1000m³, and what that means at home
A coverage figure is a promise about air, not about rooms
A 1,200 sq ft flat at a ten foot ceiling holds roughly 340 cubic metres of air. A 2,500 sq ft villa floor at eleven feet is around 780. Both sit inside the 1000m³ the Vaayu is rated for, which is why the honest answer for most homes is one machine and not three. What the number does not promise is equal intensity behind a closed bedroom door at the far end of a corridor - scent travels with air, and a shut door is a wall. Place it where air already moves and accept that a sealed room gets a softer version.
Tip: measure length by width by height in metres, then compare with 1000. Most homes are well under it.
SOSA Vaayu
1000m³ - about 2,000-3,000 sq ft - from a single point, which is why one machine is usually the answer.

2
Waterless, and why a premium home cares
No water, no heat, no dampness, no residue
This is the line I would read first if I were buying for a house with anything valuable in it. A mist-based diffuser adds humidity and can leave a fine film on nearby surfaces; in a home with veneer, solid wood, framed work, books and silk that is a genuine risk rather than a talking point, and in an Indian monsoon it is worse. Cold-air nebulising disperses pure oil dry. There is also no tank to descale, no filter to replace and nothing to wipe off the console. Practically, it means you can put the machine where it works best rather than where it will do least harm.

3
38dB, 5W and a key-lock
The unglamorous three that decide whether you keep it
Machines get returned or exiled to a cupboard for domestic reasons, not technical ones. Under 38dB is below a refrigerator's hum, which is what allows it to sit outside a bedroom rather than in a utility area where the scent is wasted. Five watts means nobody has an argument about the electricity bill. And a key-lock matters more than people expect in Indian households, where children and staff share the space: settings that anyone can change do not stay where you set them. Auto-stop covers the day somebody forgets to refill.
Tip: find your level in the first fortnight, then lock it and leave it alone.

Under 38dB, 5W, auto-stop and key-lock, CE, RoHS and SGS certified.

The SOSA principle
A machine is worth buying when its strengths match the job you have. This one is built for a floor, a schedule and a house full of things that must stay dry.
If your job is one room on a Sunday evening, it is a bad purchase at any price, and I would rather tell you now.
SOSA Vaayu
The verdict: Worth it for a whole floor every day. SOSA Vaayu, waterless, 1000m³ - about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. ₹11,999.

SOSA VaayuHold one fragrance across 2,000-3,000 sq ft, every day
Yes. This is what the 1000m³ rating and the 1h/4h/8h/24h timers exist for, at ₹11,999. View →

Yes. Waterless and heatless, so no added humidity and no residue, and nothing to descale. View →
Purify the air or make a health claim
No. It is a fragrance machine, not an air purifier, and we make no health claim of any kind.
Cover damp, a bin, a drain, a wardrobe or cooking
No. Fix the source first. Scent over an unclean smell gives you both at once, which is worse than either.

The verdict in full: worth buying if you want a whole floor to smell the same every day with no daily effort, and not worth buying otherwise. And whatever you decide, the order does not change - a home smells good because it is aired and clean first, then scented. Fragrance is not an air purifier and makes no health claim. SOSA's hotel-inspired fragrances are our own original interpretations of a style of scenting, composed in our own studio. SOSA is an independent Indian brand and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any hotel or hotel group. Ask us what fits your home and we will tell you honestly which side of the line you are on.

A note from Sonal

I am obviously not a neutral reviewer of my own machine, so the only useful thing I can offer is precision: exact numbers, and an equally exact account of what the machine cannot do. You can check every figure here against the product page, and I would rather you did.

What the Vaayu is genuinely good at is narrow and worth the money if it is what you need: one fragrance across 1000m³, about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, held at a steady low level, on a schedule, without water or heat, at under 38dB and 5W. A 400ml tank runs up to about 75 days, which is roughly five fills a year. If a house needs that, it is a good buy at ₹11,999. If it does not, no specification makes it one.

And the honest part. It is not an air purifier and we make no health claim. It cannot cover a smell with a source. Frequently asked questions

Is the SOSA Vaayu worth buying for a premium home?
It is worth it if you want one fragrance held at a low level across a whole floor, every day, without anybody doing anything. It is Rs 11,999, waterless, rated to 1000 cubic metres or about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, runs under 38dB at 5W which is roughly 1.5 units of electricity a month on a ten hour daily schedule, and holds a 400ml tank that lasts up to about 75 days. For one room used occasionally it is the wrong tool.
What does the SOSA Vaayu not do?
It does not purify air and makes no health claim, and it does not cover a smell that has a source. Damp, an unlined bin, a dry drain trap, a musty wardrobe, pet odour and cooking need cleaning, ventilation or time first. It is also not a per-room device: it is designed to hold a whole floor from one point.
How long does one tank last and what does it cost to run?
The 400ml tank lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, which is roughly five fills a year and fewer days per fill at higher settings or longer hours. Electricity is 5W, about 1.5 units a month on a ten hour daily schedule. We do not publish a monthly fragrance figure because it depends entirely on your settings.
Where should the Vaayu be placed in a home?
On the air path rather than in the centre of a room: near the entrance airflow, in the passage linking the main spaces, or on the return-air side of the air conditioning. It can stand freestanding, be wall mounted or be HVAC mounted, and at 165 by 80.5 by 215mm and 0.9kg it fits on a console without dominating it.
Who should not buy the SOSA Vaayu?
Three kinds of buyer should not. Someone who wants one room lightly scented occasionally is better served by something small and cheap. Someone whose real problem is damp, a bin, a drain, a musty wardrobe or cooking needs the source fixed, not a machine on top of it. And someone who likes changing fragrance every fortnight will never get the benefit of a signature scent, which is the whole point of running one continuously.
