Founder Diaries · Attars, Fragrance Discovery & Buying for Known Taste
By Sonal Sahani · ISIPCA Versailles 12 min read Updated September 2026
Four phrases turn up in nearly every fragrance-gifting conversation, and none of them is a technical category. Not too sweet. No heavy oud. Nothing sharp. Nothing overly floral. Treated as specifications they are useless, because the person saying them is describing an impression rather than a material. Treated as boundaries and checked against a published note list, they are the most useful information a buyer gets - and the striking thing is how unevenly they cost. One of the four removes nothing at all from this range. One of them removes an entire fixed box. This page audits all four against four published note lists, in order, and tells you which of your reader's throwaway phrases were expensive and which were free.
SOSA Ameeri attar, Taif rose Indian sandalwood Persian saffron soft oudh and amber, from Rs 385
SOSA Ameeri · Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh, amber, white musk · 3ml, 6ml or 12ml from ₹385 →
The bottle two of these four phrases both land on. Ameeri names Taif rose first, which puts it inside nothing overly floral, and a soft oudh fourth, which puts it inside no heavy oud - at ₹385 in 3ml, ₹679 in 6ml and ₹1,165 in 12ml. It is one of the three bottles in the fixed trio, so neither phrase can be answered by removing it. Adaa, the fourth attar, is the only one publishing no oud, and it is sold separately from ₹379.
Quick answers — read this first
What does 'not too sweet' actually exclude from the SOSA attars? Nothing, and that is worth knowing before you spend energy on it. There is no gourmand attar in the SOSA range. The closest anything comes is Mastani, which names vanilla and tonka at the end of a list that opens with night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood and oudh. Warm is not sweet, and a floral with a warm base is not a dessert. The phrase costs you no options here.

What does 'no heavy oud' exclude? The entire trio, which makes it the expensive one. Oudh is published on all three trio note lists - white royal oud leads Nawaab, a soft oudh sits under Taif rose and Persian saffron in Ameeri, and oudh sits under jasmine and rose in Mastani. Adaa is the only one of the four publishing none, from ₹379, and it is not in the box.

And 'nothing sharp' or 'nothing overly floral'? Nothing sharp points at Adaa and at nothing else, because its bergamot and neroli are the only citrus in the range - and Adaa is the bottle the fixed trio does not hold, so the phrase costs the box nothing. Nothing overly floral removes Mastani outright, which names jasmine and rose first and second, and puts a question over Ameeri, which names Taif rose first.
The short answer
Short answer: Audited against the four published note lists: not too sweet excludes nothing, because no gourmand attar exists in the range. No heavy oud excludes all three trio bottles, because oudh is published in Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani alike. Nothing sharp points only at Adaa, whose bergamot and neroli are the only citrus in the range and which is not in the box. Nothing overly floral removes Mastani and touches Ameeri.
The pick: It depends entirely on which phrase was said. No heavy oud and the answer is Adaa from ₹379. Not too sweet or nothing sharp and the fixed trio at ₹1,055 is untouched.
Why: A vague phrase is not a specification, but it can be audited against a published list of materials - and the audit is where you find out that three of these four phrases were cheap and one of them was not.
You know what they wear. That is a starting point, not an answer.Three to smell - the published Attar Trio, ₹1,055 in 3 x 3mlOne to commit to - a single 12ml attar, ₹1,149 to ₹1,199The trio is always the same three, always one sizeNever - a promise about what they will like
Knowing somebody's signature fragrance is more information than most gift buyers have, and it still does not answer the question, because the next bottle is not the same bottle. What three small attars buy you is evidence rather than a guess - three things to put on skin over a week. What the published trio is not is a set you assemble: it is one fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. And no page can tell you what anybody will make of any of them.
Straight answer
How can dislikes such as 'not too sweet,' 'no heavy oud,' 'nothing sharp' or 'nothing overly floral' be converted into useful fragrance-gifting clues without treating those descriptions as precise technical categories?
By running each one against a published note list and recording what it removes, rather than trying to make it mean something exact. The phrase stays vague; the consequence does not. Here is the audit across the whole SOSA attar range, which is four attars and one fixed trio. Not too sweet removes nothing. There is no gourmand attar in the range - the closest is Mastani, which names vanilla and tonka at the end of a list opening with night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood and oudh. That is a floral with a warm base, not a dessert, and the phrase costs you no options at all. No heavy oud removes everything in the box. Oudh is published on all three trio lists: Nawaab is led by white royal oud, Ameeri publishes a soft oudh under Taif rose, Indian sandalwood and Persian saffron, and Mastani publishes oudh under its two florals. Since the SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination of those three at ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, with all three bottles in one size and nothing substitutable, this phrase takes the whole box. Adaa is the only one of the four with no oud on its published list, at ₹379, ₹669 and ₹1,149, and it is bought on its own because the set does not hold it. Nothing sharp points at Adaa and at nothing else. Its bergamot and neroli are the only citrus published anywhere in the range, so the phrase excludes the one bottle already outside the trio and leaves the box untouched - which also means these two phrases, said together, empty the shelf. Nothing overly floral removes Mastani and puts a question over Ameeri. Mastani names jasmine and rose first and second; Ameeri names Taif rose first but follows it with wood, spice, resin and musk; Nawaab publishes no floral at all. Three limits before you order. The box cannot be edited, so a phrase that hits one bottle hits all three. SOSA publishes lists rather than phases, so there is no pyramid here to reason from, only order. And nothing in this audit can be stretched into a prediction about what she wants - a 3ml at roughly 60 wears at one dab is how that gets answered. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Not too sweet costs nothing here. No heavy oud costs the entire box. The same kind of phrase, wildly different prices.
The quick version: not too sweet excludes nothing, since no gourmand attar exists here. No heavy oud excludes all three bottles in the ₹1,055 trio, because oudh is published in every one of them. Nothing sharp points only at Adaa, the only citrus in the range and not part of the set, from ₹379. Nothing overly floral removes Mastani and touches Ameeri.
The SOSA Attar Trio from ₹1,055

Three things to do with a vague dislike before you spend against it

The mistake is treating a vague phrase as either worthless or precise. It is neither. It is a boundary drawn in ordinary language, and boundaries can be tested against published lists of materials even when they cannot be defined. Three moves below turn four throwaway sentences into a purchase.

01
Translate, do not interpret
Find the material the phrase is pointing at, then stop
Every one of these four phrases has a material or a small group of materials behind it, and the useful work is finding that group without inflating it. Sweet points at gourmand materials - vanilla, tonka, anything dessert-adjacent. Heavy oud points at oud and agarwood. Sharp usually points at citrus. Overly floral points at flowers named at the head of a list. That is the entire translation, and it should take a minute.

What you must not do is carry on interpreting past that point. Nobody can tell you how sharp is too sharp, or where heavy starts, because those are not published quantities and no attar publishes an intensity figure, an oil percentage or a concentration. Translating the phrase into materials gives you something checkable. Trying to calibrate it gives you a guess with a technical accent, which is worse than the original sentence because it feels rigorous.
Tip: Translate the phrase into materials. Do not try to give it a number.
02
Audit, one phrase at a time
Four phrases, four published lists, and four very different bills
Not too sweet: cost, nothing. No gourmand attar exists in this range. Mastani names vanilla and tonka at the end of a list that starts with night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose, over Mysore sandalwood and oudh - the nearest thing there is, and a floral rather than a dessert.

No heavy oud: cost, the whole box. Oudh is published in all three trio bottles - led in Nawaab, under rose and saffron in Ameeri, under jasmine and rose in Mastani. Adaa is the only one of the four publishing no oud, and it is the fourth attar rather than a member of the set.

Nothing sharp: cost, Adaa only. Its bergamot and neroli are the only citrus published anywhere in the range, and Adaa sits outside the fixed three, so the trio is untouched.

Nothing overly floral: cost, Mastani, and a question over Ameeri. Mastani names two florals first and second. Ameeri names one first and then five names of wood, spice, resin and musk. Nawaab publishes no floral anywhere.
03
Read the bill
The phrase that took the box is the only one that decides anything
Once the audit is on paper the purchase usually picks itself, because the four phrases are not equal and pretending they are is how people end up buying the wrong thing politely. If the oud line was said, the box is gone and Adaa is the purchase - ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml, ₹1,149 in 12ml - with the honest caveat that one bottle is a proposal rather than a comparison, because no oud-free three exists here.

If the oud line was not said, most of the rest is survivable. The trio at ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml takes no damage from not too sweet or from nothing sharp, and loses one bottle of three to nothing overly floral - at which point you are buying Ameeri at ₹385 and Nawaab at ₹399 one at a time, which is ₹784 in 3ml at full price. And if two or more of the phrases were said together, the useful move is not a cleverer purchase. It is a question: can they finish the sentence the next bottle should contain with a material rather than an adjective?
Tip: A phrase that removes nothing tells you nothing. Spend your attention on the one that emptied the shelf.
SOSA Adaa attar, bergamot cardamom and jasmine sambac
The bottle the trio does not contain
Adaa, and why it matters to half these questions
SOSA publishes four attars. Three of them are in the trio and one is not. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk - is published as the lightest of the four and a daytime attar, and it is sold on its own at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. That matters because the trio page itself lists a reason not to buy the trio: it is an evening set of depth, warmth and floral, and somebody who wears bright, light, citrus-led fragrance is not the buyer for it. If what you know about their taste is that it is fresh, the honest route is Adaa rather than the box - and if you want Adaa alongside two others, that is three individual bottles at full price, because the trio cannot be recomposed.

Work it out in this order
The audit in four lines, worst news first
  1. Not too sweet excludes nothing. No gourmand attar exists in the range.
  2. No heavy oud excludes all three trio bottles. Oudh is published in each.
  3. Nothing sharp points only at Adaa, which the fixed trio does not contain.
  4. Nothing overly floral removes Mastani and puts a question over Ameeri.
The SOSA principle
Vague dislikes are not useless and they are not specifications. They are boundaries, and a published note list is where you find out what each one cost you.
Three of these four phrases are nearly free in this range. The fourth removes a fixed box that cannot be rebuilt without it.

The four phrases, audited one at a time against four published lists

The four published lists, in order, so you can run any other phrase against them yourself. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver, cedarwood - at ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. The only citrus in the range, the only one of the four with no oud on it, published as the lightest and as the daytime attar, and sold on its own rather than as part of the set. Ameeri - Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh, amber, white musk - at ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Mastani - night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla, tonka - at ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Nawaab - white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood, aged tobacco leaf, with agarwood, leather, vetiver and amber - at ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199, published as the deepest of the four. Those last three are the trio, always, in whichever single size you pick. Two gaps that catch people out: there is no gourmand attar and no smoky attar in the range, so a phrase aimed at either removes nothing that exists.

The SOSA gift edit
Four purchases, and which phrase sends you to each
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
The SOSA Attar Trio, 3 x 3ml at ₹1,055 Survives not too sweet and nothing sharp without losing a bottle, because no gourmand attar exists and the only citrus is in Adaa, which is outside the set. It fails no heavy oud completely, since oudh is published in Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani alike and the combination is fixed.
Adaa, from ₹379 The answer to no heavy oud and the casualty of nothing sharp, which is a neat demonstration of how differently two vague phrases can land. It is the only one of the four publishing no oud, and its bergamot and neroli are the only citrus in the range. One bottle, so no comparison.
Nawaab alone, ₹399 in 3ml or ₹1,199 in 12ml The strict answer to nothing overly floral, because it is the only attar publishing no floral at all. It is also the exact opposite of no heavy oud, since white royal oud leads its list and SOSA publishes it as the deepest of the four. Two of these phrases send you to opposite ends of the shelf.
Going back for one material instead of four adjectives Free, and it outperforms the entire audit above. Ask whether they can finish the next bottle should contain with a named ingredient. Yes means buy depth in one bottle; no means buy breadth and let three bottles at roughly 60 wears each settle it.
SOSA Attar Trio, three bottles in one gift-ready box
What the three sizes actually buy you
3ml, 6ml or 12ml - and roughly sixty wears in the smallest
All three trio tiers contain the same three attars; the only variable is how much of each. ₹1,055 buys 3 x 3ml, and the published figure for a 3ml is roughly 60 wears at one dab - which is the number that makes a discovery gift a real one rather than a set of samples, because it is enough to wear a scent on an ordinary Tuesday and not just sniff it in a shop. ₹1,859 buys 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 buys 3 x 12ml, the largest published size of each. Against the same bottles bought singly those are savings of ₹118, ₹204 and ₹354. The trio ships with all three bottles in the same size - there is no mixed-size set, and SOSA states that mixing sizes means buying the three individually and losing the trio price.

Everything below applies to all four bottles equally, and it answers most of what is left after the scent reasoning. Alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant and skin-safe, carried on Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, with country of origin India. Each bottle has a built-in dab applicator: one dab on pulse points, and no rubbing. Attar oils can stain light silks, so skin rather than a collar. Published wear is 6 to 8 hours per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, the drydown develops after the first 30 minutes, and a 3ml runs to roughly 60 wears at one dab. The trio and Adaa pages publish heat-stability to 45 degrees C. That is the complete disclosure - no sillage figure, no projection figure, no oil percentage and no seasonal claim - and nothing here goes past it.

SOSA Nawaab attar, white royal oud, from Rs 399

The fact that changes most of these questions
The trio is one published combination. You do not choose the three.
Almost every version of this question arrives phrased as a curation problem - which three directions should I pick for her? - and the honest answer is that the published SOSA Attar Trio is a fixed set: Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, in whichever single size you choose. Adaa, the lightest of the four, is not in it - SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar and sells it on its own. And the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size; SOSA's own page states that a different three, or three different sizes, means buying individually and losing the trio price. So the real decision is not which three. It is whether these three are the right three for what you already know about their taste - and where they are not, the page should say so rather than sell you the box. The prices are ₹1,055 in 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 in 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 in 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. What any of them does on a particular person, and what that person makes of being given them, is not something SOSA publishes and not something this page will invent.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every attar gift where you already know what they wear, and the first one is not price. Are you buying breadth or depth? Breadth means three bottles to put on skin over a week, which is what the published trio is for; depth means one 12ml in a direction you are already confident about. Then: does what you know about their taste sit inside what the trio actually contains? The trio is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - warm rose and saffron, white royal oud, and night-jasmine with Damask rose. It has no light, fresh or citrus-led bottle in it, because Adaa is the lightest of the four and is sold separately from ₹379. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

SOSA Attar Trio - 3 x 6ml The middle size ₹1,859 against ₹2,063 bought singly. The same three attars; the trio ships with all three bottles in the same size ₹1,859

Ameeri - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Warm, rose and saffron led ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, a measured oudh and amber from ₹385
Mastani - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml Floral depth ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka from ₹389
Nawaab - 3ml, 6ml, 12ml The deepest in the range ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. White royal oud led, with Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf. SOSA publishes this as the deepest of the four from ₹399
SOSA solid body perfumes - 15g Worn, and smaller still ₹459 to ₹549. The other worn format in the range. No wear-time figure is published for these, so this page does not give one from ₹459
SOSA reed diffusers A room, not a person From ₹749 in 50ml. Listed here only to rule it out: a reed diffuser scents a room and an attar is worn. They are not substitutes, and a fragrance-taste question is not answered by a bottle that sits on a shelf from ₹749

The single most useful fact on this page: the published Attar Trio is one fixed combination. It is Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, every time, and all three bottles ship in the size you select. Adaa cannot be substituted into it, and there is no mixed-size trio - SOSA's own page says that if you want a different three, or three different sizes, you buy the bottles individually and the trio discount does not apply. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, a built-in dab applicator (dab on pulse points, do not rub), a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba, and alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant formulations hand-blended in small batches in Pune. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than on fabric. Prices above are the published selling prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, with quantities settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

What the SOSA attar pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • The four attars and their prices - Adaa, bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac and white musk, ₹379 / ₹669 / ₹1,149; Ameeri, Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh and amber, ₹385 / ₹679 / ₹1,165; Mastani, night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka, ₹389 / ₹685 / ₹1,179; Nawaab, white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf, ₹399 / ₹699 / ₹1,199. In 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. Those four are the entire attar range.
  • The trio - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani at ₹1,055, ₹1,859 and ₹3,189 for 3 x 3ml, 3 x 6ml and 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 bought singly. It is one fixed combination, all three bottles in the same size, and Adaa is not in it. A different three, or mixed sizes, means buying individually at full price.
  • Wear - 6 to 8 hours on skin per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin, with the drydown developing after the first 30 minutes. A 3ml is published at roughly 60 wears at one dab. That is the only quantity figure SOSA gives for an attar.
  • The format - a concentrated oil attar with a built-in dab applicator; dab on pulse points and do not rub. Carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba. Alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant, skin-safe, heat-stable to 45 degrees C, hand-blended in small batches in Pune by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained. Attar oils can stain light silks, so they go on skin rather than fabric.
  • Relative depth, in SOSA's own words - Adaa is published as the lightest of the four and Nawaab as the deepest, with Ameeri and Mastani between them. That ordering is published; no number from any product page is quoted here, and no claim is made about how any of them behaves on a particular person.
  • Not published, and therefore never stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product; and anything whatsoever about what a recipient will like or how a gift will be received. A note from Sonal

The message we get most often on WhatsApp is not what should I buy. It is a more specific and more interesting problem: I know exactly what she wears. I have known for years. I just cannot buy it again. That person is not short of information. They are short of a next step, which is a different thing entirely, and almost nothing written about fragrance gifting treats it as different.

Here is the part I would want them to hold on to. Knowing somebody's signature tells you where they started, not where they would go. A person who has worn one bottle for a decade has usually not rejected the alternatives - they have never had three of them on their own skin at the same time. So the useful gift is not a better guess at one bottle. It is evidence: several things to wear, on separate days, and the chance to notice which one they reach for without being asked to be polite about it.

The part I will be blunt about, because our own product page is blunt about it: the trio is one fixed set. Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, all three in whichever size you choose. It is not assembled around a person's taste, Adaa is not in it, and if somebody wears bright citrus and nothing else, that box is the wrong box - Adaa on its own is the honest answer, and it costs a great deal less. I would rather lose the larger sale than have three bottles sit unopened on somebody's dressing table.

And the thing nobody selling fragrance should pretend to know: I cannot tell you what they will like. I can tell you what is in each bottle, that one dab carries six to eight hours, that a 3ml is roughly sixty wears, and that all four are alcohol-free and blended here in Pune. What happens when a particular person puts a particular attar on a particular wrist is genuinely theirs to find out - and giving them three ways to find it out is, I think, the whole point.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a sweet or gourmand SOSA attar to avoid?
No. There is no gourmand attar in the range at all, so not too sweet removes nothing from the shelf. The nearest thing is Mastani, which publishes vanilla and tonka at the end of a list that opens with night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood and oudh. That is a floral with a warm base rather than a dessert, and this page does not sell it as a sweet scent.
Which SOSA attar has no oud in it?
Adaa, and it is the only one of the four. Its published list is bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood, with no oud anywhere on it, at Rs 379 in 3ml, Rs 669 in 6ml and Rs 1,149 in 12ml. The other three all publish oudh, which is why no heavy oud is the most expensive of these four phrases to honour.
Does a no-oud dislike leave the trio partly usable?
No. The SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination of Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, with all three bottles in the single size you select, and oudh is published on all three lists. Nothing is substitutable and Adaa cannot be moved into the set, so the phrase takes the whole box. Adaa is bought separately from Rs 379, and the trio plus Adaa on one order is Rs 1,434 in 3ml.
What counts as sharp in this range?
The only citrus SOSA publishes anywhere in the attar range is Adaa's bergamot and neroli, so that is what the phrase is pointing at, whether or not the person saying it would put it that way. Nobody can tell you how sharp is too sharp, because no intensity figure, oil percentage or concentration is published for any of the four. What is published is the list and its order, and nothing beyond that.
If someone says all four of these things, what should I buy?
Ask one more question rather than buying against all four, because together they empty the shelf: no heavy oud takes Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani, and nothing sharp takes Adaa. The useful question is whether they can finish the sentence 'the next bottle should contain' with a material rather than an adjective. If they can, buy that direction in one bottle. If they cannot, the four phrases were impressions and not boundaries.
SOSA fragrance gift
Take the next step
Buy against the phrase that actually cost you something
The 3 x 3ml trio at ₹1,055 when the phrases were not too sweet or nothing sharp, because neither removes a bottle from it - three directions, roughly 60 wears in each. ₹1,859 in 6ml or ₹3,189 in 12ml when supply is the point. Adaa at ₹379 in 3ml when the phrase was no heavy oud, because it is the only one of the four with none on its list and the trio does not hold it. Tell SOSA the exact words on WhatsApp.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the reasoning about how to buy fragrance for somebody whose taste you partly know applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: SOSA publishes four attars and one pack of three, and that is the entire attar range. Adaa - bergamot, green cardamom, neroli, jasmine sambac, magnolia, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood - is ₹379 in 3ml, ₹669 in 6ml and ₹1,149 in 12ml. Ameeri - Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, Persian saffron, soft oudh, amber and white musk - is ₹385, ₹679 and ₹1,165. Mastani - night-blooming jasmine, Damask rose, Mysore sandalwood, oudh, vanilla and tonka - is ₹389, ₹685 and ₹1,179. Nawaab - white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood and aged tobacco leaf - is ₹399, ₹699 and ₹1,199. The SOSA Attar Trio is one fixed combination - Ameeri, Nawaab and Mastani - at ₹1,055 for 3 x 3ml, ₹1,859 for 3 x 6ml and ₹3,189 for 3 x 12ml, against ₹1,173, ₹2,063 and ₹3,543 for the same bottles bought singly. All three bottles in a trio ship in the same size and in a single gift-ready box. Adaa is not in the trio; SOSA publishes it as the daytime attar, sold separately, and the trio page states that a different combination or mixed sizes means buying individually without the trio price. Published across all five pages: 6 to 8 hours of wear per bottle, longer on warm or oily skin; a drydown that develops after the first 30 minutes; roughly 60 wears in a 3ml at one dab; a built-in dab applicator, dabbed on pulse points rather than rubbed; a carrier of Indian sandalwood oil and jojoba; alcohol-free, DPG-free, IFRA-compliant and skin-safe; heat-stable to 45 degrees C; hand-blended in small batches in Pune; country of origin India. Attar oils can stain light silks and are applied to skin rather than fabric. For comparison: SOSA solid body perfumes are ₹459 to ₹549 in 15g and are also worn, though no wear-time figure is published for them; SOSA reed diffusers from ₹749 scent a room rather than a person and are not an alternative to an attar. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: any sillage, projection or room-distance figure; any shelf life, expiry, concentration or oil percentage; any seasonal or skin-chemistry claim beyond "longer on warm or oily skin"; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or lead time; and any presentation beyond the trio's single gift-ready box and a custom label or logo on product. Limits of this guide: no claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, sleep, headaches, sensitivity or wellbeing, in either direction. No claim is made about what any recipient will like. Nothing here states or implies that a named person will enjoy, prefer, adopt or be impressed by any fragrance, that a scent will suit them or become their signature, or that a gift will be well received; SOSA publishes no information of that kind and none is invented here. No third-party perfume, perfume house or brand is named, and no resemblance, alternative or dupe claim is made about any SOSA product. No rating, review count, strength score or customer name from any product page is cited, and no competitor or category of competing product is characterised. No statement is made about what any community, religion or family wears or gives, and no etiquette rule is presented as fact. No fragrance is assigned to a gender; SOSA publishes all four attars as wearable by anyone. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
