A kitchen produces strong, warm, shifting smells for hours every day, and no home fragrance sits comfortably on top of a tadka. Putting a signature scent into a kitchen means either running it high enough to fight the food, which is unpleasant and expensive, or running it low enough that it is inaudible under the cooking, which is pointless. Deal with the kitchen at source: extraction that actually vents, a closed door where the layout allows, and airing straight after cooking. The bathroom is similar but for different reasons, since it has a functional requirement of its own, and there is nothing unrefined about treating it separately. Attempting to force these two rooms into the signature is the most common way people end up disliking their own fragrance.

A bedroom is a long-exposure room. Eight hours of sleep is a far greater dose than three hours in a living room, so whatever is comfortable in the hall is usually a step too much beside a pillow. I get asked this constantly, usually by someone who has read that a signature means one scent everywhere and is quietly wondering whether that includes the kitchen. It does not. The rule that actually matters is that the space you move through continuously has to carry one fragrance, because air moves between those rooms freely and because a signature is by definition a single smell attached to a single place. Everything else is negotiable.
The kitchen is the exception I am firmest about, and it is not a compromise, it is correct. A kitchen has a job and that job produces smells, and putting a home fragrance into that argument means either shouting over the food or being inaudible under it. Extraction and airing own the kitchen. The bathroom similarly has its own functional requirement, and there is nothing inelegant about treating it separately.
