Rotation, refills and what it actually costs to run
Once every room has a scent, the interesting decision is which two or three you buy large. A 300ml 300ml refill at ₹1,799 is the lowest cost per ml in the range — roughly ₹6 against about ₹20 for a 15ml bottle — and it is the right format for the scents running daily in the master bedroom and the main living zone. Keep the occasional rooms on 15ml and you are spending sensibly rather than uniformly.
Seasonal rotation is the second thing a villa can do that smaller homes cannot. On running cost I will not give you a figure, because it depends entirely on how many hours a day you run each machine and on which setting. I have spent most of this series telling people to buy fewer bottles than they wanted, so it feels strange to arrive at a post where the answer is all of them. But the reasoning has not changed at all — it is still one scent per air space, and a villa simply has seven air spaces.
What I would still push back on is buying seven and running three. If four bottles are untouched after six months, the villa did not need seven scents; it needed three and a rotation. Move them between rooms before you buy anything else.
