You want one high and the other low
Longevity is how long a fragrance lasts on you. Sillage is how far it reaches other people. They are separate properties and a good daily attar is high on the first and low on the second - present all day, perceptible only at close range. This is where a concentrated oil has a structural advantage over a spray: an alcohol base is a diffusion mechanism, designed to throw scent outward as it evaporates, while an oil has nothing pushing it off the skin at all.
