Of all the cities I write scenting plans for, this is the one where the same showroom genuinely behaves like two different rooms. The Gurugram experience centre that runs sealed and conditioned through the long summer is not the same acoustic, thermal or olfactory object as the one trading with its doors folded back in January - and a single setting cannot be honest in both.
Quick answers — read this first
What is the best scent machine for a kitchen experience centre in Delhi NCR? From roughly 1,500 sq ft, one SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 - waterless, rated to 1000m³, with adjustable intensity and a key-lock, which is what makes the local method possible. Past roughly 5,000 sq ft with a central air handler, the conversation moves to an Aangan at ₹25,999. Under about 750 sq ft none of that applies and a Sukoon at ₹1,899 is the right buy. What NCR adds is not a different machine but a different way of running it.
Why does Delhi NCR need two settings a year? Because it is genuinely two buildings. For the long summer the showroom is sealed and conditioned: the doors stay shut, the air is dry and moving, and the fragrance sits in a controlled volume. Then the season turns and the same room trades with the frontage open onto street air. One number cannot be honest in both states - the sealed version needs less, and the open version cannot hold much whatever you do. So you find two numbers, write both on a card with the months against them, and change between them deliberately rather than by feel.
How strong, and what does it cost? Lower than the room's size suggests, because customers sit through a 60 to 90 minute design consultation and NCR experience centres are often double-height, which means far more cubic volume than the floor plan implies. On hardware, under about 750 sq ft one SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899 and a Vaayu would be the wrong buy. From roughly 1,500 sq ft, one Vaayu at ₹11,999. Total hardware spend: one machine, two settings.
The short answer
Short answer: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) from about 1,500 sq ft, run on two written settings rather than one, because an NCR showroom is sealed and conditioned through the long summer and open-fronted in winter and no single number is honest in both. The fragrance never changes; only the number does, and it is found by walking in from the street rather than calculated. Under about 750 sq ft, a Sukoon at ₹1,899 instead.
The pick: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) placed on the room's own air path rather than inside the plant, with a summer setting and a winter setting written on a card - or an Aangan (₹25,999) past roughly 5,000 sq ft with a central air handler that genuinely runs all year.
Next step: send the floor plan with ceiling heights marked, tell us which months the air conditioning is off and whether the frontage opens, and we will suggest a placement and two starting settings rather than one - Ask for a retail scenting plan.
The NCR facts that matter are architectural, not meteorological: purpose-built standalone centres on sector service roads, double-height glass frontages that hold far more cubic volume than the floor plan admits, and central plant that runs hard for most of the year and then stops.
The experience-centre machine - tap to see the specification
Which scent machine should a Delhi NCR kitchen experience centre buy, and how should it be run?
The machine is the easy half. From roughly 1,500 sq ft it is one SOSA Vaayu at ₹11,999 - waterless, rated to 1000m³, adjustable intensity, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, under 38dB, key-locked - and past roughly 5,000 sq ft with a genuine central air handler the conversation becomes an Aangan at ₹25,999. The honest concession first: under about 750 sq ft none of that is the right purchase and one SOSA Sukoon at ₹1,899 is, with a Vaayu rated for several times the volume you actually have. What NCR changes is not the hardware but how it is run, and the reason is that this is the most genuinely seasonal building on my list. For the long conditioned months your centre is a sealed box: doors shut, air dry and moving, plant running, the fragrance held in a volume you control. Then the season turns and the same building trades with its frontage folded back onto street air, unconditioned, exchanging constantly. Those are two different rooms and no single number is honest in both. The sealed version needs less than owners expect, because dry moving air carries a fragrance further and more sharply than most people credit; the open version cannot hold much at all, and raising the dial to compensate simply sends more oil into the car park. So the method is two settings, not one. Find the summer number by standing outside on the service road for a few minutes and walking back in through the customer's door, judging the first breath and nothing else, then sitting at the consultation table for a full ninety minutes because that seat sets the ceiling. Find the winter number the same way, in winter. Write both on a card with the months against them, taped inside the machine's cupboard, and turn the key-lock on so the card is the authority rather than whoever last had an opinion. The fragrance itself never changes - dry woods for timber and warm displays, the brighter green end run low for white and grey, and nothing edible at any point, because a room selling ₹5-10 lakh cabinetry that smells of food reads as a café. There is one specification trap peculiar to this region, and it catches people who have read my HVAC advice and applied it too literally: if you mount the machine into a central plant that switches off for months, you have bought a distribution system that works for most of the year and disappears for the rest. In NCR I would rather see the Vaayu placed on the room's own air path, wall-mounted at roughly a metre and well away from any return, where it behaves the same in both versions of the building. And two more local notes. Double-height glass frontages are the norm here, and they hold far more cubic metres than the floor area implies, so do the arithmetic in metres rather than trusting a square-foot rating. And handovers in this market arrive in waves, which means displays get rebuilt in bursts - new joinery, laminate and adhesive are a curing problem solved by ventilation and time, never by fragrance, and a centre mid-refit should come down or off until it has passed. Plainly: no one can promise you that ambient scent moves footfall, enquiries or order value, and a supplier who offers you a figure is selling.Ask for a retail scenting plan and send the floor plan.
One Vaayu at ₹11,999 from about 1,500 sq ft, Aangan at ₹25,999 past 5,000, Sukoon at ₹1,899 below 750. The NCR difference is in the running, not the buying: two written settings a year, one unchanging fragrance, and no mounting into a plant that switches off.
For an NCR experience centre past about 1,500 sq ft, one SOSA Vaayu - waterless, rated to 1000m³, adjustable intensity so a summer and a winter number can both be held, and a key-lock so the card on the cupboard door is the authority. ₹11,999. Under 750 sq ft, buy the Sukoon at ₹1,899 instead.
Two honest answers by cubic volume, and in this region the volume is very often larger than the floor plan suggests because the frontage is double-height. Read the specifications before ordering anything.
Waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³ - roughly 2,000-3,000 sq ft at a normal ceiling, and meaningfully less under a double-height frontage. 400ml tank running 90+ days a fill, Bluetooth app with 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, under 38dB, 5W, auto-stop and key-lock. Freestanding or wall-mounted on the room's own air path.
Ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser covering roughly 270-320 sq ft, supplied with three 15ml fragrances. For a single-room NCR studio or a satellite display unit this is the honest buy, and a Vaayu at six times the price would be rated for several times the volume you have.
1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft at a normal ceiling), 400ml tank running 90+ days a fill, Bluetooth app and 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, adjustable intensity, under 38dB, 5W, freestanding or wall and HVAC mount, auto-stop and key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified. Made in India. Cold-air refill oil is not currently sold separately - the machine ships with 400ml and further supply should be confirmed with SOSA.
None of them is the register. One is the number of settings you keep, one is where the machine may safely be mounted, and one is the height of the room you bought.

Keep two numbers, not one
The sealed building and the open building are different rooms
For most of the year an NCR centre is conditioned and closed, and dry moving air carries a fragrance further and more sharply than owners expect - so the sealed setting is usually lower than instinct suggests. Then the frontage opens onto street air and the same room cannot hold a level at all. Find both numbers on foot, in the season they belong to: stand outside, walk in through the customer's door, judge the first breath, then sit at the consultation table for a full ninety minutes. Write both on a card with the months against them and change deliberately on a date rather than gradually by feel, which is how a setting drifts upward and stays there.
Tip: Change the setting on a calendar date, not on the first uncomfortable afternoon.
One Vaayu ₹11,999, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.
A distribution system you lose for months is not a distribution system
Everywhere else I will happily tell a showroom to put the machine into the air handling, because the building's own supply is the best distribution you will ever get for free. NCR is where that advice needs a caveat. If your central plant is switched off for the cooler months, an HVAC-mounted machine spends that whole period with nothing to ride on. Unless the plant genuinely runs all year, I would rather see the Vaayu wall-mounted at roughly a metre on the room's own air path, upstream of the display floor and well away from the return, where it behaves the same in both versions of the building. Test the path with a tissue before you drill anything.
Tip: Ask whether the air handling runs twelve months. If it does not, keep the machine in the room.
One Vaayu ₹11,999, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.
A double-height centre holds far more air than its floor plan admits
The purpose-built NCR format - a standalone centre on a sector service road with a two-storey glass frontage and a mezzanine or gallery inside - is the shape most likely to defeat a square-foot rating. You scent cubic volume: length by width by height, in metres. A centre that reads as 2,000 sq ft on a plan can hold close to double the air a single-storey 2,000 sq ft floor does, which moves it from comfortably inside a Vaayu's rating to sitting right at the edge of it. Do the arithmetic before you buy, and treat any supplier who quotes you only square feet as having skipped the first step of the calculation.
One Vaayu ₹11,999, set once and left alone, is the whole hardware side of this.
Delhi NCR is the only market where I write two settings on the same card, because the building genuinely stops being itself twice a year - and the thing that must never move between those two states is the fragrance.
A customer who visits in June and again in January should recognise the room, not the adjustment.
Adjustable intensity, which is the NCR feature: Two honest settings a year need a dial that can be moved deliberately and then held. SOSA Vaayu, ₹11,999.
Waterless by design: SOSA Vaayu adds no moisture to the room and leaves no residue on surfaces - a fact about the machine, not a claim about your finishes. ₹11,999.
The showrooms in this region that smell wrong are almost never running the wrong fragrance. They are running January's number in June, because nobody wrote down which one was which.

Why the unglamorous features matter in NCR
A dial you can move on purpose, and a lock that stops it moving otherwise
Three machines cover the whole NCR range, from a satellite studio to a flagship experience centre. Cold-air refill oil is not currently sold separately, so the 400ml supplied runs 90+ days a fill and continuity of supply should be confirmed with SOSA before you commit across more than one centre. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The SOSA kitchen-showroom specification
One register, two seasonal numbers, and the machine chosen by cubic volume
Keep the register fixed, keep two numbers on a card, and place the machine where it works in both versions of the building. Ambient scent here is a presentation decision like lighting or display styling; it is never used to mask another smell - not laminate, not adhesive, not cooking - and it is never a substitute for ventilation, extraction or cleaning, which matters most in the weeks after a display rebuild. And plainly: no one can promise you that ambient scent moves footfall, enquiries or order value, and a supplier quoting you a figure is selling. Ask for a retail scenting plan before you spend anything.

A note from Sonal
The question I get from this region is nearly always framed as which machine, and the machine is the least interesting part of the answer. Past about 1,500 sq ft it is a Vaayu, past roughly 5,000 with real air handling it is an Aangan, and under 750 sq ft it is a Sukoon and I will say so even though it costs me the sale. What NCR actually asks of you is a discipline nobody else on this list needs: keeping two numbers instead of one.
That is because the building stops being itself twice a year. Sealed and conditioned, an experience centre here is a controlled volume with dry moving air, and dry moving air carries a fragrance further and more sharply than owners expect, so the honest setting is lower than it feels. Open-fronted onto a service road, the same building exchanges air constantly and cannot hold much of anything - and the mistake is to fight that with the dial. Find both numbers on foot, in the season they belong to, write them on a card with the months against them, and change on a date. The other local trap is the plant: it is tempting to mount into the air handling, and I recommend that everywhere else, but a plant that switches off for months is a distribution system you lose for months. If in doubt, keep the machine in the room.
On hardware I would rather undersell. Under 750 sq ft, a Sukoon at ₹1,899. From about 1,500 sq ft a Vaayu at ₹11,999, and past roughly 5,000 sq ft an Aangan at ₹25,999. If a display run is being rebuilt, buy none of them this month. Made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best scent machine for a kitchen experience centre in Delhi NCR?
From about 1,500 sq ft, one SOSA Vaayu at Rs 11,999: waterless, rated to 1000m3, adjustable intensity, app timers, under 38dB and key-locked. Past roughly 5,000 sq ft with year-round air handling, an Aangan at Rs 25,999 specified into the plant. Under about 750 sq ft a Sukoon at Rs 1,899 is the honest buy and a Vaayu would be the wrong one. What NCR changes is how the machine is run, not which machine it is.
Why does a Delhi NCR showroom need two settings a year?
Because it is effectively two buildings. Through the long conditioned months it is sealed, with dry moving air that carries a fragrance further than owners expect, so the honest number is lower than instinct suggests. In the cooler months the frontage opens onto street air and the room exchanges constantly, and no dial can hold a level against that. Find both numbers by walking in from outside in the season they belong to, write them on a card with the months, and change on a date.
Should I mount the scent machine into my central air conditioning in NCR?
Only if the plant genuinely runs all year. Mounting into the air handling is normally the best distribution you can get, because the building already moves air everywhere you want the fragrance to reach. But if the system is switched off for months, an HVAC-mounted machine loses its distribution for that whole period. In that case wall-mount the Vaayu at about a metre on the room's own air path, upstream of the display floor and well away from the return.
My experience centre has a double-height glass frontage. Does that change the machine?
It changes the arithmetic, which may change the machine. You scent cubic volume rather than floor area, so multiply length by width by height in metres. A double-height centre can hold close to twice the air that its floor plan suggests, which can move it from comfortably inside a Vaayu's 1000m3 rating to sitting at the edge of it. Do that calculation before ordering, and treat a supplier quoting only square feet as having skipped a step.
Will scenting my NCR experience centre increase walk-ins or order value?
No one can promise that, and I will not. SOSA has run no research that would support such a figure, and there is no honest way to separate ambient scent from the twenty other things a customer experiences across a ninety-minute visit. A supplier who offers you a number is selling. The useful question is whether the air agrees with the displays, the lighting and the price of the kitchens, in both the sealed season and the open one.
Past roughly 5,000 sq ft: SOSA Aangan at ₹25,999 is specified into the building's air handling rather than placed in a room - provided that handling runs all year.
The SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) covers up to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft at a normal ceiling and less under a double-height frontage; below about 750 sq ft the honest answer is a Sukoon at ₹1,899, and past roughly 5,000 sq ft with year-round air handling the Aangan at ₹25,999. Waterless, under 38dB, key-locked, made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. Send your floor plan with ceiling heights marked.

Facts verified 5 September 2026 against the live SOSA product pages: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) is a waterless cold-air nebuliser rated to 1000m³, described by the manufacturer as approximately 2,000-3,000 sq ft, with adjustable intensity, a 400ml refillable tank lasting 90+ days a fill depending on intensity and run hours, Bluetooth app and button control, 1h/4h/8h/24h timers, operation under 38dB at 5W, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, auto-stop and key-lock, and CE, RoHS and SGS certification, which are electrical and compliance marks and not medical approvals. Being waterless, it adds no moisture and leaves no residue on surfaces or equipment. The SOSA Sukoon (₹1,899) is an ultrasonic cool-mist diffuser covering roughly 270-320 sq ft and is supplied with three 15ml fragrances; the water-based Hotel Collection (₹299 / ₹999 / ₹1,799) is an ultrasonic fragrance and is not a refill for a waterless cold-air machine. SOSA reed diffusers are alcohol-free and phthalate-free, with 50ml lasting about 6-8 weeks and 130ml about 14-18 weeks. Cold-air refill oil for the Vaayu is not currently sold separately - the machine ships with 400ml included and further refills should be confirmed with SOSA. Warranty, annual maintenance, installation and bulk terms are not published and should be confirmed before ordering.
