The four formats you will actually meet
Walk into any accessory shop and the wall of car fresheners sorts into four broad formats. Each behaves differently in a hot Indian cabin. I make two of them - spray and hanging - so I will tell you plainly where each format shines and where it struggles, including mine.
Spray (mist)
A pump bottle you mist into the cabin on demand. The big advantage is control - you decide exactly how much scent, and a fresh burst clears odours instantly. The risk is the formula: most cheap sprays are alcohol-heavy, which smells sharp in heat. SOSA's spray is alcohol-free, 10ml, around 100 sprays, strong throw. Hanging diffuser
A bottle or card that hangs from the mirror and releases scent slowly and continuously. The advantage is a gentle constant - you set it and forget it. The trade-off is you cannot dial it up quickly. SOSA's hanging diffuser is 12ml, refillable glass, mild throw, lasting 4 to 6 weeks.
Vent clip
