Cosy is warm, low and slightly enclosed - a room that feels like it is holding you. You can get there with roasted coffee and vanilla, or with a powdery lavender, or with dry cedar, and only the first of those three is sweet in any sense. I would say the majority of people who write to me disappointed with a cosy scent bought something dessert-like and put eight reeds in a small room.
