Why two in one room? A Sukoon covers 270–320 sq ft. An open-plan living-dining in a 4BHK is often 600–800 sq ft. One machine does part of it.
What about a Vaayu? ₹11,999, waterless, runs neat oil — and it cannot take the water-based Hotel Collection at all. It is only right if your public zone is one very large connected volume.
2. The public zone takes one machine — or two. This is the part that is new at 4BHK. A living room of 300 sq ft takes one Sukoon. A living, dining and entrance lobby that run together as a single 600–800 sq ft volume takes two, placed at opposite ends. That is not a failure of the machine; it is what a coverage rating means.
3. So: four to five, and ₹7,596 to ₹9,495. Four Sukoons is ₹7,596 and covers three bedrooms plus a split public zone, or four bedrooms plus a single-machine living room. Five is ₹9,495 and is full coverage of a large 4BHK.
4. A Vaayu is a different system, not a bigger machine. The Vaayu at ₹11,999 is waterless cold-air nebulising, rated to 1000 m³, with a Bluetooth app and timer. It runs neat oil and cannot take the water-based Hotel Collection. Buying one means changing what you put in your home, not just what sits on the console.
5. And it cannot reach the bedrooms anyway. A Vaayu is built for large connected open volume. Four closed bedroom doors are precisely the geometry it cannot serve. Even in the homes where a Vaayu makes sense, the bedrooms still take Sukoons — which is why the honest 4BHK answer is usually a fleet or a hybrid.

Why the count stops being a room tally at 4BHK
Every flat size before this one gave the same shape of answer: list the air spaces, delete the ones nobody occupies, buy a machine for each survivor. It worked because in a studio, a 1BHK, a 2BHK and even most 3BHKs, no single room outruns a Sukoon's 270–320 sq ft. A 4BHK breaks that quietly. The bedrooms are still well-behaved — a 140 sq ft child's room and a 220 sq ft master are both comfortably inside one machine's reach. It is the public zone that changes. In a flat of 1,800 to 2,500 sq ft, the living room, dining area and entrance lobby are often a single connected volume of 600 to 800 sq ft, and one diffuser in the middle of that covers a generous circle around itself and leaves the far end smelling of nothing.
This is where the commercial machine finally becomes a real question rather than a category error. At 2BHK and 3BHK, suggesting a Vaayu was absurd on price alone. Here the sums converge: five Sukoons is ₹9,495 and a Vaayu is ₹11,999, a gap of ₹2,504 — close enough that it deserves an argument rather than a dismissal. The argument, though, does not resolve on price. It resolves on two facts. The first is that the Vaayu is waterless, runs neat oil, and cannot use the water-based Hotel Collection at all — so the choice is not between two machines but between two fragrance systems. The second is geometry: a Vaayu is designed to fill large connected open volume, and a 4BHK's four shut bedroom doors are the one thing it cannot work around. For most 4BHKs the answer is therefore a fleet of Sukoons, or a hybrid with Sukoons still doing every bedroom.
The three decisions in a 4BHK

A 4BHK runs roughly 1,800–2,500 sq ft, but as ever you are counting air spaces rather than square feet. The one genuinely new line in this table is the public zone, which is the first room in this series that can legitimately need two machines. Coverage ratings assume a closed room without a strong draught.

Placement, drops and running five machines
Placement first, and the new problem is the big room. If your public zone takes two Sukoons, do not stand them near each other — put them at opposite ends of the connected volume, each roughly a metre off the floor on a console or sideboard, each towards the part of the room people actually sit in. In an L-shaped living-dining, one machine goes in each limb of the L; a single central machine at the corner looks logical and serves neither arm properly, because mist does not turn corners. Keep both out of the direct line of ceiling fans and split ACs, which push output to one wall rather than spreading it.
Drops next, and a fleet needs a lighter hand than a single machine. Three to six drops per tank is the general Hotel Collection guidance; across five machines run three to four in the bedrooms and four to five in the public zone. The reason is cumulative — in a big flat with internal doors open, the zones bleed into each other at the edges, and five machines each dosed generously produces a home that smells strong at every threshold. If a visitor comments on the fragrance before taking their shoes off, reduce every machine by a drop.
Then the schedule, which is where a fleet either works or becomes a chore. Do not run five machines continuously — you will get through fragrance four times faster than you expect and stop noticing any of it. Run the public zone in the evening, the bedrooms for the hour before their occupants go up, and use the 2H timer so nothing runs overnight. Stagger the start times by fifteen minutes rather than switching everything on at once; a flat that fills gradually reads as a scented home, one that fills all at once reads as a lobby. Use filtered water in hard-water cities, and never substitute raw essential or carrier oils.

People arrive at this question expecting me to try to sell them the expensive machine, and a 4BHK is the first home where I could do it with a straight face. I do not, and the reason is not modesty. It is that the Vaayu changes what goes into your home, not just what sits in it.
It is waterless. It nebulises neat oil, which is a completely different physical process from ultrasonic misting, and it means the entire water-based Hotel Collection — the seven scents I composed, the bottles you already own, the refills you have budgeted for — cannot go in it. That is not a limitation I mention in a footnote. In a 4BHK it is the decision. And then there is the shape of the flat: a Vaayu fills connected volume, and four bedroom doors are four walls it cannot cross.
So count your rooms, look honestly at whether your living-dining is one big space or two normal ones, and buy four or five Sukoons. ₹7,596 or ₹9,495, fifteen bottles of fragrance in the boxes, and a flat you can control room by room.
