The scents: seven hotel-inspired compositions — The Ritz-Carlton-inspired, Westin-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired, The St. Regis-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and W Hotels-inspired. 15ml ₹299 · 100ml ₹999 · 300ml ₹1,799 · all seven ₹1,799.
The smaller machine: the Boond ₹899 — 300ml, up to ~150 sq ft, ~6 hours, USB, colour night light, also with a three-scent set included.
The machine people misread: the Megh ₹3,499 — a 6 litre tank and ~100 hours of runtime, but only 215 sq ft of coverage. A runtime and humidity machine, never a coverage upgrade on the Sukoon.
The constraints, all of them: the oils are water-based and ultrasonic-only — they cannot go into a reed diffuser and reed oil cannot go into a machine. There is no hotel-inspired reed diffuser. A 15ml at ₹299 is a refill and never a standalone gift. The machine needs a socket, water and topping up. There is no gift card, no verified gift wrap, gift note or personalisation, no gift hamper, no corporate or bulk programme and no room spray — every SOSA spray is a car perfume. SOSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any hotel brand.
2. The fragrance is included, which is what makes it a gift rather than a component. It ships with three 15ml Hotel Collection scents. That is the single most important line in this guide: a machine given without scents transfers a shopping task to the recipient, and a fragrance given without a machine is unusable. This gift is complete on arrival in both directions.
3. The scents: seven inspired-by compositions, water-based, ultrasonic-only. The Ritz-Carlton-inspired, Westin-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired, The St. Regis-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and W Hotels-inspired. Sold at 15ml ₹299, 100ml ₹999, 300ml ₹1,799 and a pack of all seven at ₹1,799. Every one is SOSA’s own interpretation; SOSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any hotel brand, and none of these is ever claimed to be a hotel’s actual fragrance.
4. What it costs to keep going. I am not going to invent a rupee-per-day figure for a machine, because it depends entirely on how many drops go into a tank and how many hours it runs — anyone quoting one precisely is guessing. What I can give you is the shape: the three 15ml bottles in the box start it, the 100ml at ₹999 is the sensible top-up, the 300ml at ₹1,799 is for a household that has settled on one favourite, and the pack of seven at ₹1,799 is for one that wants the whole range. For comparison, a 50ml reed works out at roughly ₹13–₹15 a day over its 6–8 weeks, and that figure we do know.
5. The honest limits. It needs a socket, water and topping up, roughly daily if it runs all day, plus an occasional rinse of the tank. Its 270–320 sq ft is one good room, not a flat. The oils go into ultrasonic machines only — there is no hotel-inspired reed diffuser — and a 15ml at ₹299 is a refill, never a standalone gift. There is no gift card, no verified gift wrap or gift note, no hamper and no corporate programme.
Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, IFRA-compliant, composed in Pune. Free shipping above ₹499, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The three parts of this gift — the machine, the scents, and what it takes to keep it running
Everything worth knowing about this gift falls into three groups, and the reason so many buyers get it slightly wrong is that they research one group and assume the other two. Somebody reads the coverage figure and never learns that the oils are ultrasonic-only. Somebody buys a beautiful oil for a household with no machine. Somebody buys the largest machine we sell and discovers it covers less floor than the mid-sized one. All three of those mistakes are avoidable in about four minutes, which is what this section is for.
Sukoon₹1,899Ultrasonic means a fine cool mist raised by vibration rather than heat, so nothing is warmed and nothing is burned — which matters in a week when a house is full of people and lamps. The three numbers to hold on to are the 500ml tank, the 270–320 sq ft of coverage and the 16–18 hours on low. Coverage tells you whether it can hold the space; in most Indian flats 270–320 sq ft is a hall plus a living room, or one large open-plan end, and it is one good room rather than a whole home. Runtime tells you how often somebody thinks about it, and 16–18 hours means about one fill a day for a household that runs it through the day. And it arrives with three 15ml Hotel Collection scents, which is the detail that turns it from equipment into a present.
Hotel Collection₹999Seven compositions: The Ritz-Carlton-inspired, Westin-inspired, 1 Hotels-inspired, The St. Regis-inspired, Shangri-La-inspired, Four Seasons-inspired and W Hotels-inspired. Two of them I can describe from our own composition notes — the Ritz-Carlton-inspired Quiet Luxury (white tea, bergamot, cedar) and the Westin-inspired White Tea Serenity (white tea, aloe, cedar); for the rest I would rather point you at the product page than paraphrase a composition from memory on a page that will sit online for years. The whole family sits in the transparent register — white tea, tea-greens, soft citrus, quiet cedar — because that is genuinely how large public spaces are scented. Sizes: 15ml ₹299, 100ml ₹999, 300ml ₹1,799, pack of seven ₹1,799.
Boond₹899Water in the tank, a few drops of oil, low setting, and it runs. The three 15mls in the box carry a household through the first stretch; after that, the 100ml at ₹999 is the sensible top-up, the 300ml at ₹1,799 is for somebody who has decided on a favourite, and the pack of seven at ₹1,799 is for somebody who wants to move between them. What I will not do is quote a rupee-per-day figure for the machine: it depends on drop count and running hours, both of which vary enormously between households, and a precise number there would be a fiction. Where we do have a real figure is on the reed side, and it is roughly ₹13–₹15 a day for a 50ml over its 6–8 weeks. The other real cost is attention: a top-up roughly daily, and an occasional rinse of the tank.
Where this gift sits, and what the other machines are actually for
The Sukoon occupies the substantial rung of the Diwali gift ladder — the same band as a two-bottle reed duo at ₹1,498–₹1,598 or a 12ml attar at ₹1,149–₹1,199 — which is the register for parents, siblings, in-laws, a spouse or a close friend. It is unusually strong in that band for a reason worth stating plainly: most gifts at ₹1,899 are one thing, and this is two. The recipient opens an object with a specification, and inside it there is already fragrance. That combination is why it consistently reads as more than its price, and it is the commercial heart of this whole family.
Below it, the Boond at ₹899 is the same idea in miniature and the right answer for a small room, a bedside, a desk, a bathroom or somebody’s first machine: 300ml, up to about 150 sq ft, roughly six hours, USB power, a colour night light, and a three-scent Hotel Collection set in the box. Two machines in a flat — a Sukoon at the threshold and a Boond behind a bedroom door — is a coherent build and a genuinely generous pair of gifts.
Above it, be careful, because this is where the range is most often misread. The Megh at ₹3,499 is not a bigger Sukoon. It has a 6 litre tank and about 100 hours of runtime, which is remarkable, and its coverage is 215 sq ft — less than the Sukoon’s 270–320. It is a runtime and humidity machine, built for a room that must run for days without attention or a dry winter bedroom that wants moisture in the air. It is never a coverage upgrade and I would rather lose the sale than have somebody buy it for a large living room. For a space that genuinely needs more, the technology changes entirely: the Vaayu at ₹11,999 is waterless cold-air nebulising, rated at 1000 m³ with a Bluetooth app and timer, and built for villas, hotel receptions, showrooms, clinics and offices. That 1000 m³ is a figure for closed air volume in cubic metres and should never be converted into square feet — the rule across this range is that you pay for air volume, not floor area. Beyond that sit the commercial HVAC machines, Aangan ₹25,999 at roughly 8,000–10,000 sq ft and Meenar ₹38,500 at 12,000–18,000. And the Safar ₹3,999 is named here only so nobody buys it for a hallway: it is a waterless, cordless, rechargeable diffuser for a car.
Every machine and every oil size, in one table
The complete picture, with the two numbers that decide each machine and an honest note on every row. The last two rows are the formats that are not this gift, included because knowing what to buy instead is half of a buying guide.

The honest limits, in full — everything this gift is not
Every page in this family names the gaps, and as the guide the others point at, this one should hold all of them together. First, the upkeep. The Sukoon needs a mains socket, water in the tank, a top-up roughly once a day if it runs all day, and an occasional rinse because standing water is standing water. The Boond is USB but its 300ml tank needs filling more often. None of this is difficult and all of it is real, and for a recipient who wants a home that looks after itself it is a genuine reason to buy a reed instead.
Second, coverage. 270–320 sq ft is one good room. It is not a flat, and no setting will make it one. If two rooms need scenting, that is two machines — a Sukoon and a Boond ₹899 — or a machine plus a reed. And the Megh, despite costing ₹3,499 and holding six litres, covers 215 sq ft: it buys runtime and winter humidity, never floor area.
Third, the chemistry, which is the constraint that defines this whole family. The Hotel Collection oils are water-based and ultrasonic-only. They cannot go into a reed diffuser, and reed diffuser oil cannot go into an ultrasonic machine — the two systems are not interchangeable in either direction. There is no hotel-inspired reed diffuser at SOSA and there is no way to make one from what exists. A reader who wants that smell needs a machine; a reader who wants no machine needs to accept a SOSA reed composition instead, which is a fine thing but a different thing. And a 15ml at ₹299 is a refill, never a standalone gift.
Fourth, everything the shop does not do. There is no gift card, so there is no way to defer a decision to the recipient. There is no verified gift wrap, gift note or personalisation — plan the presentation yourself. There is no gift hamper, gift box or curated gift set; a reed duo at ₹1,498–₹1,598 is the nearest thing and it is a two-bottle product, not a hamper. There is no corporate or bulk programme, bulk rate or custom branding. There is no room spray or home spray at all — every SOSA spray is a car perfume. And no reed diffuser appears in any existing gifting collection, which is why every link on this page goes to an individual product page. Free shipping above ₹499 is the only logistics fact I will state.
Fifth, and most important: this is not always the right gift. A household mid-renovation with the windows open all day, a home with a newborn where the parents have chosen to add nothing to the air, somebody with a genuine aversion to fragrance, or a very light sleeper who has already given up on anything scented — for all of those, the honest answer is no machine and no reed either. And where the ritual is the point — a first visit to elders, a door at which a box of sweets is the greeting — mithai is simply the correct gift, and a diffuser handed over instead is an odd substitution. I sell home fragrance for a living and I still take sweets to certain doors.
The complete edit, in buying order — and the honest gap
The whole family in the order I would actually buy it, from the gift itself down to the alternatives, with the gaps set out at the end rather than left to be discovered at checkout.

Versailles
The Sukoon exists because of a question we kept being asked and could not properly answer for a long time: how do I get that hotel smell at home? The honest reply was always slightly awkward, because the answer is not a bottle. It is a machine, a water-based oil and a habit — and for years we could sell people the fragrance but not the thing that made it work.
Putting three 15ml scents inside the box was the decision that turned it into a gift. Before that, buyers were leaving with equipment and a small research project. Now the machine is opened, filled and switched on the same evening, and the person who gave it gets to watch the room change rather than explain what to order next. I would say the same about the Boond at ₹899, which does the same trick a size down.
What I will not do, on the page that the rest of this family points at, is round off the edges. The oils are water-based and ultrasonic-only; there is no hotel-inspired reed and there will not be one, because it is a chemistry constraint rather than a range decision. A 15ml at ₹299 is a refill. The Megh is a runtime machine and not a bigger Sukoon. There is no gift card, no wrap, no hamper and no corporate programme. And there are homes — mid-renovation, with a newborn, or belonging to somebody who simply does not want scent — where the right thing for me to say is that this is not the gift. Everything we make is composed in Pune, and a part of every order funds a girl’s classroom through Nanhi Kali.
