Most homes should own three bottles and stop. A 4BHK is the first Indian home where five to seven is genuinely a wardrobe rather than a collection, because it has five or six separate air masses and four of them belong to different people. One house signature for the connected common zone, one character behind each bedroom door, and one or two left for the season and the evening people arrive. At this size the Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799 stops being indulgent and becomes the obvious buy.
Quick answers — read this first
The shape: one house signature for the common zone plus one character per bedroom — five to seven bottles in a 4BHK.

The buy: the Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799 — roughly ₹257 a bottle against ₹2,093 for seven singles, so it saves ₹294.

What arrives free: three 15ml bottles with every Sukoon, so four machines land with twelve.
The short answer
Short answer: a 4BHK wants five to seven Hotel Collection bottles — a single house signature held permanently in the connected common zone, one distinct character behind each bedroom door, and one or two kept for the season and for the evening guests arrive. This is the first Indian home size with enough separate air masses to use the whole seven-scent range honestly rather than accumulate it, because a 4BHK holds a 450–700 sq ft living-dining, a 160–220 sq ft master and three further bedrooms of 110–160 sq ft.
The pick: The Ritz-Carlton-inspired (white tea, bergamot, cedar) as the house signature; The St. Regis-inspired (amber, violet, woods) in the master; 1 Hotels-inspired (cedarwood, vetiver, green leaves) where a teenager or a study is; Westin-inspired (white tea, aloe, cedar) in the guest room; Shangri-La-inspired (jasmine, green tea, white tea) in the fourth bedroom; with W Hotels-inspired (citrus, pepper, amber) for arrivals and Four Seasons-inspired (citrus, floral, sandalwood) for winter. Twelve 15ml bottles arrive free with four Sukoons at ₹7,596, and the Pack of 7 × 15ml is ₹1,799.
Shop: the Hotel Collection from ₹299, the Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799, 300ml refills at ₹1,799, 100ml at ₹999, the Sukoon (₹1,899) and the Vaayu (₹11,999).
Straight answer
What is the best Hotel Collection fragrance wardrobe for a 4BHK?
1. One house signature, then one character per bedroom — five to seven bottles. The connected common zone holds a single scent permanently, because that is the one the front door opens into and the one guests will describe. Each bedroom takes its own, chosen by the person sleeping in it. That is five in a four-bedroom flat before you add anything seasonal.

2. The shape that works: Ritz-Carlton-inspired as the signature. White tea, bergamot and cedar in the common zone; The St. Regis-inspired amber, violet and woods in the master; 1 Hotels-inspired cedarwood, vetiver and green leaves where a teenager or a study is; Westin-inspired white tea, aloe and cedar for a guest; Shangri-La-inspired jasmine, green tea and white tea in the fourth room.

3. The sixth and seventh are occasions rather than rooms. W Hotels-inspired — citrus, pepper and amber — in the common zone from two hours before people arrive, then back to the signature the next morning. Four Seasons-inspired — citrus, floral and sandalwood — for northern winters.

4. Most of it costs nothing. Three 15ml Hotel Collection bottles of your choice arrive with every Sukoon, so four machines land with twelve — provided you spread the choice at checkout rather than doubling up on a favourite. The Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799 is 105ml at roughly ₹257 a bottle against ₹2,093 for seven singles.

5. Buy for the distance between bottles, not the description of each. Cedar runs through three of the seven and white tea through three, which is what keeps a 2,000–3,000 sq ft flat coherent while every door still changes the character behind it.

A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
TL;DR: one house signature held permanently in the connected common zone, one character behind each bedroom door, and one or two for the season and for arrivals — five to seven bottles. Twelve 15ml bottles arrive with four Sukoons at ₹7,596, and the Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799 works out at roughly ₹257 a bottle, so the seventh is effectively free.
Pack of 7 × 15ml
Seven characters for a home with seven rooms
Pack of 7 × 15ml ₹1,799
All seven Hotel Collection scents in 15ml — 105ml of fragrance at roughly ₹257 a bottle, against ₹2,093 for seven bought singly at ₹299, so it saves ₹294. Six singly is ₹1,794, which means the seventh bottle is effectively free. A 4BHK is the first Indian home with enough separate air masses to use the whole range honestly rather than collect it — a house signature for the common zone, a different character behind each bedroom door, and two left over for the season and the evening people arrive.

Why a 4BHK is the first home that can use seven bottles

I have spent most of this cluster arguing for restraint, and the argument does not change here — it is simply that the number restraint arrives at gets larger when the home does. A wardrobe is justified by occasions and rooms rather than by taste, and the test is always the same: name the recurring moment or the sealed room that the bottles you already own handle badly. In a studio that test returns one bottle. In a 3BHK it returns three, or five if you entertain. In a 4BHK it returns five to seven honestly, for the first and only time in Indian home sizes below a villa.

1
THE ROOMS DO THE COUNTING
Five or six sealed air masses, four of them belonging to different people
A typical 4BHK runs 2,000–3,000 sq ft across a 450–700 sq ft living-dining that usually opens into the entrance and corridor, a 160–220 sq ft master, three further bedrooms of 110–160 sq ft each, and often a study or family lounge. Fragrance is stopped by a closed door long before it is exhausted by distance, which means each of those bedrooms is a genuinely separate canvas rather than a corner of one room — nothing bleeds, nothing clashes, and two scents that would fight in an open plan simply never meet. Then the part that decides the count: those four rooms belong to four different people with different tastes, different hours and different views on how much fragrance is too much. Five bottles in a 4BHK is not five moods. It is one house signature plus four people who each chose, and that is a structure rather than a collection.
2
WHAT ARRIVES WITHOUT BEING BOUGHT
Twelve bottles with four machines, eighteen with six
Every Sukoon at ₹1,899 arrives with three 15ml Hotel Collection bottles of the buyer's choice, so four machines land with twelve and six with eighteen. That is 180ml or 270ml of fragrance, and it is why the wardrobe of a 4BHK usually costs nothing at all in the first year — provided you spread the choice at checkout instead of ordering three of the one you already like the sound of. Do that spread and you own the entire seven-scent range on the first evening, with spares. The bottle to buy deliberately later is the one the house has settled on: a 300ml 300ml refill at ₹1,799 is roughly ₹6 per ml against about ₹20 per ml in 15ml bottles and about ₹10 per ml in 100ml, and one bottle of the everyday scent supplies every ultrasonic tank in the flat for months.
The Pack of 7 maths: all seven in 15ml is ₹1,799 — roughly ₹257 a bottle, against ₹2,093 for seven singly at ₹299, a saving of ₹294. Six bought singly is ₹1,794, so the seventh is effectively free.
3
THE HONEST LIMIT
The wardrobe is for the ultrasonic tanks, and the common zone may not be one
One thing to be straight about before you plan seven rooms around seven bottles. The Hotel Collection range is SOSA's own water-based fragrance, formulated for 2.4MHz ultrasonic diffusers, and thicker essential and carrier oils clog a misting plate — so every 15ml, 100ml and 300ml bottle moves freely between every Sukoon and Boond in the flat, and stops at the Vaayu. The Vaayu is waterless and runs undiluted oil, a different consumable priced on its own product page, and I would rather send you there than quote a figure I had rounded. So in a hybrid 4BHK the wardrobe below describes the bedrooms, and the common zone runs whatever the nebuliser takes; in an all-ultrasonic 4BHK it describes the whole flat including the living-dining. The structure — one signature, one per bedroom — is identical either way.

The wardrobe in full, room by room

All seven characters with the room, the moment and the setting. The first row is the one bottle to hold permanently and eventually buy as a 300ml; the last two are occasions rather than rooms, and they are the two you can honestly skip.

The 4BHK fragrance wardrobe
Seven bottles, five rooms and two occasions
The bottle Notes Where and when it runs What it is for
1. The Ritz-Carlton-inspired ★ White tea · bergamot · cedar The connected common zone, permanently — steady or the 4H timer while people are home The house signature and the scent the front door opens into. It works hardest and must offend least — buy this one as a 300ml refill at ₹1,799
2. The St. Regis-inspired Amber · violet · woods Master bedroom, permanently — low with the 2H timer, at least 1.5m from the pillow The rich character behind your own door, comfortable because you are conscious in that room for two hours rather than sixteen
3. 1 Hotels-inspired Cedarwood · vetiver · green leaves A teenager's room or a bedroom used as a study — low, or the 4H timer across a working afternoon The driest and greenest in the range. The usual answer for anybody who finds sweetness heavy, and the right bottle for eight conscious hours behind a door
4. Westin-inspired White tea · aloe · cedar The guest bedroom — low with the 2H timer, switched on the day somebody arrives Chosen by subtraction. A guest cannot leave the room and has no polite way to say they dislike what is in it
5. Shangri-La-inspired Jasmine · green tea · white tea The fourth bedroom — a parent's room, a child's room, or whoever asked for something softer The one floral direction in the range, and the answer when somebody dislikes both woods and citrus. Let them pick it rather than assigning it
6 and 7. W Hotels-inspired and Four Seasons-inspired Citrus · pepper · amber, and citrus · floral · sandalwood The common zone from two hours before guests arrive; the common zone from about November in the north Occasions rather than rooms — the arrival scent and the winter one. Genuinely skippable, and both arrive free in a twelve-bottle spread anyway

Seven characters, the machines that carry them, and the bottle you eventually buy big
The SOSA principle
A wardrobe is justified by rooms and occasions, never by taste. A 4BHK is the first Indian home where that test honestly returns seven.
Five sealed air masses and four people who each get to choose — and two bottles left over for the season and the evening the doorbell goes.

Sizes, refills and where the wardrobe should stop

Start with sizes, because this is where a 4BHK household most often overspends without improving anything. Hotel Collection comes in 15ml at ₹299, 100ml at ₹999, 300ml at ₹1,799 and a Pack of 7 × 15ml at ₹1,799, and the right size depends entirely on what a bottle is for rather than on how much you like it. A 15ml bottle is a trial and a bedroom's current mood — it is the size that arrives free with machines, the size to hand a teenager who has not decided, and at about ₹20 per ml the worst value if you are certain. A 100ml at ₹999 works out at roughly ₹10 per ml and is the right buy for a bedroom whose occupant has held the same choice for two months and wants it to be permanent, without committing to 300ml of something only one person smells. A 300ml at ₹1,799 is roughly ₹6 per ml and belongs to exactly one bottle in the house: the house signature, the one running in the common zone or the tank that empties fastest, which after a month will have made itself obvious and will reliably not be the bottle anybody predicted in week one. And the Pack of 7 is the beginning rather than the end — ₹1,799 for all seven at roughly ₹257 a bottle against ₹2,093 bought singly, a saving of ₹294, with six singles costing ₹1,794 so that the seventh is effectively free. In a home where four people are each meant to choose, that is the cheapest way to let all four actually choose rather than ratify.

Then the running discipline, which matters more in a 4BHK than in any smaller home because there are more tanks and more temptation. Never layer a new fragrance onto a half-rinsed tank — empty it, rinse it properly, wipe the misting plate, then refill, which is a five-minute job and the difference between a considered wardrobe and four versions of the same muddle. Keep each room's bottle in that room rather than in one cupboard, so nobody has to remember which character belongs where; with four or six machines that single habit does more for coherence than any amount of planning. Change bedroom scents when the person in the room wants to and not on a schedule, because the entire point of a machine per bedroom is that the decision belongs to somebody. Change the common-zone signature almost never: a fragrance becomes an identity through repetition and nothing else, and a house signature that rotates monthly is just a series of nice smells. The one deliberate exception is arrival — W Hotels-inspired from two hours before people come, back to the signature the next morning — and, in the north, the winter swap to Four Seasons-inspired from about November. Everything else that looks like variety is usually just indecision with a receipt.

Now where to stop, because a page recommending seven bottles owes you an honest ceiling. Seven is the whole range, so the wardrobe cannot grow beyond it by buying more scents — it can only grow by buying more of the same ones, and that is a restocking decision rather than a wardrobe one. The genuine limit is earlier than seven for most households: five bottles is the complete answer for a 4BHK — one signature and four bedrooms — and the sixth and seventh only earn their place if you actually entertain often enough to notice an arrival scent, or live somewhere with a winter that changes what a room should smell of. Since a twelve-bottle spread arrives free with four Sukoons at ₹7,596, most 4BHK households own all seven without ever making that decision, which is the happiest version of this. What I would push back on is the instinct to buy 300ml of more than one scent. Two 300ml bottles is ₹3,598 and about 600ml of fragrance in a home that uses perhaps 30–50 ml/h in a machine running a few hours a day — you will still be working through them next year, and the second one was bought for a room whose occupant may change their mind in March. Buy one 300ml of the signature, 100ml of a bedroom's settled choice if somebody has genuinely settled, and let the 15ml bottles do the rest. And the thing that outranks every bottle on this page: fragrance layers on top of clean air. Extractor while you cook rather than afterwards, bins emptied before they are noticed, dry bathroom floors, ten minutes of morning air through a 2,000–3,000 sq ft flat. No wardrobe has ever fixed a room that needed a window opening.

Seven bottles in a small flat is a collection. Seven bottles in a 4BHK is five rooms and two occasions — and the difference is whether you can name what each one is for.

The SOSA 4BHK edit

The wardrobe as a shopping list, in the order it earns its money — which begins with the machines, because that is where most of the bottles come from. The last row is the spend I would talk almost anybody out of.

The SOSA 4BHK edit
Which bottles, which sizes, and when to stop buying them
Buy What it does When it earns its place Price
1. Four Sukoons — twelve bottles included ★ Four bedrooms on 270–320 sq ft ratings, and twelve 15ml Hotel Collection bottles of your choice between them — the whole seven-scent range with spares, if you spread the choice at checkout First. The wardrobe of a 4BHK is mostly a checkout decision, not a later purchase ₹7,596
2. Pack of 7 × 15ml All seven characters — 105ml at roughly ₹257 a bottle against ₹2,093 for seven singles, saving ₹294, with the seventh effectively free against six When the rooms have started smelling like each other, or when four people should re-choose ₹1,799
3. 300ml refill of the house signature Months of the common-zone scent across every ultrasonic tank at roughly ₹6 per ml against about ₹20 per ml in 15ml After a month, once one bottle has obviously won — and it will not be the one you predicted ₹1,799
4. 100ml of one bedroom's settled scent Depth in a room whose occupant has held the same choice for two months, at about ₹10 per ml without a 300ml commitment Only once a choice has actually settled ₹999
5. A single 15ml for a room that is changing A teenager's third opinion, a guest room being tested, a study finding its character — the cheapest honest experiment in the range Whenever somebody wants to try rather than commit ₹299
Not this: 300ml of two or three scents ₹3,598 or ₹5,397 of fragrance in a home that will still be working through it next year, bought for rooms whose occupants may change their minds One 300ml, of the signature only. The rest in 15ml and 100ml ₹1,799 each
Honest notes for buyers: the Sukoon covers 270–320 sq ft, which is why a studio needs exactly one and a 3BHK needs three or a Vaayu instead. Ultrasonic diffusers are water-based and add a little humidity to the room, which is a benefit in an AC-dry home and a consideration in a damp coastal one; they run SOSA's own water-based Hotel Collection fragrance and nothing else, because thicker essential and carrier oils clog the 2.4MHz misting plate. The Vaayu and the HVAC systems are waterless nebulisers running undiluted oil — a different technology, not a bigger Sukoon, and the better choice for long daily runs across connected space. Fragrance layers on top of clean air; it does not replace an extractor fan, an open window or a bin that gets emptied. The Hotel Collection scents are SOSA's own interpretations inspired by the world's finest hotels; SOSA is an independent Indian fragrance house, not affiliated with or endorsed by any hotel brand. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
300ml refill
What a four or six-tank home runs on
300ml refill ₹1,799
The worry about more machines is more running cost, and there is not much of one to budget for. A 300ml 300ml refill is ₹1,799 and works out at roughly ₹6 per ml, against about ₹20 per ml in 15ml bottles and about ₹10 per ml in 100ml. One bottle of the scent your common areas run on serves every ultrasonic tank in the flat for months. Buy it after a month, once one of the twelve or eighteen included bottles has clearly won — and expect that to be a different bottle from the one you were certain about in week one.

A note from Sonal

I have spent this whole cluster telling people to own fewer bottles than they want to, so it feels strange to arrive at a home where I say seven. But the reason is structural rather than a change of heart. In a small flat the bottles compete, because there is one air mass and one nose and every extra scent is a mood you are imposing on the same room. In a 4BHK they do not compete at all — five or six sealed volumes, four of them belonging to different people, and doors that stop a fragrance dead.

So the wardrobe is one signature and one per bedroom, and the sixth and seventh are occasions you should be able to name. The part I would like remembered is that most of this arrives free: twelve 15ml bottles come with four Sukoons at ₹7,596, so the whole range is a choice you make at checkout rather than a purchase you make later — as long as you resist ordering three of the same one. Where I will talk you out of spending is the second and third 300ml bottle. One 300ml of the scent your common zone has settled on is the right buy at roughly ₹6 per ml. A second one is 300ml of fragrance for a room whose occupant may want something else by March, and a bedroom that has just changed its mind is the system working rather than failing.

Everything is made and supported from Pune, and a part of every order funds girl-child education through Nanhi Kali. You get a home that smells like somewhere you chose; a girl gets a classroom. That equation has always felt right to me.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Hotel Collection fragrance wardrobe for a 4BHK?
One house signature held permanently in the connected common zone plus one character behind each bedroom door — five bottles in a four-bedroom flat — with one or two more for arrivals and the season. The Ritz-Carlton-inspired as the signature, The St. Regis-inspired in the master, 1 Hotels-inspired for a teenager or a study, Westin-inspired for a guest and Shangri-La-inspired in the fourth room.
How many Hotel Collection fragrances should a 4BHK own?
Five to seven, and this is the first Indian home size where that is honest rather than indulgent. Five is complete — a signature and four bedrooms. The sixth and seventh are occasions: an arrival scent and a winter one. Twelve 15ml bottles arrive free with four Sukoons at ₹7,596.
Is the Pack of 7 worth buying for a 4BHK?
Yes, and it is the natural buy at this size. The Pack of 7 × 15ml is ₹1,799 for 105ml — roughly ₹257 a bottle against ₹2,093 for seven bought singly at ₹299, a saving of ₹294. Six singles is ₹1,794, so the seventh is effectively free, and in a home where four people should each choose it is the cheapest way to let them.
Can the Vaayu run the same Hotel Collection bottles?
No. The Hotel Collection range is SOSA's own water-based fragrance for 2.4MHz ultrasonic diffusers, so it moves freely between every Sukoon and Boond in the flat. The Vaayu is waterless and runs undiluted oil — a different consumable, priced on its own product page.
Which size should I buy for each room?
15ml at ₹299 for anything still being decided, 100ml at ₹999 — about ₹10 per ml — for a bedroom whose occupant has held the same choice for two months, and one 300ml at ₹1,799 — roughly ₹6 per ml — for the house signature only. Two or three 300ml bottles is more fragrance than a 4BHK will use in a year.
