Procurement asks a different question from gifting, and it deserves a different page. You are not looking for something that feels generous; you are looking for a line item with predictable properties. Four axes decide it: scent strength, ease of use, replacement and what each vehicle costs. Three of the four have clean published answers. The fourth does not, and this page will say so rather than invent one: SOSA publishes retail prices of ₹449 to ₹509 and no rate at quantity of any kind, so your own arithmetic off that list is the only honest place to start.
The line a fleet model should actually be built around. SOSA car hanging freshener refills, 15ml, from ₹399 - larger than the 12ml bottle they refill and cheaper than buying that bottle again. They fit the hanging format and not the spray, which is why the strength decision on axis one quietly settles the replacement decision on axis three.
Quick answers — read this first
How do car fragrance formats compare for fleet procurement? On four axes. Strength: the hanging is mild, the spray is strong, and they cost the same. Ease: the hanging needs nothing fitted; Safar ₹3,999 is a device to charge. Replacement: a 15ml refill is ₹399 to ₹449. Cost: published retail is ₹449 to ₹509 and nothing below it is published.
Is there a rate for fleet quantities? No. SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no volume slab, no price break and no rate card. The retail band of ₹449 to ₹509 is the only published pricing, and a procurement team can do its own arithmetic off it in a minute. Anything beyond that is settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than printed.
What is the cheapest way to keep a fleet scented after the first purchase? The 15ml refill, at ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud. It holds more than the 12ml bottle and costs less than buying the unit again. It fits the hanging bottle, not the spray, so the format choice decides whether you have this option.
The short answer
Short answer: Compare on four axes. Scent strength: mild hanging against strong spray, both at Rs 449 to Rs 509, so strength is free to choose. Ease of use: the hanging needs nothing fitted, while SOSA Safar at Rs 3,999 is a device to charge. Replacement: a 15ml refill is Rs 399 to Rs 449, larger than the 12ml bottle and cheaper than a new unit. Cost: published retail only, with no rate at quantity published.
The pick: For most fleets: the mild hanging at ₹449 to ₹509 with the 15ml refill from ₹399 as the recurring line, held to two variants.
Why: It is the only option that scores well on all four axes at once - mild by default, nothing to fit, a cheaper top-up than the unit, and the lowest published figure in the car range.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
What should I compare when procuring car fragrance for a corporate fleet rather than for individual gifting?
Four axes, and it is worth taking them in the order below because the first two are settled by published facts and the last two are where the honest gaps sit. Scent strength. Every active SOSA car scent exists as a hanging with a mild scent-throw and a spray with a stronger one, at exactly the same price - Jasmine ₹449 either way, Lemon ₹499 either way. So strength is a free choice, and for a fleet carrying people who did not pick the scent, mild is the defensible default. Ease of use. The hanging is hooked on by whoever receives it and then ignored; nothing is fitted, charged, filled or serviced. SOSA Safar ₹3,999 is the cordless rechargeable alternative and a far nicer object, but it is a device, and no runtime or battery life is published to plan a charging habit around. Replacement. The 15ml refill is ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud. Two facts about it are both published and both useful: it is larger than the 12ml bottle it refills, and it costs less than buying the unit again. It fits the hanging, not the spray. What is not published is how often replacement is due - SOSA gives no duration for the hanging format, so a trial on a few vehicles is the only honest way to set a cadence. Cost against each vehicle. Published retail runs ₹449 to ₹509 for the hanging and ₹549 for the spray-only Mysore Orange Blossom. Be plain about the rest: SOSA publishes no rate at quantity, no bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no volume slab, no price break and no rate card. Your own arithmetic off the retail list is the only honest starting figure, and everything else is settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Three of the four procurement axes have published answers. The fourth - what the number becomes at fleet quantity - does not, and a page that prints one is printing fiction.
The fleet default on all four axes: the mild hanging at ₹449 to ₹509, with the 15ml refill from ₹399 as the recurring line rather than a new unit.
The four procurement axes, and what the published facts say about each
Take the axes in order of how much published fact sits behind them. Strength and ease are settled cleanly. Replacement is half settled. Cost is where you have to do your own work, and where most suppliers would quietly make something up.
1
Axis one
Scent strength: mild and strong cost exactly the same
This is the fact that reorganises the whole comparison, and procurement teams tend to like it because it removes a trade-off rather than creating one.
Every SOSA car scent with two formats is priced identically in both. The hanging is the mild scent-throw. The spray is the stronger one. Jasmine is ₹449 as a hanging and ₹449 as a spray. Sandalwood and Lavender are ₹479 either way. Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509, all either way.
So the specification question is purely: who sets the dose? A spray puts that in the hands of whoever holds the bottle. In a fleet vehicle that is a driver at the start of a shift, and the people affected are passengers who arrive later and have no way to reduce it. A mild hanging has a fixed output nobody can raise, which in procurement language is simply a tighter tolerance on the same line item at the same price.
The spray earns its place only where one named person uses the vehicle and doses it for themselves. That is a real case, and it is a smaller share of most fleets than people assume.
Tip: Identical prices mean strength is a specification choice, not a budget one.
2
Axes two and three
Ease of use, and what replacement actually costs
Ease of use. The hanging is the floor of this axis and nothing in the range beats it: a 12ml bottle with a cord, hooked over a mirror stalk, with no power, no water, no app, no charge cycle and no service visit. There is no training, no instruction sheet and nothing for a driver to get wrong. SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 sits at the other end - waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold diffusion, and genuinely the premium object in the car range - but it is a device. Somebody charges it, somebody looks after it, and no runtime, battery life or coverage figure is published, so you cannot build a charging routine from anything but observation.
Replacement. Here the published facts are unusually clean. A 15ml refill is ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud. It holds three millilitres more than the 12ml bottle it refills, and it costs less than buying that bottle again. For a recurring fleet line that is the number that matters, because the first purchase happens once and the top-up happens repeatedly.
One caveat that decides the format choice on its own: the refill fits the hanging bottle, not the spray. Specify the spray and you have no cheaper continuation at all - every top-up is a whole new unit at the full retail figure.
3
Axis four
What each vehicle costs, and the honest gap in the answer
This is the axis the rest of the internet answers dishonestly, so here is the whole of it.
What is published: the hanging retail band is ₹449 to ₹509 across eight scents - a spread of sixty rupees, which is worth noticing because it means there is no premium tier inside the format. The spray of the same scent is the same figure. Mysore Orange Blossom is ₹549 and spray only. Two-scent combos are ₹899 to ₹949. A 50ml spray is ₹1,499. Safar is ₹3,999. Those are retail prices a walk-in customer pays and they are all you need to build a first model: multiply the scent you want by the number of vehicles, add the refill line for the second round, and you have a defensible figure inside a minute.
What is not published, and will not be: no bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no volume slab, no price break, no rate card, no corporate rate and no payment terms. None of it exists on a page, so a number below retail from any source is somebody's guess dressed as a fact.
The practical route is unglamorous and it is the only accurate one. Do the arithmetic off the published list, take that as your baseline, and settle the rest on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Bulk orders are welcome. What they cost is a conversation, not a published figure, and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Tip: Build your baseline off retail. Anything below it is a conversation, not a published number.
The decision this whole category turns on
Hanging or spray is a scent-throw choice, not a budget choice
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two formats at the same price: the hanging is the mild scent-throw, the spray is the stronger one. Jasmine is ₹449 either way, Lemon ₹499 either way, Oud ₹509 either way. So the question is never which one you can afford - it is who controls the dose. Hand a car to somebody whose taste you have never asked about and the mild hanging is the safer object, because a person who finds a sealed car too loud cannot turn a scent down, only take it out.
Running the four-axis comparison in about fifteen minutes
Strength: choose the mild hanging. It costs the same as the strong spray of that scent.
Ease: prefer nothing to fit over a device to charge, unless one driver owns the car.
Replacement: budget the 15ml refill, Rs 399 to Rs 449, not a fresh unit each time.
Cost: model it off the Rs 449 to Rs 509 retail list, then take quantities to WhatsApp.
The SOSA principle
Gifting compares products by how they feel. Procurement compares them by how they behave when nobody is paying attention. On that second test the least impressive option in the range is usually the winner.
A mild hanging has no dose to get wrong, no battery to flatten and no tank to fill, and its top-up costs less than its first purchase. None of that is exciting, and all of it is what a fleet line item is judged on.
Variant count: the axis procurement people notice and gifting people do not
Variant count is the fifth axis nobody writes down, and for a fleet it matters more than scent preference. Eight hanging scents exist and that is eight lines to order, count and reconcile if you let it happen. Two is usually right. Icy Mint ₹489 is the strongest single standard because it reads as a cleaned vehicle rather than as perfume. Lemon ₹499 is the other workhorse and carries the cheapest refill at ₹399. Jasmine ₹449 is the lowest published figure in the range and the quietest floral. Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479 read as more considered and suit named-user vehicles better than pool ones. Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509 carry the most character in the range, which makes them poor fleet standards and good personal choices. Note there is no premium tier within the hanging format: the whole spread is sixty rupees, so a request to make it feel more substantial has to be answered by changing the object - a two-scent combo at ₹899 to ₹949, or Safar at ₹3,999 - rather than by upgrading the scent.
The SOSA gift edit
The four options a fleet actually chooses between, scored on the four axes
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
Mild hanging · ₹449 to ₹509
Strength: mild, fixed, nobody can raise it. Ease: nothing to fit, charge or fill. Replacement: the 15ml refill at ₹399 to ₹449 is larger than the bottle and cheaper than a new unit. Cost: the lowest published figures in the car range. The gap is duration, which is not published for this format.
Spray, same scent · identical price
Strength: strong, and set by whoever holds the bottle rather than by the specification. Ease: nothing to fit, but it needs a person to use it. Replacement: no cheaper path at all, because the 15ml refills fit the hanging bottle and not the spray. Cost: identical to the hanging, which is why strength is the only real difference.
15ml refill · ₹399 to ₹449
Not a first purchase but the recurring line, and the one a fleet model should be built around. It holds more than the 12ml bottle and costs less than replacing the unit. It only applies if you specified the hanging. How often it is due is not published, so establish it on a small group of vehicles first.
SOSA Safar · ₹3,999
Strength: adjustable by the user, which is an advantage for a named driver. Ease: a device, so somebody charges and maintains it, with no published runtime or battery life. Replacement: waterless nebuliser refills are ₹1,049 for 100gm and ₹1,849 for 300gm. Cost: the highest line in the car range by a wide margin.
What happens after the gift
The 15ml refill is bigger than the 12ml bottle and costs less than a new unit
Refills run ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud - against ₹449 to ₹509 for the unit itself. This matters for one honest reason and not the flattering one: a gift that can be continued without being sold to is a different object from a gift that simply runs out. Whether anybody continues it is up to them, and no supplier can promise you they will.
One structural point that catches procurement teams comparing upwards. There is a published price gap between ₹949 and ₹1,499 with nothing in it. The ladder runs single unit ₹449 to ₹549, then two-scent combos ₹899 to ₹949, then straight to a 50ml spray at ₹1,499, then the three-spray Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899 sitting alongside rather than above, and finally Safar at ₹3,999. It is not a smooth ladder and you should not model it as one. If a senior tier of the fleet needs something visibly different from the standard line, the honest steps are the combo and then Safar, with nothing useful in between.
The lowest-priced hanging in the range at ₹449, and the reason most per-car budgets get built around this number. Available as the mild hanging or the stronger spray at the same ₹449.
Eight scents from ₹399. The refill is 15ml against the 12ml bottle it refills, and costs less than buying the unit again - so the person who was given one can carry on without being sold to.
Three sprays from ₹699, or all nine at ₹2,999. The honest answer when the recipient's taste is genuinely unknown: let them find out rather than guessing on their behalf.
from ₹699
When one particular car is not part of the programme
SOSA Safar ₹3,999 for a car, SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 for the building it is parked at
Safar is the waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold-diffusion perfume diffuser for a car or a travel bag - ₹3,999 for the SOSA-scent trios and ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios. It is not a volume gift and should not be described as one; it is what a business reaches for when a single handover genuinely warrants it. Vaayu is the same waterless idea sized for a building: cold-air nebulising of undiluted oil, rated for approximately 1000 m3 of connected air, with a Bluetooth app and timer, a 400ml tank, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, DC 12V / 1A 5W mains power and CE, RoHS and SGS marks - which makes it a showroom or workshop question rather than a gifting one. Both run waterless nebuliser oil at ₹1,049 for 100 gm and ₹1,849 for 300 gm, and neither takes the ₹299 water-based Hotel Collection bottle. No runtime, battery life or coverage figure is published for Safar. Both add a scent to a space; neither removes one.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
Procurement does not need a fragrance that impresses. It needs one whose behaviour you can describe in a single sentence and whose second purchase is cheaper than its first. Only one format in this range is both.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Every price above is the published retail price on the live SOSA product page, which is what any business should build its own arithmetic on. SOSA does not publish a bulk rate, a minimum order quantity, a slab, a dispatch window or any commercial term, and nothing on this page should be read as one. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; quantities and everything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than priced on a page. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest price sheet
What SOSA publishes, and what SOSA does not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
The same scents as sprays, at the same price. Hanging is the mild scent-throw, spray is the stronger one, and they cost the same - so the choice is about who controls the dose, not about money. Mysore Orange Blossom ₹549 is a spray only and has no hanging format.
Combos and sets - two-scent combos ₹899 to ₹949, the Discovery Set of three sprays ₹699 to ₹899, all nine sprays ₹2,999, and 50ml sprays ₹1,499. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios.
Duration - the only car product publishing a figure is Mysore Orange Blossom: 10ml is about 100 sprays lasting about 3 months, 50ml is about 500 sprays lasting about a year or more. Those numbers belong to that spray and to nothing else. No duration is published for the hanging format.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum order quantity, slab or volume discount; any dispatch, delivery or cut-off timing; any payment, invoicing or credit term; case packs, carton sizes or unit weights; any claim that a gift will change a customer's behaviour, a survey score or a repeat rate; and any claim that a fragrance removes, neutralises or purifies anything. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Buying for a business rather than for one person? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: roughly how many vehicles or people a month, whether the recipient chooses the scent or you do, whether you want the mild hanging or the stronger spray, and whether the label needs to carry your logo. You will get one straight answer rather than a catalogue. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, any minimum order quantity, any slab or volume discount, any dispatch or delivery timing, and any payment or invoicing term. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the whole of the branding offer, and there is no custom box, printed sleeve, insert card, gift wrap or hamper. There is no dealer, partner or reseller programme; everything commercial is a conversation on WhatsApp. Bespoke composition, a fragrance composed for you by Sonal, is a real SOSA service and is also discussed there. Where SOSA is: SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. There is no SOSA shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city, so anything here about Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru or anywhere else is about the businesses and the cars in those cities and not about a local branch.

A note from Sonal
The businesses that write to SOSA about car fragrance almost never open with a question about fragrance. They open with a question about a drawer. Somebody ordered five hundred of something last year, and most of it is still sitting in a drawer at the back of the showroom, and nobody wants to repeat that.
What makes a car product different from the keychain and the diary is not that it is nicer. It is that there is nowhere to put it away. A hanging perfume is hanging. It is not in a bag to be taken home and forgotten; it is in the one enclosed space the person is going to sit in tomorrow morning. That is an argument about geometry rather than about generosity, and it is the only argument for this category I am willing to make.
The thing I would push back on hardest is the instinct to buy the strongest one. When you are choosing on somebody else's behalf, and you will never meet most of them, the mild hanging is the correct choice and it costs exactly the same as the spray. A person who finds a scent too loud in a sealed car cannot turn it down; they can only take it out. Quiet is what lets a gift survive contact with a stranger's taste.
And the part I will not pretend about: I cannot tell you this will bring anyone back. No fragrance house can honestly tell a business what a gift will do to its numbers. What I can tell you is what the product is, what it costs, and what happens when somebody likes it enough to buy the refill themselves - which is the only loyalty any of us actually earns.
Frequently asked questions
What should a fleet compare when buying car fragrance rather than gifts?
Four things. Scent strength: the mild hanging and the strong spray of the same scent cost exactly the same, Rs 449 to Rs 509, so strength is free to specify. Ease of use: the hanging needs nothing fitted or charged. Replacement: the 15ml refill is Rs 399 to Rs 449. Cost: published retail only, with your own arithmetic as the baseline.
Does the price change for fleet quantities?
SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no volume slab, no price break and no rate card. The published retail band of Rs 449 to Rs 509 for the hanging is the only pricing on any page, so it is the only honest basis for a model. Bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Is the refill genuinely cheaper than buying the unit again?
Yes, and it is also larger. The 15ml refill is Rs 399 for Lemon and Jasmine, Rs 429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and Rs 449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud, against a 12ml bottle at Rs 449 to Rs 509. The important caveat for procurement: the refill fits the hanging bottle and not the spray.
How often does a fleet need to replace a hanging car perfume?
SOSA does not publish a duration for the hanging format, so there is no cadence to put in a plan. The only SOSA car product publishing figures is the Mysore Orange Blossom spray at roughly 100 sprays in the 10ml. Run a small group of vehicles across a hot month and a mild one and set the rhythm from what you observe.
Is SOSA Safar worth considering for a fleet at Rs 3,999?
It is the premium object in the car range: waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold diffusion. For procurement it scores well on user control and poorly on everything else, because it is a device that has to be charged and maintained, no runtime or battery life is published, and it sits far above every other line in the range.
Take the next step
Model it off the published list, then take the quantity to WhatsApp
The mild hanging at ₹449 to ₹509 wins three of the four axes outright and ties the fourth, and the 15ml refill from ₹399 is the recurring line underneath it. SOSA publishes no rate at quantity, so build your baseline from the retail figures, hold the programme to two variants, and settle quantities and a logo on the label with SOSA on WhatsApp.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

SOSA does not publish a bulk rate, a minimum order quantity, a volume slab or discount, a dispatch or delivery window, an order cut-off, a payment or credit term, a rate card, a case pack, a carton size or a unit weight, and none is stated anywhere on this page; bulk orders are welcome and are discussed on WhatsApp. The only branding available is a custom label or logo on product - there is no custom box, printed sleeve, insert card, gift wrap or hamper service. There is no dealer, partner or reseller programme. About SOSA's location: SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, and sends orders across India. SOSA has no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru or any other city, and nothing on this page should be read as claiming one; where a city is named, it refers to the businesses and the cars in that city and nothing more. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent and does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify odour, and no SOSA product makes any health, antibacterial, air-purifying or wellbeing claim, nor any claim about being suitable for children, pets or any medical condition. No claim is made anywhere on this page about what a gift will do to a business result - not to a satisfaction or survey score, not to repeat business, referrals, reviews, retention or recall. Those outcomes depend on the business and not on a fragrance, and no fragrance house can honestly promise them. No claim is made about how any recipient will feel. No duration is published or implied for the hanging format. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
