The comparison you are trying to make has two columns, and it is worth knowing before you start that only one of them contains numbers anybody has published. The retail prices are on the store and you can read them today. Everything on the other side - what a business pays at your volume, and what an object is worth in a customer's head - is either unpublished or unknowable, and any page that fills those cells for you is guessing. What is genuinely comparable is structural: a reduction and an object do different things to the same transaction, and that difference is checkable without a single figure.
The published side of the comparison. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. No rate for regular buying is published; that part is a conversation.
Quick answers — read this first
Is it better to give a discount or a physical gift on the same budget? They are not the same kind of thing, which is the honest starting point. A reduction is subtracted inside the invoice and changes the document. An object handed over after the invoice closes is a separate transaction and does not touch it. SOSA car perfume is ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, published at one price in both forms.
What would a gift like this cost a business buying regularly? That figure does not exist on any page. SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time, and this page will not invent one to complete your sum. Published retail is ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml. Anything beyond that is a conversation on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531, not a number on a page.
Can anyone say what a customer thinks a gift is worth? No, and it is the most tempting claim in this whole category. SOSA publishes no figure for what any object is worth in a customer's head and there is no honest way to produce one. What is checkable is what the object costs, what it is made of, where it goes and who decides when it is used.
The short answer
Short answer: You can compare structure, not value. A reduction is subtracted inside the invoice and edits the record of what your work was worth; an object handed over after the invoice closes never enters that arithmetic. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, and no bulk rate is published.
The pick: Compare the structure first, then the published retail: ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml, with both forms at one price.
Why: Because the only cells anybody can fill honestly are the published prices and the mechanics of what each option does to your own invoice. The rest is a conversation.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We currently give roughly Rs 500 off each invoice and are considering putting part of that budget into a physical gift instead. What is actually comparable between the two?
Three of the four cells you want are empty, so start with the one that is full. Structure is comparable and it needs no data at all. A reduction is applied inside the invoice: it is subtracted from your own figure, it is printed, and both of you keep a copy. That document is the permanent record of what your work was worth, and the next time you quote the same customer, your own quote has to argue with the number you wrote down. An object handed over after the invoice closes never enters that arithmetic. Your figure stands at full value on the page, and a second, separate thing happens afterwards. That is the entire structural difference, it is checkable on your own paperwork, and nobody needs to publish anything for it to be true. Now the cells that are empty. What SOSA charges a business buying regularly is not published anywhere: there is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time, so the column headed what this costs us is a conversation on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than a page you can read. And SOSA publishes no figure for what an object is worth in somebody else's head, which is the claim this question invites and the one this page refuses. What is published is the retail side. SOSA car perfume is ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, in two variants at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). All of it is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A reduction is written into a document you both keep. It is the only part of this comparison that changes what your own work is recorded as being worth, and that is a fact about your paperwork, not a claim about anybody's behaviour.
The published side of the sum: the 12ml range, ₹449 to ₹509 - spray or hanging at the same price. Everything about buying regularly is a conversation, not a rate.
Three things to settle before you move any of that budget
Three things, in this sequence: what the two options do to your paperwork, which cells of your comparison are actually fillable, and what nobody may claim about the rest.
1
The first thing
A reduction and an object do different things to the same invoice
This is the part of the comparison that is genuinely checkable, and it has nothing to do with anybody's opinion. A reduction happens inside the document. You write your figure, you subtract from it, and what prints is a smaller number with your name on it. Both parties keep that. It is dated, it is specific, and it is now the record of what this piece of your work was worth.
The practical consequence turns up later rather than on the day. When the same customer asks you to price similar work again, your own quote has to argue with the figure you printed last time. Not because the customer is difficult, but because a written number is the only reference point either of you has. You created the reference point yourself, deliberately, as a gesture.
An object handed over after the invoice closes does not enter that arithmetic at all. Your figure stands at its full value in the record. Whatever happens next is a separate event with no line on the document. That is the structural difference between the two uses of the same budget, and notice what it is not: it is not a claim that one works better. It is a description of what each one does to a piece of paper that will still exist in a year.
Tip: The reduction edits the record of what your work was worth. The object leaves it alone.
2
The second thing
Which cells of your comparison can actually be filled
Draw the table you were about to draw and be strict about what goes in it. The published column is real.SOSA car perfume is ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. The combos are ₹899, and the Oud and Sandalwood combos ₹949. The Discovery Sets run ₹699 to ₹899 with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Both forms of every 12ml scent are one price, so no cell in that column depends on which form you choose.
The column headed what this costs us at our volume is empty, and it is not coy. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time published anywhere on the store, and there is no trade programme, no dealer pricing and no account structure behind it either. That is not a negotiating stance, it is simply a thing that does not exist as a published document. Bulk orders are welcome and the number gets settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531, with your monthly volume in the first message.
Which means the table you end up with is honest but lopsided: one column you can read today, one column that is a five-minute conversation, and one column - the third - that nobody should be filling at all.
3
The third thing
The claim this question invites, and why it is refused here
The tempting sentence is that an object is worth more to the customer than it costs you. That claim is not made on this page and it should not be made to you by anybody selling one. SOSA publishes no figure for what an object is worth in somebody else's head, no study behind such a figure, and no comparison against a reduction. Nor does any other fragrance house, whatever a deck shows you. The number would have to come from somewhere, and there is nowhere for it to come from.
SOSA equally cannot tell you that customers will come back. No data on repeat behaviour, referrals or how a business is judged exists here or anywhere in this category. What is knowable is the mechanism, and it is modest: a sealed bottle goes into a vehicle, it needs no fitting and no explanation, and it gets used in a place the owner spends real time.
Two smaller blanks belong in the same list, because they are the ones people assume are published. No published life exists for a 12ml bottle in either form, for any scent - the single exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, at about 100 sprays in the 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays in the 50ml (₹1,499). And no cost per spray can be given honestly for anything, so treat any such figure you are shown as arithmetic somebody did on a number that was not solid.
Tip: Two columns can be filled. The third is a claim, and no supplier can substantiate it.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
How to build the comparison without inventing anything
Write what each option does to the invoice. That part needs no data at all.
Fill the published column from the store: Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml.
Send your monthly volume to WhatsApp. No rate exists to read beforehand.
Leave the third column blank. Nobody can fill it, including your supplier.
The SOSA principle
A reduction is not simply a smaller number. It is a dated, printed statement of what this piece of your work was worth, held by both parties, and it is the reference point your own next quote will have to argue with.
An object handed over once the invoice has closed never enters that arithmetic. That is a fact about your paperwork, and it is the only part of this comparison that is true without data.
Which scent, and what the rest of the range costs
If you do move part of the budget, the scent question is narrower than the range. Jasmine at ₹449 is the lowest published price and the least likely to be actively disliked by somebody who did not pick it. Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean. Sandalwood at ₹479 and Lavender at ₹479 sit in the middle of the published range. Oud at ₹509 and Sea Breeze at ₹509 are the top of the 12ml list. Because both forms are one price, the only thing the scent changes is the figure, by sixty rupees across the whole range - which is worth knowing before anybody spends an afternoon on it. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
The SOSA gift edit
Four ways to spend the same budget, and what each does to your own records
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
A reduction on the invoice · your current approach
Understood instantly and needs nothing explained. It is subtracted inside the document, so it permanently edits the record of what this work was worth, and your next quote to the same customer has to argue with that printed figure.
The spray · ₹449 to ₹509
Handed over after the invoice closes, so your figure stands at full value in the record. It fails as a like-for-like swap: the customer cannot price it the way they can price a reduction, and nobody can tell you what they make of it.
The hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509
Identical published price, working from the moment it goes in, and refillable later from a 15ml bottle at ₹399 to ₹449. It fails when the owner would not have chosen it, since it takes the mirror rather than a door pocket.
What this costs at your volume · not on any page
No rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time is published, so this cell cannot be filled from a website and nothing here invents it. Bulk orders are welcome and the figure is settled by message with your monthly volume.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
The rest of the range, in published prices so you can finish the column. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios at ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - the trios are fixed rather than chosen. Jasmine and Lemon and Jasmine and Lavender are ₹899; Oud and Lemon and Sandalwood and Oud are ₹949 as combos. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they belong to the hanging bottle - there is no spray refill product at all, only a system described as in development.SOSA Safar is ₹3,999, a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, which is a different budget conversation entirely. The fragrances are made in India. The Safar device is imported, with a country of origin of China.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
A reduction is a dated line on a document you both keep. An object handed over once that document has closed is a separate event, and your own figure never moves.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Is a physical gift worth more to the customer than the same money taken off the bill?
Nobody can tell you that and this page will not. SOSA publishes no figure for what an object is worth in somebody else's head, and no supplier in this category holds one either. What can be compared honestly is structure: a reduction is subtracted inside the invoice and becomes the record of what your work was worth, while an object handed over afterwards leaves that figure untouched. Which of those you prefer is your judgement.
What would these cost us buying regularly rather than one at a time?
That is not published. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time anywhere on the store, and no trade programme behind it. Published retail is Rs 449 for Jasmine, Rs 479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, Rs 489 for Icy Mint, Rs 499 for Lemon, and Rs 509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. Bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Does choosing the hanging version save money over the spray?
No. Both forms of every 12ml scent are published at one price, named by the store as Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw. The choice is who decides when the scent starts and whether anything stays visible in the cabin. Nobody should be presenting either one as the cheaper or the dearer option.
Can you work out what one application costs so we can compare it to a discount?
No, and it is better to say so than to produce a number. SOSA publishes no usage figure for the 12ml bottles in either form, and the one product that does publish spray counts is Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, at approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml at Rs 549 and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml at Rs 1,499. Any arithmetic beyond that is somebody's estimate rather than a published fact.
If we keep the discount and add a small gift, does that double the spend?
On your own paperwork, yes: the reduction still comes out of the invoice and the object is bought separately. That is exactly why the structural question comes before the budget question. Work out first whether you want the record of your price edited at all, then decide how much of the budget sits on each side. Published retail starts at Rs 449 and no rate for regular buying is published.
Take the next step
Settle the structure first, then send one message about volume
The spray at ₹449 to ₹509 when you want your invoice figure left alone and the cabin decision left with the owner. The hanging bottle at the same price when the scent should be present immediately. A Discovery Set from ₹699 where one bottle looks thin against the job. No bulk rate, minimum or price break is published, so bring your monthly volume rather than looking for a list.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.
