Do you want the mist and the soft light as part of how your evening ends? Is your bedroom dry and heavily air-conditioned, so that a little added moisture would be welcome? If any one of those is a yes, buy the Sukoon. If all three are no, buy a reed and spend the difference on something else.
The Sukoon at ₹1,899 is a genuinely lovely object and I am not talking anyone out of it. It gives you adjustable output, a timer and a 7-colour light, and it runs on water-based Hotel Collection fragrance from ₹299. What it asks for in return is a plug point, a tank you empty and dry, and a room that can take a little extra humidity. Evening Calm at ₹799 asks for nothing at all and simply holds the room for six to eight weeks.
The cautions I insist on.
