A car is the smallest space any of us scents, and the one we sit closest to. Two or three cubic metres of air, a metre from your face, with the windows up and the heater on for four months of the year. I say this to customers constantly and it still surprises people: almost every car fragrance problem I am sent is a dose problem, not a scent problem. The bottle is not weak and the oil is not wrong. The cabin simply gives fragrance nowhere to go, and winter takes away the little ventilation that was rescuing you in October.
That is why we sell the hanging bottle and the spray at the same price. They are the same oil. One gives you a mild level that is always there and asks nothing of you; the other gives you a strong level the moment you decide you want one. Neither is the better product, and pricing them differently would only push people toward whichever we wanted to sell. Choose by how you drive: a long daily commute is a hanging car, a car that matters most when somebody else gets into it is a spray car, and plenty of people quite sensibly run both.

Do I need two hanging bottles in a Harrier?
Almost certainly not. The reason large SUVs sometimes need a second source is distance: a hanging bottle at the rear-view mirror is a point source at the front of the cabin, and in a three-row car the last row sits a long way from it. A two-row cabin keeps every seat close enough that one bottle at the mirror produces a level at the rear bench which is broadly comparable to the front. It will be slightly weaker at the back, because a gradient is a gradient, but most owners never notice and never need to act on it. If you want a strong level at a particular moment, such as before collecting someone, the honest tool is a 10ml spray of the same scent at the same price rather than a second hanging bottle, because a spray gives you control over when as well as where.
Is there a car perfume made specifically for a Tata Harrier?

How do I know whether the level is right?
By leaving the car and coming back to it. Within a few minutes of sitting in a scented cabin your perception of that scent drops sharply, so every judgement you make from the driver's seat is made from inside an adapted state and reliably runs high - which is exactly why people keep adding. Set the level, go and do something else for five or ten minutes, then open a passenger door and take the first breath as if you were a visitor. That is what anyone getting in actually meets. If it is more than a pleasant impression of a well-kept car, tighten the stopper a quarter turn or drop a spray. Do this once at the start of winter and once around the middle of it, and you will not need to think about it again.
Hanging bottle or spray for a Harrier used every day?
For a daily-driven car the hanging bottle is usually the better baseline, and the price is identical either way so this is purely a use-case decision. A hanging 12ml gives a mild continuous throw for four to six weeks through refillable glass, with an adjustable stopper that is your winter control, and it means the car smells composed every time a door opens without anyone thinking about it. A 10ml spray gives a strong throw exactly when you choose, at 100 sprays a bottle, and it suits a car that is mostly empty and occasionally carrying someone whose impression matters. Plenty of owners run both, which is a legitimate arrangement rather than a compromise: the bottle holds the baseline, the spray in the door pocket handles the evening someone is getting in.
Is Oud too heavy for a large SUV in winter?
It is not too heavy for the car, but it is the easiest register in the range to over-dose in a heated closed cabin, and those are different statements. SOSA describes Oud as naturally-derived agarwood, warm and smokeless, with resinous wood at the top, agarwood warmth at the heart and an amber musk base, and positions it for evening and pre-event drives. In winter, with almost no air exchange and a faster release rate, a deep resinous register builds quickly. If it still feels like too much by the second week, tighten it further before concluding it does not suit the car.
