When people ask me about fragrance during pregnancy, they usually ask which scent. But in my experience the bigger lever is how much scent reaches you, and how easily you can turn it down. A sensitive nose is rarely upset by the idea of a smell - it is upset by a wall of it filling a closed cabin with no escape. So the first principle is simple: keep the dose low, keep the air moving, and keep control in your own hands.
What "low dose" actually means in a car
A car cabin is small and sealed, so even a mild fragrance concentrates fast. Low dosing means a single light spritz rather than several, or a hanging diffuser set so it only whispers in the background.
