Quick answers — read this first
What area does one SOSA Vaayu cover in a car dealership? One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is rated to 1000m³, which the product page describes as about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. At a normal 10 to 12 ft ceiling that covers a showroom floor of up to roughly 3,000 sq ft as one connected volume. Two units cover 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft. Above that in a single volume, one SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) rated to 3,000m³ is the better answer.
What are the SOSA coverage bands for a large dealership? At a normal ceiling height and one connected volume: up to 3,000 sq ft is one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999); 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft is two Vaayu (₹23,998); 6,000 to 10,000 sq ft is one SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) at 3,000m³, which the manufacturer describes as an 8,000-10,000 sq ft machine. Any separately air-conditioned room is counted on its own regardless of size.
How long does a SOSA Vaayu tank last in a dealership? The 400ml tank lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, so on showroom trading hours at a medium setting a dealership refills roughly once a quarter per machine. The SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) holds 800ml, which is why a large site on one machine has a single refill point instead of three.
The short answer
Short answer: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) covers 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft; two cover 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft; and above that in one connected volume the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) covers 3,000m³, described by the manufacturer as 8,000-10,000 sq ft. Bands assume a 10 to 12 ft ceiling and are counted per separately cooled volume.
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) for volumes up to about 6,000 sq ft using one or two units, and the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) for a single connected volume above that.
Next step: tell us your floor area, ceiling height and number of cooled zones and we will confirm the band - book a free coverage plan.
The bands assume a normal 10 to 12 ft ceiling and one connected body of air. Taller volumes move up a band, and separately cooled rooms are always counted on their own.
What are the SOSA Vaayu coverage bands for a large car dealership?
Here is the table in prose, and then the assumptions that make it valid. One SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is rated to 1000m³, described on the product page as about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. One SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) is rated to 3,000m³, described as about 8,000-10,000 sq ft. From those two numbers the bands follow: up to 3,000 sq ft, one Vaayu; 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft, two Vaayu at ₹23,998, placed at opposite ends so their coverage overlaps in the middle; 6,000 to 8,000 sq ft in one connected volume, one Angaan, because three Vaayu would cost ₹35,997 against ₹25,999 and leave three maintenance points inside one body of air; 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft, one Angaan, which is the machine's own rated band. Now the three assumptions, because a coverage table without them is misleading. First, ceiling height. The bands assume a normal 10 to 12 ft showroom. At 16 ft, a floor moves up roughly one band; under a 20 ft glass frontage it moves up two. Always run length x width x height rather than trusting the square footage alone. Second, one connected volume. Every band describes a single body of air. A separately air-conditioned room is its own calculation whatever its size, so a 900 sq ft lounge on its own split needs its own machine even though the number looks trivial. Third, the ratings are the manufacturer's. They are what these machines are specified to do; real coverage depends on airflow, door-opening, occupancy and settings, which is what a consultation checks. The supporting numbers: the Vaayu holds 400ml and runs up to about 75 days, under 38dB, mounting freestanding, on a wall or to HVAC, with auto-stop and a key-lock, CE, RoHS and SGS certified; the Angaan holds 800ml, runs under 42dB with a metal body and programmable schedules. Fragrance works alongside ventilation and cleaning throughout. A free coverage plan will confirm your band.
One Vaayu to 3,000 sq ft, two to 6,000, one Angaan above that in a single volume. Bands assume a 10 to 12 ft ceiling and one connected body of air.
The machine every band is measured against is the SOSA Vaayu - 1000m³ at ₹11,999, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with a 400ml tank lasting up to 75 days, Bluetooth app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, operation under 38dB, three mounting options, auto-stop, key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification.
Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft. One unit to 3,000 sq ft, two to 6,000 sq ft at ₹23,998. 400ml tank up to 75 days, Bluetooth app with 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under 38dB, DC 12V/1A at 5W, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified.
Placed at the opposite end of the same connected volume from the first, on identical fragrance and intensity, so the two coverage areas overlap in the middle of the floor rather than leaving a gap there.
HVAC nebulising diffuser rated to 3,000m³, described by the manufacturer as about 8,000-10,000 sq ft. 800ml reservoir, metal body, programmable schedules, under 42dB. Connects to the building's HVAC, or runs standalone wall-mounted or lay-flat.
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 400ml refillable tank lasting up to 75 days, Bluetooth app plus onboard buttons, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, under 38dB, DC 12V/1A at 5W, 165 x 80.5 x 215mm at 0.9kg, freestanding, wall or HVAC mount, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India.
Three sets of reference numbers sit behind the bands: the ratings themselves, the height corrections, and the running figures that decide how often anyone touches the machines.
1
The ratings
1000m³ and 3,000m³, and what they mean in square feet
The Vaayu is rated to 1000m³, which the product page describes as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft. The Angaan is rated to 3,000m³, described as roughly 8,000-10,000 sq ft. Those square-foot figures already assume a normal showroom ceiling, which is why the same machine covers 3,000 sq ft in one building and 2,000 sq ft in another. When in doubt, work in cubic metres and treat the square-foot descriptions as shorthand rather than as the specification.
Tip: quote coverage in cubic metres internally. Square feet is a summary, not a number.
The Vaayu at 1000m³ and ₹11,999 is the unit every band in this guide is built from.
A 5,000 sq ft floor holds about 1,417m³ at 10 ft, 1,983m³ at 14 ft, 2,267m³ at 16 ft and 2,833m³ at 20 ft. The floor plan has not changed at all - only the section has. As a working correction, a floor at 16 ft moves up one band from the table and a floor under a full 20 ft glass frontage moves up two. If the showroom steps up under the frontage, split it into a tall volume and a normal one and size each separately rather than averaging.
The Angaan at 3,000m³ is where most height-corrected large floors land, ₹25,999.
The Vaayu holds 400ml and runs up to about 75 days depending on intensity and hours, which on trading hours at a medium setting is roughly a quarterly refill per machine. It runs under 38dB, draws DC 12V at 5W, measures 165 x 80.5 x 215mm at 0.9kg, and carries CE, RoHS and SGS certification with auto-stop and a key-lock for public floors. The Angaan holds 800ml, runs under 42dB and has a metal body suited to a plant room. Those figures are what a facilities team will actually ask you for.
Tip: one refill point per machine, roughly once a quarter. Count them at the specification stage.
The Vaayu is waterless, under 38dB and key-locked, which is what makes it usable on a public showroom floor.
A coverage table without its assumptions written next to it is the fastest way to specify the wrong machine confidently.
Every band on this page assumes a normal ceiling and one connected body of air. Change either and the band changes.
The band above 6,000 sq ft: SOSA Angaan covers 3,000m³ - described by the manufacturer as about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - on the building's HVAC, with an 800ml reservoir and programmable schedules. ₹25,999.
The bands in full. Read them per volume, at a normal 10 to 12 ft ceiling, and apply the height correction above before you commit.

One last reference point, on fragrance rather than machines: consumption tracks intensity and run hours, not floor area, so a large dealership on one Angaan at a medium setting is not three times the running cost of a small showroom on one Vaayu. Order a single profile across every machine on site and keep the intensity matched. If you want the derivation rather than the table, how to choose SOSA Vaayu machines by showroom size sets out the five-question method, and how many machines a 10,000 sq ft dealership needs works the top band through in detail. The same volume-first approach is used for property showrooms in our sales gallery scenting plan, and across other business formats in the floor-size guide to commercial diffusers.
The unit behind every band: SOSA Vaayu, 1000m³, 400ml lasting up to 75 days, under 38dB, three mounting options, CE, RoHS and SGS certified. ₹11,999.
A table is only as honest as the assumptions printed beside it. Ours are a normal ceiling, one body of air, and a manufacturer rating rather than a promise.

The supporting numbers
Tank life, noise, mounting and certification - the specifications the bands rest on
Two machines produce every band in this guide, and the choice between them is decided by the volume of one connected space. Both are waterless, so no mist, no damp and no residue on paintwork, glass or upholstery, and both are made in India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A quick word on using this reference: the bands are per volume and assume a 10 to 12 ft ceiling. Apply the height correction first, count separately cooled rooms on their own, and treat the manufacturer ratings as specifications rather than guarantees - real coverage depends on airflow, door-opening and occupancy. One honest note - fragrance works alongside ventilation, extraction and cleaning and cannot cover paint, adhesive or workshop fumes at any band. Send your numbers and we will confirm your band on a free coverage plan.

A note from Sonal
A car showroom is a room built entirely out of hard surfaces - glass, tile, powder-coated steel and the inside of forty new cars. Sound bounces, light bounces, and smell does something stranger: it collects in the cool layer near the floor and thins out completely under a tall glass frontage. That is why two showrooms with identical floor plans can need different machines.
So I size by air, never by floor. Measure length, width and height, work in cubic metres, and divide by 1000 - that is the rating of one SOSA Vaayu, described on the product page as about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. Most compact showrooms come out at one machine. If the number lands at three or more inside a single connected volume, stop buying small machines and put one Angaan on the air handling instead.
The honest part: fragrance works alongside ventilation and cleaning, never instead of either. It cannot cover fresh paint, adhesive, damp or workshop fumes, and layering scent over those gives you both smells at once. And I make no claim that scent influences a purchase decision - it makes a space feel finished, which is a different and more defensible thing. SOSA is independent and not affiliated with any hotel. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
What area does one SOSA Vaayu cover in a car dealership?
One SOSA Vaayu (Rs 11,999) is rated to 1000 cubic metres, which the product page describes as about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft. At a normal 10 to 12 ft showroom ceiling that covers a connected floor of up to roughly 3,000 sq ft. Two units cover 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft for Rs 23,998, placed at opposite ends so the coverage overlaps in the middle.
What are the SOSA coverage bands for a large dealership?
Per connected volume, at a normal ceiling: up to 3,000 sq ft is one Vaayu; 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft is two Vaayu; 6,000 to 8,000 sq ft is one SOSA Angaan (Rs 25,999) rated to 3,000 cubic metres; and 8,000 to 10,000 sq ft is one Angaan, which is the machine's own rated band. Separately air-conditioned rooms are counted on their own whatever their size.
How does ceiling height change the coverage band?
A floor at 16 ft moves up roughly one band, and a floor under a full 20 ft glass frontage moves up two. A 5,000 sq ft floor holds about 1,417 cubic metres at 10 ft and about 2,833 cubic metres at 20 ft from the same plan. Work in cubic metres by multiplying length, width and height in metres, and treat square-foot figures as shorthand.
How long does a tank last and how often will staff touch the machine?
The Vaayu's 400ml tank lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, which on trading hours at a medium setting is roughly a quarterly refill per machine, with the key-lock engaged in between. The Angaan holds 800ml, which is why a large site on a single machine has one refill point rather than three.
Are the coverage figures guaranteed?
They are the manufacturer's ratings from the live product pages, verified on 24 August 2026, not guarantees for every building. Real coverage depends on airflow, door-opening, occupancy and settings, which is what a consultation checks. Fragrance also works alongside ventilation and cleaning and cannot cover paint, adhesive or workshop fumes, and SOSA makes no claim that scent influences a purchase decision.
One reference, any dealership: SOSA Vaayu at 1000m³ per unit, counted per separately cooled volume and corrected for ceiling height. ₹11,999.
