Eight lines. Send them and you get a quotation; send fewer and you get a conversation that costs days. Each of the eight moves the number, which is why none of them can be assumed and why a price cannot honestly be given without them.
Quick answers — read this first
What information is needed to quote a bulk fragrance order? Eight lines: quantity, budget band per unit, product if known, branding level, number of distinct artworks, number of destinations, the date the gifts must be in hand, and whether a pre-production sample is required.
Why can a price not be given from a quantity alone? Because quantity is only one of the variables. Branding rung, artwork count, packaging format, personalisation and destination count all move the total materially, and a number given without them would be a guess presented as a quotation.
What is the most commonly omitted line in a bulk enquiry? The number of distinct artworks. Setup is incurred per design rather than per order, so a total quantity that clears a threshold can fall short once colourways, languages or sub-brand variants are counted.
The short answer
Short answer: Eight lines: quantity, budget band, product, branding level, artwork count, destinations, in-hand date, and sample requirement. Each moves the number, which is why a quantity alone cannot be priced honestly.
The pick: the SOSA Safar (₹3,999) as the flagship delivery gift; volume gifts from ₹299; reed diffusers from ₹749; the Vaayu (₹11,999) for your own premises.
Planning volumes? WhatsApp +91 96192 18531 - tell us the customer moment, per-unit band and quantity and we will quote and build the programme.
A customer gift works when it survives the drive home - sweets vanish in a day and keychains join a drawer, but a fragrance is used daily in the customer's own car or living room, replaying your brand at every use. The method: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, brand the gesture with your card, pilot and scale. This guide walks the exact play, with real SOSA options at every band.
What information do you need to quote a bulk order?
Eight lines. One: quantity. Two: budget band per unit, even approximately - it narrows the range faster than anything else. Three: the product, if you have a view: a Hotel Collection blend (from ₹299), a 3ml attar (₹379 to 399) in Adaa or Nawaab, Beast solid perfume (₹549), the Boond ultrasonic (₹799), Garden Bloom or Evening Calm reeds (₹749 to 799), the attar trio (from ₹1,055), SOSA Safar (₹3,999), SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999). If you do not have a view, say who the recipients are instead and we will propose. Four: branding level - none, a printed card, a sleeve, printing on the box, or a custom outer. Five: the number of distinct artworks, which is the line buyers omit most often and which changes the arithmetic most sharply, because setup is incurred per design rather than per order. Six: the number of destinations, because destination count steps the cost rather than scaling it. Seven: the date the gifts must be in hand - not the event date, which is usually later and which is the source of a specific and avoidable failure. Eight: whether a pre-production sample is required, so its week sits inside the timeline rather than being added to it. That is the whole list. Send those eight and a quotation comes back against them. Send a quantity and a request for best rates, and what comes back is a set of questions, which costs three or four days that nobody planned for and which is usually the first slippage in a programme. It is worth being direct about why a number cannot honestly be given from a quantity alone: only the product layer is linear. Branding is fixed setup divided by quantity. Artwork count multiplies that setup. Personalisation buys handling rather than printing. Destination count steps with receiving events. Two orders for the same quantity of the same product can differ substantially on the invoice on those variables alone, so any figure offered before they are known would be a guess dressed as a quotation - and a buyer who plans against it discovers the difference at costing. Two things you can expect back: pricing quoted against your specification, and an honest no where the date cannot be met with the product. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Send the eight lines to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Quick answer: quantity, budget band, product, branding level, artwork count, destinations, in-hand date, sample requirement. Eight lines produce a quotation; a quantity alone produces four days of questions.

Eight lines, and why each one moves the number
A bulk gifting quotation needs eight pieces of information, and sending them in the first message is the single most effective thing a buyer can do to make a programme run smoothly. It is worth setting out both what they are and why each one is genuinely required, because the request can otherwise look like a supplier making a simple question complicated. The first is quantity, which is obvious and which almost every enquiry contains. The second is the budget band per unit, even approximately. This is the fastest way to narrow a range that otherwise spans from a few hundred rupees to several thousand, and buyers sometimes withhold it in the belief that stating a budget invites a quotation that consumes all of it. In practice the opposite happens: without a band, the proposal that comes back is either too expensive to consider or too modest to impress, and a round trip is wasted. The third is the product, if the buyer already has a view. If they do not, saying who the recipients are is just as useful, because a recommendation can be made from that - employees across several sites, clients a senior person knows by name, dealers across states and wedding guests all point in different directions. The fourth is the branding level: none, a printed card, a sleeve, printing on the box, or a custom outer. Each of these introduces a different quantity of fixed setup, and the difference between the top and bottom of that ladder is substantial on a per-unit basis at anything under a few hundred units. The fifth is the number of distinct artworks, and it is the line buyers omit most often while it is one of the two that changes the arithmetic most sharply. Setup is incurred per design rather than per order, so two colourways, an English and a regional-language version, or three business units each wanting their own sub-brand are two or three setups even on a single purchase order at a single total quantity. A nine-hundred-unit order across eight artworks has the per-unit economics of eight small orders, and a buyer who compares a quotation against an expectation formed without this in mind will find the two impossible to reconcile. The sixth is the number of destinations, and it matters because destination cost steps rather than scales. Each site is a delivery, a receiving contact, a storage arrangement and a distribution event, and those exist whether ten units or a thousand go there. Two identical orders can differ materially in total because one ships to a warehouse and the other to nineteen offices in eleven cities. The seventh is the date the goods must be in hand, and the phrasing is deliberate. This is not the event date. Gifts have to be received, inspected, stored and staged, and on multi-site programmes redistributed internally, before an event happens. A consignment that arrives two days before the event has met the event date and missed the operational one, and that failure is recorded by everybody except the paperwork. Where the two dates differ, stating both is better than stating either. The eighth is whether a pre-production sample is required, which determines whether a week sits inside the timeline or is added to the front of it. On branded or large orders a sample is strongly advisable, and knowing at enquiry stage allows it to be planned rather than squeezed. Behind all eight sits one structural fact worth stating plainly, because it explains why this list exists rather than a price sheet: only the product layer of a bulk order is linear. Branding is fixed setup divided by quantity. Artwork count multiplies that setup. Personalisation purchases handling rather than printing. Destination count steps with receiving events. Any number offered before those are known would be a guess presented as a quotation, and the buyer who plans a programme against such a number finds out at costing rather than at enquiry, which is the worse of the two moments. What a buyer should expect in return is equally specific: pricing quoted against the stated specification rather than a headline that moves later, and an honest no where a named date cannot be met with a named product, accompanied by an alternative that works.
Why this works
The eight lines
The flagship delivery gift: the SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 - a rechargeable waterless car diffuser with three hotel-inspired scents in the box. Per-unit gifts from ₹299; volume pricing on WhatsApp.
Because only the product layer of a bulk order is linear
Branding is setup divided by quantity, artwork count multiplies that setup, personalisation buys handling, and destinations step with receiving events. A number offered before those are known is a guess in a quotation's clothing.
Tip: A quantity plus best rates costs four days of questions.
02
Two lines buyers always omit
Artwork count, and the in-hand date
Setup is per design, so eight artworks on one purchase order is eight setups. And the in-hand date is not the event date - gifts must be received, inspected, stored and staged first, and on multi-site programmes redistributed.
03
State the budget band
Withholding it wastes a round trip, not the supplier's margin
Without a band the proposal comes back either too expensive to consider or too modest to impress. And if you have no product view, say who the recipients are instead - that is enough to propose from.
Tip: Expect pricing against your specification, and an honest no on dates.
The SOSA principle
Eight lines produce a quotation because only the product layer of a bulk order is linear - branding, artwork count, personalisation and destinations each move the total in a way no price list could capture.
The two most often omitted are the artwork count and the in-hand date.

The SOSA business gifting edit
Whatever your business gifts, the logic is the same: gift the milestone moment, set the per-unit band by customer value, keep the register gentle and crowd-safe, and brand the gesture with your card rather than your logo on the product. Every SOSA fragrance is alcohol-free and made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so every customer gift quietly gives twice. Here is the full business range by per-unit band.
The SOSA business gifting edit
Every per-unit band covered - ₹299 volume gifts to the ₹11,999 space machine
Waterless cold-air scent machine to ~1000m³ with app + timer - scent the space customers walk into

Honest notes for business gifters: customer taste varies, so volume programmes should run gentle, crowd-tested registers - fresh, clean and lightly floral scents are received well across every profile, and space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) avoid the personal-taste risk of skin perfume entirely. Listed prices are per-unit store prices; volume pricing, pilot batches, branded cards and custom hamper builds are quoted on WhatsApp - and signature-scent development for your brand is a consultation with our perfumer, not an off-the-shelf item, so timelines are discussed case by case. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with any hotel brand. Ultrasonic diffusers use the water-based Hotel Collection fragrance; reed diffusers use their own alcohol-free reed oil - the two are not interchangeable. All personal fragrances are alcohol-free and IFRA-compliant. WhatsApp bulk desk: +91 96192 18531. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.
And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.
Frequently asked questions
What information do you need to quote a bulk order?
Eight lines: quantity, budget band per unit, product if known, branding level, number of distinct artworks, number of destinations, the date the gifts must be in hand, and whether a pre-production sample is required.
Why can you not quote from a quantity alone?
Because only the product layer is linear. Branding is fixed setup divided by quantity, artwork count multiplies that setup, personalisation buys handling, and destinations step with receiving events.
Which line do buyers most often omit?
The number of distinct artworks. Setup is incurred per design rather than per order, so a total that clears a threshold can fall short once colourways, languages or sub-brand variants are counted.
Why ask for the in-hand date rather than the event date?
Because gifts must be received, inspected, stored and staged before an event, and redistributed internally on multi-site programmes. A consignment arriving two days before an event meets the paperwork and misses the operation.
Should the budget be disclosed?
Yes. Without a band the proposal comes back either too expensive to consider or too modest to impress, and a round trip is wasted. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer).
