What do I get at each price tier? Entry (~₹799): small tank, USB, night light, a few hours. Mid (~₹1799): bigger tank, all-night runtime, remote, timers, mood light. Premium (~₹3499): a multi-litre tank, days of runtime, humidifier-grade output for big rooms.
Does the price include fragrance? With SOSA, yes. Every diffuser - Boond, Sukoon and Megh - ships with three water-based Hotel Collection fragrances, so there is no hidden extra to start using it.
What each price tier buys
Price for a home diffuser tracks three things: how big the tank is, how long it runs, and how many comfort features it adds. Here is the honest map, using our own three as the reference points.
Mid tier - around ₹1799. This is where a diffuser becomes a proper bedroom appliance. The Sukoon holds 500ml, runs 16 to 18 hours, adds a remote with 2H and 4H timers, a 7-colour LED that doubles as a night light, and safety touches like overheat protection and BPA-free construction. It was ₹2000 and is currently ₹1799. For most homes this is the sweet spot.
Premium home tier - around ₹3499. Here you are buying capacity. The Megh has a 6-litre tank, runs up to 100 hours, offers an adjustable mist dial and works as a whole-room humidifier at around 35 dB. It was ₹4000 and is currently ₹3499. This is the tier for a big living room or bone-dry AC and winter air.
Notice what does not change across the tiers: all three are cool mist with no heating element, all have auto shut-off, and all are built for the same water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. You are not buying "better mist" at the top - you are buying more tank, more runtime and more features.
Reading value honestly
A higher price is not automatically better value. Better value is the right tier for your room. Overspend on a 6-litre unit for a bedside and you have wasted money; underspend on a desk unit for a hall and you will be refilling it all evening.
| Tier | SOSA unit | Best for | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ~₹799 | Boond (300ml) | Desk, bedside, hostel | 3 fragrances |
| ~₹1799 | Sukoon (500ml) | Bedroom, study, nursery | 3 fragrances |
| ~₹3499 | Megh (6L) | Living room, dry AC / winter | 3 fragrances |
Reality: a ₹799 desk unit is excellent at its job and hopeless at a hall's. Value is fit, not the lowest sticker. Buy the tier your room actually needs.
One last honest note on what your money buys: a diffuser scents and lightly humidifies a room. It is not an air purifier at any price. Spend on the right tank for your room, use the water-based fragrance, and a good home diffuser is one of the best-value pleasures you can add to a house.

Versailles
I trained as a perfumer at ISIPCA in Versailles, but half the questions we get are not about scent at all - they are about the machine. Indian rooms are bone-dry from AC and winter, and most gadget diffusers are too small, too loud, or quit by midnight. So we made three: Boond (300ml, desk), Sukoon (500ml, bedroom, with a remote and mood light) and Megh (6L, whole-room), each shipping with three of our fragrances.
They are cool-mist ultrasonic diffusers - an ultrasonic plate turns water into a fine, cool mist with no heating element, so there is no boiling water or burn risk, and each has an auto shut-off when the tank runs dry.
One thing I say on every listing and will say here: use only SOSA's water-based Hotel Collection fragrance. Raw essential oils, perfumes and carrier oils are thick or solvent-heavy and can clog the misting plate and damage the unit. A few drops of our water-based fragrance in the tank mists cleanly and scents the whole room.
