The three registers that never read as feminine — and why that has nothing to do with men

I want to be careful here, because the lazy version of this page is the one that decides pine is masculine and jasmine is not, and that version is both untrue and useless as a buying guide. Fragrance materials have no sex. Reed, candle, machine, car or attar — four formats and the one job each does
