This is the part that decides everything and almost nobody measures it. Multiply length by width by height. A 6 by 4 foot bathroom at 10 feet is roughly 20 cubic metres of air. An open living-dining space of 20 by 30 feet at the same height is around 170 cubic metres, and a double-height room doubles that again. Same reed, same output, eight or ten times the air to fill, so about a tenth of the concentration in the air you are actually breathing.
