SOSA makes no white musk attar and no musk soliflore; white musk is only ever a base note. So your three exclusions are a question about pyramids, and the published pyramids answer it exactly, including the one place where the answer is only a partial yes.
Quick answers — read this first
Can a modern musk smell luxurious without florals or amber? Yes, if the richness comes from structure rather than sweetness: a clean citrus opening, a dry wood floor and a quiet musk underneath. White musk is a base note, never a SOSA product on its own, so you are choosing a pyramid.

Which SOSA attar has no vanilla, no amber, no strong floral? Only SOSA Adaa. Mastani has vanilla and tonka, Ameeri and Nawaab have amber, and Adaa's heart is jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang, so it passes two exclusions and the floral one only in part. From ₹379 for 3ml.

Is there a white musk attar I can buy instead? No. SOSA makes no white musk attar and no musk soliflore of any kind; white musk is a base note in Adaa, Ameeri and Nawaab. The full explanation sits in the page that owns this gap.
The short answer
Short answer: Yes, but not from a musk product, because SOSA makes none. Adaa is the one attar with no vanilla and no amber, and its white-flower heart is the part you must test.
The pick: One 3ml of SOSA Adaa at ₹379, one dab, judged at hours one and three so you can tell whether the flowers are strong to your nose.
Next step: Tell us which flowers you mean by strong, and what you have worn that went wrong, and we will say whether Adaa clears your line. Ask for an attar recommendation.
Three exclusions, four attars, one left standingMastani: vanilla and tonka in the base. OutAmeeri: amber in the base, Taif rose in the heart. OutNawaab: amber and leather in the base. OutAdaa: no vanilla, no amber; the heart is white flowersAdaa from Rs 379 for 3ml; judge the heart at hour three
Your three exclusions run against the four published pyramids. Three attars fail outright, and the fourth passes vanilla and amber and meets the floral exclusion only in part, which is why the page is about that one gap.
The one that clears most of the brief, then the two that fail it
Straight answer
Can a Modern Musk Smell Luxurious Without Strong Florals, Vanilla or Amber?
It can, and the range answers it by elimination. There is no white musk attar at SOSA, so the question is which pyramid is left once vanilla, amber and strong florals are taken out. One is, with a caveat. Here are the steps.

1. Say the gap first. SOSA makes no white musk attar and no musk soliflore of any kind. White musk is a base note in SOSA Adaa, SOSA Ameeri and SOSA Nawaab, and never the subject. If you wanted musk as the whole fragrance, nothing here is that; the fuller version is in the page that owns the gap.

2. Rule out Mastani, and notice it has no musk anyway. Its base is Mysore sandalwood, oudh, Madagascar vanilla and tonka, so vanilla alone removes it. White musk is not in that base at all, so it was never a musk answer to begin with.

3. Rule out Ameeri and Nawaab on amber. Both carry amber in the base, Ameeri under Taif rose and Indian sandalwood with some soft oudh, Nawaab under white royal oud with leather and aged tobacco leaf. One exclusion is enough to remove each of them.

4. Be straight that Adaa meets the floral exclusion only in part. Its heart is jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang. It has no vanilla, no amber and no oudh, but it does have white flowers in the middle hours, and whether they count as strong is a judgement your nose makes, not mine.

5. Build the luxury from structure. Without sweetness to lean on, a musk reads as rich through a clean Calabrian bergamot opening and a dry floor of white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. Adaa is composed that way, and a 3ml at ₹379 is how you find out whether it is luxurious to you.

Nobody can promise you that a fragrance will read as luxurious to anyone but you, and I will not try. What I can do is show which exclusions each attar clears, and let one dab on your own skin settle the one it only half clears.
No white musk attar exists at SOSA. Rule out strong florals, vanilla and amber and SOSA Adaa at ₹379 is the only attar left, clearing two exclusions and the floral one only in part.
What to buy when you have ruled out vanilla, amber and strong florals
The product SOSA Adaa, with white musk in its base beside vetiver and cedarwood. An alcohol-free roll-on on a sandalwood and jojoba carrier, hand-blended in Pune, with no vanilla, no amber and no oudh in the published pyramid.
The size to start on The 3ml, at ₹379. It is a test of one specific doubt, the flowers, and the 6ml at ₹669 can wait until the doubt is answered.
Dabs, and where One dab on the chest, not the wrist, so the heart is not under your nose all morning. One dab is quiet enough to forget and two is not, and a floral heart is where the sentence gets loud.
At hour three The jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang should have thinned, leaving white musk with vetiver and cedarwood. If a flower is still the first thing you notice, Adaa fails your brief and I would rather you knew.
What it costs to stay on it Nothing beyond the 3ml until you have run three ordinary days. SOSA states 6–8 hours on skin, which is plenty of time to hear the heart and the base.
I would not tell you Adaa clears every exclusion, because it does not: the heart is white flowers and I will not rename them. What I can say is that it is the one attar I make with no sweetness to hide behind, and a 3ml tells you in an afternoon whether the flowers bother you.

Buy one 3ml of SOSA Adaa at ₹379 and use it to test a single question: do jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang count as strong florals to you? The top is Calabrian bergamot, green cardamom and neroli, the base is white musk, vetiver and cedarwood, and there is no vanilla, no amber and no oudh. An alcohol-free roll-on, hand-blended in Pune. One dab on the chest, judged at hours one and three.

Which attar fails which exclusion

SOSA makes four attars, all alcohol-free, DPG-free roll-on oils on a sandalwood and jojoba carrier, in 3ml, 6ml and 12ml. Three exclusions sit on the brief: strong florals, vanilla and amber. Two of the cards below fail it, one outright and one in a way that surprises people, and the third is the page's whole point.

SOSA Adaa
Clears vanilla and amber, meets florals in part
SOSA Adaa
₹379 for 3ml, ₹669 for 6ml, ₹1,149 for 12ml. Calabrian bergamot, green cardamom and neroli over jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang, on white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. No vanilla, no amber, no oudh. The white-flower heart is the part to test, and it is the only reason this card carries a caveat.
From ₹379
SOSA Mastani
Out on vanilla, and not a musk attar either
SOSA Mastani
₹389 for 3ml, ₹685 for 6ml, ₹1,179 for 12ml. Litchi, bergamot and pink pepper over night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose, on Mysore sandalwood, oudh, Madagascar vanilla and tonka. Vanilla removes it, the two florals remove it again, and there is no white musk in its published base. A fine attar for a different brief.
From ₹389
SOSA Nawaab
The surprise: no florals at all, and still out on amber
SOSA Nawaab · alcohol-free roll-on attar
₹399 for 3ml, ₹699 for 6ml, ₹1,199 for 12ml. White royal oud, Mysore sandalwood, Kashmir saffron and aged tobacco leaf over amber, leather and white musk. It publishes no floral heart, so it clears two of your exclusions and fails the third, and it is also the deepest, most oud-led attar in the range, which is not a quiet musk.

What luxurious means in a musk, and what it does not

Luxurious is a judgement, and I cannot make it for you. What I can do is separate the structural reasons a musk reads as rich from the ones you have just ruled out, so you know what Adaa has to do on its own.

1
One
What strong florals means, and what Adaa's heart actually is
Strong can mean two things. It can mean a floral that dominates the whole wear, or it can mean any floral you can name. Adaa's heart is jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang: three white flowers, with magnolia the airy one, jasmine the bright one and ylang ylang the creamy one. They sit between a citrus opening and a dry base, so they are a middle stage, not the whole fragrance. If strong means dominant, Adaa mostly clears it. If strong means any recognisable flower in the first hours, it does not, and you should say so now.
Tip: Wear it on one ordinary morning and note at hours one, two and three whether a flower is still the first thing you notice.
SOSA Adaa
Adaa at ₹379: three white flowers in the heart, between a bergamot opening and a white musk, vetiver and cedarwood floor. The heart is the test.

Why vanilla and amber are the shortcuts to a rich musk
Vanilla and amber are sweet, warm materials, and a musk with either in its base feels upholstered almost at once. That is why you have noticed them: they are the quickest route to rich, and the one you have decided against. Take them out and the richness has to come from somewhere slower, which is dry wood, a good citrus and restraint. Mastani carries Madagascar vanilla and tonka in its base. Ameeri and Nawaab both carry amber. Adaa carries neither, which is exactly why it feels leaner and why it is the only one that survives.
Tip: If you miss the warmth after a week, that tells you the exclusion was about the word, not the smell. Ameeri is then the honest next step.
SOSA Mastani
Mastani at ₹389 puts Madagascar vanilla and tonka in the base, the exact material you excluded, and carries no white musk at all.
See SOSA Mastani →

Three
Where a musk gets its richness when sweetness is banned
Structure. A named, bright citrus such as Calabrian bergamot gives the opening some precision. Vetiver and cedarwood give the base a dry, upright spine that stops white musk turning creamy or sweet. And restraint, which is the hardest ingredient to specify, shows up as a short pyramid with nothing in it that you did not ask for. All four SOSA attars sit on the same sandalwood and jojoba carrier, so a faint woody softness runs underneath each one. In Adaa nothing sweet is on top of it.
Tip: Judge the floor at hour three. A dry base that is still quiet then is doing the work vanilla and amber would have done.
SOSA Ameeri
Ameeri at ₹385 shows the other route: Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, soft oudh and amber, a richer base and one of your exclusions.
See SOSA Ameeri →
The SOSA principle
A musk can be made rich in two ways: with sweetness, which is fast and obvious, or with structure, which is slow and quiet. Ruling out vanilla and amber rules out the fast route, and whatever is left has to earn the word luxurious over hours.
That is a reason to read the pyramid before the adjectives. Check the base for the two materials you excluded, check the heart for what you would call strong, and only then ask whether the opening is clean.
SOSA Adaa
The one attar left after all three exclusions: Adaa at ₹379: Calabrian bergamot, green cardamom and neroli over jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang, on white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. The lightest of the four, with no oudh, in 3ml, 6ml and 12ml.

The four attars, checked against your exclusions

Here are the three exclusions run against each published pyramid. Only one row is a clean answer on vanilla and amber, and the same row is the one with the floral caveat, so the table says where each attar actually fails.

The SOSA plan
Each attar against strong florals, vanilla and amber
The attar, and what its pyramid publishes Verdict against your three exclusions
SOSA AdaaAdaa: white-flower heart, musk, vetiver, cedarwood base
Passes vanilla and amber outright. Meets strong florals only in part: jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang are in the heart, and you decide whether that counts as strong. The one attar left. View →
SOSA AmeeriAmeeri: Taif rose heart, soft oudh, amber and musk base
Fails amber, and Taif rose is a floral you would hear. Two lines broken. It also carries some soft oudh, so it is a warmer, richer attar than the brief describes. View →
SOSA MastaniMastani: jasmine and rose heart, vanilla and tonka base
Fails vanilla outright and the florals as well. Its published base has no white musk in it, so it is not a musk answer in the first place. Fully out. View →
SOSA NawaabNawaab: oud, tobacco, amber and leather, white musk base
Publishes no floral heart and no vanilla, but carries amber in the base, so it fails the third line. It is also oud-led and the deepest of the four, which is the opposite of a quiet modern musk. View →

If you want the full account of why this range has no musk product to point you at, the page on whether a clean, sophisticated white musk attar exists owns it. If your real question is the pairing, white musk with sandalwood or with citrus, for something less powdery goes through both routes. For readers who would wear this to work, a clean unisex musk for the office and the characteristics to rank does the ranking, and the five-dial page that lands on a musk direction that exists is where to go if powder, soap and budget are also on your list. And if you would rather have a plain answer about the flowers, tell us which flowers you mean by strong and we will reply.

SOSA Ameeri
The one to try only if you drop the amber exclusion: Ameeri at ₹385 adds Taif rose, Indian sandalwood, soft oudh and amber to a white musk base. Richer, warmer and floral in the rose, so it breaks two of your lines. A genuine attar, and the wrong one for this brief.
Adaa as it is, or drop one exclusion
The fork is whether the white-flower heart is acceptable. If it is, Adaa is the bottle. If it is not, and amber is the exclusion you can drop, Ameeri is the honest next attar to hear against it.
See the SOSA AdaaSee the SOSA Ameeri
A modern musk earns the word luxurious from structure, not sugar; take out vanilla and amber and what is left is a clean top, a dry floor and a heart you should test rather than assume.

The SOSA specification for a quiet, modern musk

Two rows. Adaa is the answer, with its floral caveat spelled out. The perfume oil Khayaal is listed only so the transparent option is not hidden, and it carries a caveat of its own, which the note underneath states.

The SOSA specification for a musk without vanilla, amber or strong florals
Adaa first, with its heart named; Khayaal only if amber is about sweetness
Attar Best for Why it works Price
SOSA Adaa No vanilla, no amber; white flowers in the heart ₹379 for 3ml. Bergamot, green cardamom and neroli over jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang, on white musk, vetiver and cedarwood. No oudh at all ₹379
View →
SOSA Khayaal Transparent, if your amber line is about sweetness ₹599 for 10ml. Sparkling bergamot, neroli, black tea and amberwood. A perfume oil, not an attar, with neroli as a floral and amberwood in the base ₹599
View →
Both rows start small: the 3ml of Adaa at ₹379, or the 10ml of Khayaal at ₹599. Larger sizes are for after a full season: ₹379 for 3ml, ₹669 for 6ml, ₹1,149 for 12ml for Adaa and ₹599 for 10ml, ₹1,899 for 50ml, ₹3,599 for 100ml for Khayaal. Khayaal is here with a caveat, not a recommendation: neroli is a white floral, and amberwood is a woody note that is usually not the resinous amber accord but may read as close to it, so if the word amber is itself your trigger, skip it. Neither is a musk product, because SOSA makes no white musk attar and no musk soliflore; white musk is a base note in Adaa, Ameeri and Nawaab. SOSA states 6–8 hours on skin for the attars and nothing further. A patch test on first use is the only skin advice we give. Nobody can promise you how a fragrance will read to anyone else, and I will not try. Ours is a contact page and a person who replies: Ask for an attar recommendation and tell us what you mean by strong.

A note from Sonal

When a customer sends me three exclusions, I treat it as a gift, because the answer is in the pyramids and I do not have to guess. Strong florals, vanilla and amber is a tidy list. I went through the four attars with a pencil and crossed them out one by one, and what surprised me was how little the exclusions had to do with the word musk, which is the word the customer used.

The honest part is that I do not make a musk. White musk is the floor under three of my four attars and the headline of none, so when someone writes asking for a modern musk I am being asked for a product I would have to invent. I will not. What I make that fits is Adaa, and it fits with a caveat: its heart is white flowers, and if those are what you meant by strong, I would rather you heard it from me than discovered it at hour one on your own wrist.

So the advice is deliberately small. One 3ml, one dab on the chest, written notes at hours one and three. If a flower is still the first thing you notice at hour three, the brief and the bottle do not match, and you have spent the price of a 3ml learning that. If the base is what you meant by luxurious, you will know. I cannot promise you what anyone else makes of it, so the judgement is yours. A portion of every purchase supports Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a white musk attar that avoids vanilla and amber?
No, because SOSA makes no white musk attar and no musk soliflore of any kind. White musk is a base note in Adaa, Ameeri and Nawaab. Of those three, only SOSA Adaa has neither vanilla nor amber, so it is the nearest thing to the request, and it is a pyramid with musk in its floor, not a musk.
Does Adaa count as having strong florals?
It has three white flowers in the heart: jasmine sambac, magnolia and ylang ylang. Whether that is strong depends on whether you mean dominant or merely present. They sit between a bergamot opening and a dry base, so they are a middle stage. Wear a 3ml for three ordinary days and judge at hour three.
Why is Mastani out if it has no amber?
Because its base carries Madagascar vanilla and tonka, and vanilla is one of your three exclusions. Its heart is night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose, which breaks the florals line as well, and its published base has no white musk in it. It is a deep floral-gourmand, and a good one for another brief.
Is Nawaab a quiet musk since it has no florals?
No. It publishes no floral heart, but it carries amber and leather in the base beneath white royal oud, Mysore sandalwood, Kashmir saffron and aged tobacco leaf. It is the deepest and most oud-led of the four, and amber removes it from your list in any case.
What if Adaa's flowers turn out to be too much?
Then you have learned that for ₹379 and not for ₹1,149, which is what the 3ml is for. Tell us what you smelled at hour one and hour three. We will say whether SOSA Khayaal is worth trying, with its caveats, or whether the range simply does not hold what you described.
SOSA Mastani
The one to leave out of this search entirely: Mastani at ₹389 has night-blooming jasmine and Damask rose over Mysore sandalwood, oudh, Madagascar vanilla and tonka. It breaks the florals line and the vanilla line, and it has no white musk to offer.
