When somebody like that asks me for a fragrance, the last thing they need is a composition with six ideas in it.
So the brief writes itself: one cool wood, a little green, nothing rounded. Hinoki or cypress if the timber is pale, cedar if there is walnut or black steel in the room, green tea to lift it, and a mineral thread underneath. Then set the machine as low as it goes and check it from the doorway.
