Why is food hard to distribute at 100 units? Because it raises allergen and dietary questions, has a shelf life, and often needs storage conditions - all of which fall on whoever runs the distribution.
Why is merchandise hard? Because it usually involves sizes or colours, and anything branded needs artwork approval and a lead time of its own.
Take "easy to distribute" as the actual brief
Most gifting advice answers the question what should we give, and your brief is narrower and more useful than that: what is easy to distribute at a hundred units. So score the categories on distribution load rather than on appeal, because at a hundred units the load falls on one or two people who already have jobs. Food, first, since it is the default. Anything edible raises a dietary question across a hundred people - vegetarian, jain, allergies, diabetes - and the cost of that is not the ingredient list, it is that somebody has to either ask a hundred people or accept that a portion of the gifts will be politely not eaten. It also carries a shelf life, which turns a gift into a deadline: the boxes cannot be assembled far in advance, they cannot sit in a storeroom for three weeks, and anything left over after people on leave return is a problem. Some of it needs cool storage in Hyderabad's climate. None of that makes food a bad gift; it makes food an operationally expensive one. Merchandise, second. Generic branded items fail your brief for different reasons. Anything wearable has sizes, which means either collecting a hundred sizes or accepting that a third of them will not fit. Anything branded needs artwork, an approval cycle and a production lead time, and the approval cycle is usually the longest item in the schedule. And branded merchandise has the deeper problem that it reads as issued rather than given, because a logo on an object makes it company property in the recipient's mind. A single small non-perishable object with no sizes and no branding requirement carries none of this. There is no dietary question, no expiry, nothing to store cold, nothing to size, no artwork cycle, and no per-person assignment - which is the hidden cost in most large distributions, because a hundred individually assigned gifts means a hundred name checks on the day. One SKU means one box, one count, and anybody can hand them out. On the numbers. A 3 ml attar is three hundred and seventy-nine to three hundred and ninety-nine rupees, so a hundred come to roughly thirty-nine thousand rupees. A solid perfume at five hundred and forty-nine rupees for fifteen grams is about fifty-five thousand for a hundred, and it deserves particular attention against your brief: it is alcohol-free, flameless and not a liquid, which means a hundred boxes can be assembled weeks early and stored without any possibility of a leak spoiling other contents. If your distribution has a long assembly window - and at a hundred units it usually does - that property is worth the difference. A 6 ml attar at six hundred and sixty-nine to six hundred and ninety-nine rupees is about sixty-eight thousand five hundred for a hundred, and the 12 ml at one thousand one hundred and forty-nine to one thousand one hundred and ninety-nine rupees is the largest of the three sizes, so a hundred would be about one hundred and seventeen thousand - a different budget tier. The liquid inside all three attar sizes is identical, so nobody receiving the 3 ml has been given a reduced version, and that sentence belongs on the card. On register across a hundred people in Hyderabad, two considerations. First, use one register for everybody: a hundred people span every age and taste, and a split you cannot justify invites people to look for a logic and infer one, which in a workplace is worse than uniformity. Second, the city's climate argues for a specific choice. Hyderabad is hot and dry for much of the year, and heat lifts and amplifies a fragrance while dryness sharpens it, so the light register is the safer default for daytime and office wear. Adaa is bergamot, green cardamom, jasmine sambac and white musk: bright, cool, lightly spiced, and the most wearable in that climate and in air conditioning. Ameeri - Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron and soft oudh - is the warmer, more festival-coded option and the better choice if this is specifically a Diwali distribution, since warmth and saffron sit correctly against the occasion. The two heavier evening registers, Mastani and Nawaab, are excellent and not what I would distribute across a staff list, because an evening register worn at eleven in the morning in a warm office is the one foreseeable complaint. One honest note for Hyderabad specifically: many of your hundred may know attars well, since the category is a living tradition in the city - so name the materials on the card rather than explaining the format, and skip any instructional tone. Two things to keep out of a hundred-unit staff distribution. Candles, because a hundred flame products going to a hundred homes during the festival week, when there are already diyas and crackers about, is a liability nobody needs - if you want something for the home, reed diffusers from seven hundred and forty-nine rupees for fifty millilitres are flame-free, though the per-unit spend is higher. And the Hotel Collection at two hundred and ninety-nine rupees for fifteen millilitres, which looks like an inexpensive personal fragrance and is a water-based fragrance made for ultrasonic diffusers rather than for wearing - it is not interchangeable with the personal range and would be a puzzle in a hundred pairs of hands. Three operational notes. Nothing is engraved, printed or co-branded, so the company name goes on the box, card or sleeve - which also means no artwork approval cycle on the product itself, only on the packaging, and that is one less item in your schedule. Quantities, bulk rates and lead times are not published anywhere: for a hundred units they are quoted on WhatsApp against your actual number and date, because everything is made in small batches and availability varies by week - and the festive fortnight is the most constrained period of the year, so ask well before you need it. And no wear-time figure is published, because that depends on the wearer. One closing note: alcohol-free describes how these are made rather than any claim about skin.
Food brings allergens and shelf life, merchandise brings sizes and brand approval - one SKU with none of those is the answer to the question as written
Scored on distribution load.
| Scent | Why it suits the mood |
|---|---|
| Best value · one hundred 3ml ~₹39,000 | One SKU, one register, materials named on every card. |
| Long assembly window · one hundred solids ~₹55,000 | Not a liquid, so boxes can be built weeks ahead and stored. |
| Register · Adaa for daytime, Ameeri for Diwali | Hyderabad heat lifts and sharpens, so the light register is the safer default. |
| Leave out · candles and the ₹299 Hotel Collection | A hundred flames in festival week; and the Hotel Collection is not worn. |

Versailles
The most common message we get about attars is some version of I have about a thousand rupees and I do not want to give something that looks cheap. It is an honest question and it deserves an honest number, so here it is: our 12ml attars are eleven hundred and forty-nine to eleven hundred and ninety-nine rupees. They are the largest of three sizes, not the small one. The sizes that fit under a thousand are the 3ml at three hundred and seventy-nine to three hundred and ninety-nine and the 6ml at six hundred and sixty-nine to six hundred and ninety-nine - and the Trio, which is three bottles for one thousand and fifty-five. If a page anywhere promises you a 12ml attar under a thousand rupees, it has not checked.
What makes a small bottle a real gift rather than a token is the format. An attar is an oil-based concentrate applied in drops and worn close to the skin, not sprayed across a room, so 3ml is a great many wearings. I will not tell you how many hours it lasts, because that depends on skin, weather and how much somebody uses, and any number I printed would be invented. What I will say is that the people who worry a small bottle looks like a sample are worrying about the right thing and solving it the wrong way. The fix is presentation, not volume: two 3ml bottles, or the Trio, or one 6ml, reads as considered. One 3ml handed over loose reads as a sample.
Two things we will not do. We will not describe an attar as a substitute for somebody's designer perfume - our Inspired By line names the house it interprets openly and is an interpretation rather than a copy, and our attars are their own thing entirely. And we will not quote bulk rates, minimum quantities or lead times on a page; for twenty, fifty or a hundred gifts that is a conversation, and the only useful thing a page can do is tell you what to send.
