There is a tell to most client gifts, and clients can spot it in a second: the logo. A printed mug, a branded diary, a bottle with the company name across it — these read as marketing, not thanks, and they tend to end up in a cupboard or handed to a driver. The gifts that actually strengthen a relationship look like something you chose, not something you ordered by the hundred. Fragrance is the easiest way to give exactly that.
For most clients: an unbranded fragrance hamper — a reed diffuser (from ₹799), a candle (₹599) and a Hotel Collection scent (from ₹299).
For a personal touch: the Nawaab attar (from ₹399) or Attar Trio (from ₹1,055).
For a top client: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) for their space.
The instruction I give when a company asks me to help with client gifting is simple: keep your logo off the gift and onto the card. Let the object be beautiful and unbranded, and let the note do the relationship work. Fragrance fits this perfectly because a good reed diffuser or attar already looks like something from a considered home, not a marketing budget. Two directions cover almost every client.
Garden Bloom reedfrom ₹799
A fragrance hamper is the cleanest unbranded client gift. A reed diffuser (British rose and night-blooming jasmine; from ₹799), an Amber Rose candle (₹599) and a Hotel Collection scent (from ₹299) in a plain linen or wooden box comes to around ₹1,400 and looks like a gift from a good boutique, not a supplier. Clients take it home; it scents their living room for weeks; your brand is remembered through the quality of the gesture. For a slightly higher tier, a reed duo (from ₹1,598) does the same with two scents.
SOSA Vaayu₹11,999
For the account you cannot afford to lose, the SOSA Vaayu is the gift that keeps working. It is a waterless cold-air machine — up to 1000 m³, Bluetooth app, timer, under 38 dB — that gives their reception or cabin one consistent signature scent, scheduled to be on before their own clients walk in. It is entirely unbranded, so it becomes part of their space, not an advertisement for yours. Because it nebulises waterlessly, it adds no humidity, which matters if it runs all day in a coastal-city office. If you want a more personal version, gift the client themselves a Nawaab attar in its 12ml size.
| Relationship | Gift | From |
|---|---|---|
| Newer / wider list | Candle or Hotel Collection | ₹299–599 |
| Valued clients | Reed + candle + scent hamper | ~₹1,400 |
| A personal gesture | Nawaab attar or Attar Trio | ₹399–1,055 |
| Senior clients | Sukoon + scent, or a reed duo | ₹1,598–2,100 |
| Top accounts | SOSA Vaayu for their space | ₹11,999 |
Two honest caveats. First, unbranded does not mean anonymous — always include a handwritten or well-designed card, or the gesture loses its author. Second, scent is personal, so for a wide list a candle or a widely liked reed (rose-jasmine, or a clean citrus) is safer than an unusual fragrance; save the distinctive attars for clients whose taste you know. Done this way, a fragrance gift is the rare client present that is genuinely kept and used — and a portion of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali, which is a graceful line for the card.
