Does BHK still settle the bottle count at four bedrooms? Yes. Four bedrooms and their bathrooms behind closed doors means eight to ten reed diffusers, regardless of whether it is a flat or a villa.
Why does the format matter so much? Because the machine serves connected air. A flat has one hall; a villa may have a living area running into dining and a stairwell, which is a much larger connected volume.
At 4BHK the label stops being enough on its own
For one, two and three bedrooms, the BHK label does almost all the work in this question, because BHK is a door count and doors are what fragrance actually cares about. At four bedrooms the label starts to run out, and it runs out in a specific and predictable way that is worth understanding rather than working around. What still holds exactly is the bottle count. A 4BHK means four bedrooms and, in most cases, three to five bathrooms, all behind closed doors that no machine crosses. Every one of those is a separate volume needing its own passive source, which puts the count at eight to ten reed diffusers - one per bathroom, one per bedroom at the lightest level in the home, one in a study if there is one, and one just inside the entrance. That number is identical whether the home is an apartment or a villa, because bottles serve rooms and the room count is what the label describes. So half the answer is settled by the label as reliably as ever, and it is the larger half by count. What no longer holds is the machine, and the reason is that a 4BHK can be two completely different buildings. Consider the first: a large 4BHK apartment. It might be 2,200 square feet, it might be beautifully finished, and it is still architecturally a hall with a passage and four bedrooms off it. The connected volume - the only thing a machine can serve - is the living-dining area, one room, possibly L-shaped. Extra bedrooms did not enlarge it; they were added alongside it. So the machine answer for a 4BHK flat is exactly what it was for a 2BHK: for most, another reed finishes it, and where you want the level to change with time, a Sukoon at Rs 1,799, or a Megh at Rs 3,499 with its 6L tank if the living-dining is genuinely substantial. This is the point people find counterintuitive, and it is worth stating plainly: a bigger flat does not create a bigger connected volume, it creates more rooms, and more rooms means more bottles rather than a bigger machine. Now the second building. A 4BHK villa or duplex may be arranged completely differently: a living area that runs into a dining hall with no door between them, a passage that is part of the same space, and a stairwell opening off it rather than being closed behind a door. That is a genuinely large connected volume, and it is the one architecture in which the largest machine does something no arrangement of bottles matches - serving the whole of it from a single point, with one fragrance, one schedule and one refill, and with nothing to fill before an evening or empty afterwards. There is also usually a second floor, which is a separate volume: if the upper level includes a family area where people actually sit, it takes its own small unit, and if it is bedrooms off a landing, a single reed on the landing covers it. So the test is architectural rather than numerical, and it takes ninety seconds. Walk the ground floor at an ordinary hour of an ordinary day, changing nothing about how the house currently lives, and count the closed doors between the living area, the dining area, the passage and the foot of the stairs. Zero closed doors means one large connected volume, and the Vaayu at Rs 11,999 qualifies. One usually means a partly open plan, where a Megh at Rs 3,499 is the sensible unit. Two or more means the home is compartmented, and a compartmented 4BHK does not qualify at any square footage - the physics is the same as in a 1,500 square foot flat, because a closed door is a hard boundary regardless of what the building costs. In that house, ten bottles beat any machine, and that is what we would recommend. Two constants regardless of format. Children's rooms get nothing at all, and at 4BHK there is often at least one. And the kitchen gets nothing at any time from anything, with extraction used every single time and the door shut being the actual answer, because cooking smell is aerosolised oil that travels and settles into soft furnishings in rooms far from the kitchen.
Add one word: flat, or villa
Add one word: flat, or villa. Settled by the label either way, eight to ten bottles: a reed diffuser in each bathroom, the best value anywhere in home fragrance; one in each bedroom at the lightest level in the home, from a source the occupant can move, cap or take out of the room without asking anybody; one in a study if there is one; and one just inside the entrance, the highest-value position of all - Morning Freshness at Rs 749, Garden Bloom at Rs 799, Evening Calm at Rs 799, Fresh Brew at Rs 849, Mountain Breeze at Rs 849, three to four months per bottle, refills at Rs 2,399 for 300ml and Rs 3,499 for 500ml, or the SOSA Boond at Rs 799 at the door. A 4BHK flat, which is one hall however large: another reed if a constant level is fine, or the SOSA Sukoon at Rs 1,799 if you want the level to build before you come home, or the SOSA Megh at Rs 3,499 with a 6L tank for a genuinely substantial living-dining. A 4BHK villa: run the closed-door walk at an ordinary hour, counting the doors between living, dining, passage and stair. Zero qualifies the SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999 - waterless with no tank, coverage up to 1,000 m², Bluetooth app and timer control. One means a partly open plan and the Megh. Two or more means compartmented, where no machine qualifies at any BHK and ten bottles beat any device. An upper floor: a Sukoon at Rs 1,799 if it has a family area people actually sit in, or a single reed on the landing if it is bedrooms only. Fragrance for machines: Hotel Collection at Rs 299 for 15ml, Rs 999 for 100ml and Rs 1,799 for 300ml, at three to six drops per tank, rinsing between scents; it is not reed diffuser oil and the two are not interchangeable. Never scented: children's rooms, of which a 4BHK often has at least one; the kitchen at any time, where extraction used every single time with the door shut is the answer; the dining area during a meal; and covered balconies and terraces. Everything is alcohol-free and made to IFRA-compliant standards.

Versailles
Most customer gifts are bought to be handed over, not to be kept: the sweet box is finished by the family that evening, the keychain joins a drawer, the branded pen was never really a gift at all. Then the moment that cost your business lakhs to create - the new car, the new home, the big purchase - is remembered with nothing. A fragrance gift keeps that moment alive, because scent is the sense wired closest to memory: months later, your customer is still in the middle of the experience you gave them.
I trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and everything we make is built for Indian lives - car diffusers that survive a Mumbai summer, reed diffusers that hold through the monsoon, alcohol-free formulas safe to gift across every customer profile. If you run a dealership, a project, a hotel, a showroom or a team, message the bulk desk on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 - tell me the customer moment and the volumes, and I will help you design the programme myself. The business conversations are my favourite kind: one good gifting programme teaches me more about a category than a year of retail orders.
And a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali - so your customer gift quietly gives twice. That equation has always felt right to me.
Frequently asked questions
Facts verified August 2026: Olfactory memory research shows scent-linked memories are unusually durable and emotionally vivid, which is why a used-daily fragrance gift sustains brand association in a way consumable or novelty gifts do not; customer-experience research consistently finds that peak moments (delivery, possession, checkout) disproportionately shape how the whole purchase is remembered. Fragrance preference is personal: volume gifting programmes should default to gentle fresh, green and lightly floral registers, and to space formats (diffusers, reeds, car fragrance) rather than skin perfume. SOSA range: Hotel Collection ultrasonic fragrance from Rs 299; car perfumes from Rs 449 (spray and hanging, alcohol-free); attars Nawaab, Ameeri, Mastani and Adaa from Rs 379 (3ml/6ml/12ml, alcohol-free); Attar Trio from Rs 1,055; perfumes from Rs 499; reed diffusers from Rs 749; Boond Rs 799, Sukoon Rs 1,799 and Megh Rs 3,499 ultrasonic diffusers; SOSA Safar waterless car and travel diffuser Rs 3,999 (rechargeable, three hotel-inspired scents included); SOSA Vaayu waterless scent machine Rs 11,999 (~1000m³, app + timer).
