Here is the floor, stated first so nothing else on this page has to be vague about it: the least expensive SOSA car fragrance is Jasmine at ₹449, and nothing in the car range sits below that. If your budget is ₹500 or so, you can reach most of the hanging band, which runs ₹449 to ₹509. If it is ₹300, you cannot reach the car range at all, and the honest answer is a different category rather than a smaller car product. What ₹449 buys is not a large gift and there is no point in describing it as one. What it buys is something attached to the specific thing that just happened, in the one space your friend is now in every day.
The floor of the SOSA car range, and usefully also the most conventionally pleasant scent in it. SOSA Jasmine hanging car perfume, ₹449 for 12ml - sold as the mild hanging or the stronger spray at exactly the same ₹449. Nothing in the car range is priced below this, so ₹449 is the number a small budget has to clear.
Quick answers — read this first
What is the cheapest car gift SOSA sells?Jasmine at ₹449, as a 12ml hanging or as a spray of the same scent at the same ₹449. The hanging band runs ₹449 to ₹509 across eight scents, so a budget of about ₹500 reaches almost all of it. Nothing in the car range is priced below ₹449.
What if my budget is under Rs 449? Then no car product fits, and it is better to say so than to pretend. Below that figure the SOSA range moves out of the car entirely: attars start at ₹379 for 3ml of Adaa. That is a good small gift and it is worth being clear that it is a different gift - it is worn rather than driven, and it has nothing to do with the car.
Is a Rs 449 gift too small for a new car? It is a small gift and it should not be presented as anything else. Its argument is not size, it is fit: a car is a few cubic metres of sealed air that your friend sits in every day, so something scented in there is noticed on the first drive. A large unrelated gift and a small related one are answering different questions, and only one of them costs ₹449.
The short answer
Short answer: The least expensive SOSA car fragrance is Jasmine at Rs 449, as a hanging or a spray at the same price, and the hanging band runs Rs 449 to Rs 509. Nothing in the car range is below Rs 449. Under that figure the options leave the car entirely, with attars starting at Rs 379.
The pick: A Jasmine hanging at ₹449, which is the floor of the car range, or Icy Mint at ₹489 if you have a little more. Both are also sold as sprays at exactly the same price.
Why: It is the cheapest thing SOSA makes that is genuinely about the car, it goes into the one space your friend is now in every day, and it does not pretend to be a larger gift than it is.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
What can you give a friend who just bought a new car when your budget is small?
Be specific about the number first, because vagueness is what turns a small-budget gift into a disappointing one. The floor of the SOSA car range is ₹449, which is Jasmine as a 12ml hanging or as a spray of the same scent at the same price. Above that: Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Below ₹449 there is nothing in the car range, and a page that suggests otherwise is wasting your time. What you get for ₹449 is a 12ml bottle. It is not a milestone-sized object, it will not be the thing anybody remembers about the week, and dressing it up is the fastest way to make it land badly - there is no gift wrap, no custom box and no message card in a SOSA order anyway, so it arrives as the retail product and whatever you want to say, you say yourself. Its actual argument is narrow and real: a car is a few cubic metres of sealed air that your friend now sits in every day, so a scent in there registers on the first drive rather than the fifth, and a small thing that belongs to the specific occasion beats a larger thing that has nothing to do with it. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A small gift becomes awkward when it is presented as a big one. ₹449 buys a 12ml bottle - given plainly, that is a good gift; given with a speech, it is not.
The floor, stated plainly: Jasmine at ₹449 as a mild hanging or a spray at the same price, with the rest of the hanging band running to ₹509. Nothing in the car range sits below it.
What a small budget actually reaches in a car, and what it does not
Small-budget gifting goes wrong in two directions: spending slightly more than you meant to in order to make something look adequate, or buying something cheap that has nothing to do with the occasion. Three decisions keep you out of both.
1
The first decision
Know the floor before you start looking
The SOSA car range has a hard bottom and it is worth having it in front of you. ₹449 is Jasmine, 12ml, as a mild hanging or as a spray of the same scent at the same price. Then Sandalwood and Lavender at ₹479, Icy Mint at ₹489, Lemon at ₹499 and the three at ₹509. The spray-only Mysore Orange Blossom is ₹549.
So a budget of about ₹500 reaches nearly the whole hanging range and gives you a real choice of scent. A budget of ₹450 reaches exactly one product. A budget below ₹449 reaches nothing in the car range, and the useful thing a page can do at that point is say so rather than steer you towards something that technically ships.
Under that figure the options move out of the car altogether. SOSA attars start at ₹379 for 3ml of Adaa, with Ameeri ₹385, Mastani ₹389 and Nawaab ₹399. Those are genuinely good small gifts, and they are a different gift: an attar is worn rather than driven and has nothing to do with the car that just arrived.
Tip: Below ₹449 you are no longer buying a car gift. Decide which of the two matters more.
2
The second decision
Fit beats size, and only one of them is free
The instinct when the budget is small is to look for the largest object the money will buy. That usually produces something generic, because generic is what is cheap at any given price. The alternative is to spend the same money on something narrow that belongs to the specific thing that happened.
The argument for a car fragrance here is mechanical rather than sentimental. A car is a few cubic metres of sealed air that sits in the sun, which is why anything scented inside it registers on the first drive and registers more in May than in December. Your friend is in that space most days now, which is not true of the mug, the plant or the desk object the same money would buy.
What this does not do is make ₹449 into more than ₹449, and that matters for how you hand it over. A small gift given plainly is a small gift. A small gift given with ceremony invites a comparison it cannot win. There is no gift wrap, no printed sleeve, no custom box and no message card in a SOSA order, which removes the temptation to stage it, and leaves whatever you want to say where it belongs, which is with you.
3
The third decision
If ₹449 feels thin, what the next rungs actually cost
There is a gap between ₹449 and the next thing that reads as a present, and it is worth knowing the exact rungs rather than drifting upwards. A second single bottle takes you to ₹898 to ₹1,018 for two scents bought separately, which is almost always the wrong move in one car. A two-scent combo is the same idea done properly: Jasmine & Lemon and Jasmine & Lavender at ₹899, Oud + Lemon and Sandalwood & Oud at ₹949.
The Car Perfume Sprays Discovery Set of three is ₹699 to ₹899 - ₹699 for Lemon, Jasmine and Lavender and ₹899 for Orange Blossom, Oud and Vetiver - and is the best value on this page if what you want is for the gift to feel like a set rather than a bottle.
One thing that is not a gift and is worth ruling out: the 15ml refill at ₹399 to ₹449 is cheaper than the unit and larger than the 12ml bottle it refills, which makes it excellent value and a poor present for somebody who does not already own the hanging it fits. Buy it for a friend who runs one already, not as the cheap way into this category.
Tip: Three sprays at ₹699 is the next honest step up, not two single bottles.
The decision this whole category turns on
Hanging or spray is a scent-throw choice, not a budget choice
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two formats at the same price: the hanging is the mild scent-throw, the spray is the stronger one. Jasmine is ₹449 either way, Lemon ₹499 either way, Oud ₹509 either way. So the question is never which one you can afford - it is who controls the dose. Hand a car to somebody whose taste you have never asked about and the mild hanging is the safer object, because a person who finds a sealed car too loud cannot turn a scent down, only take it out.
Write down your number. The car range starts at Rs 449 and ends at Rs 549.
Under Rs 449 nothing in the car range fits. Attars start at Rs 379 instead.
At about Rs 500 you have a real choice of scent across the hanging band.
Give it plainly. No wrap or message card goes in the parcel to dress it up.
The SOSA principle
A small gift is only awkward when it is asked to do the job of a large one. Given plainly, and attached to the exact thing that just happened, Rs 449 is not apologetic - it is simply accurate.
What it cannot do is pretend. There is no wrap, no box and no card in the parcel, which is a limitation and also a kind of protection: nothing about the presentation will oversell what is inside it.
Which scent at the bottom of the range, and what sits below it
At the bottom of the range the scent choice is narrow in a useful way. Jasmine at ₹449 is the floor and also the most conventionally pleasant thing in the range, which is a fortunate combination when the budget picks the product for you. Sandalwood and Lavender at ₹479 read as considered rather than functional and are the first step up. Icy Mint at ₹489 is the sharpest and the one most often described as clean rather than scented, which makes it the safest choice for a friend whose taste in scent you have never actually discussed. Lemon at ₹499 is the workhorse citrus. Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at ₹509 are the top of the hanging band and carry the most character, which makes them the least sensible pick when you are also guessing at taste. Remember that the mild hanging and the stronger spray of every one of these cost the same, so the extra rupees never buy more scent - they buy a different scent.
The SOSA gift edit
Four small-budget options for a new car, with the real numbers
The floor of the car range and the most conventionally pleasant scent in it. Hangs from the mirror, needs nothing done to it, and is also sold as a spray at the same ₹449. It fails if you needed the gift to look substantial when handed over, because a 12ml bottle does not.
Icy Mint or Lemon · ₹489 to ₹499
Fifty rupees more and a better answer when you have never discussed scent with this friend, because both are more often described as clean than as scented. They fail in the same way the Jasmine does on size, and they do not fail differently on anything else.
The next honest step up rather than buying two single bottles. ₹699 for Lemon, Jasmine and Lavender; ₹899 for Orange Blossom, Oud and Vetiver. It fails your brief if your budget was genuinely small, since it is more than half as much again as the ₹449.
The only SOSA option below the car floor: Adaa ₹379, Ameeri ₹385, Mastani ₹389 and Nawaab ₹399 in 3ml, alcohol-free and worn on skin. It fails the brief in the way that matters here - it has nothing to do with the car - and it is a taste decision about a person rather than a space.
What happens after the gift
The 15ml refill is bigger than the 12ml bottle and costs less than a new unit
Refills run ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud - against ₹449 to ₹509 for the unit itself. This matters for one honest reason and not the flattering one: a gift that can be continued without being sold to is a different object from a gift that simply runs out. Whether anybody continues it is up to them, and no supplier can promise you they will.
Two limits to know before you decide, because both change what the gift is. No duration is published for the hanging format, so nobody can tell you how many weeks ₹449 buys, and any page that does is inventing it. The only SOSA car product with published figures is the Mysore Orange Blossom spray at ₹549: approximately 100 sprays lasting approximately 3 months in 10ml, and approximately 500 sprays lasting approximately a year or more in the ₹1,499 50ml. Those belong to that spray and to nothing else. And the only presentation service SOSA offers is a custom label or logo on product, which is a business thing - there is no gift wrap, no printed sleeve, no custom box and no message card, so a ₹449 gift arrives looking like a ₹449 gift. Given the budget, that is arguably the right outcome. If you want a second opinion on which scent for one particular friend, message SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The lowest-priced hanging in the range at ₹449, and the reason most per-car budgets get built around this number. Available as the mild hanging or the stronger spray at the same ₹449.
Eight scents from ₹399. The refill is 15ml against the 12ml bottle it refills, and costs less than buying the unit again - so the person who was given one can carry on without being sold to.
Three sprays from ₹699, or all nine at ₹2,999. The honest answer when the recipient's taste is genuinely unknown: let them find out rather than guessing on their behalf.
from ₹699
When one particular car is not part of the programme
SOSA Safar ₹3,999 for a car, SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 for the building it is parked at
Safar is the waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold-diffusion perfume diffuser for a car or a travel bag - ₹3,999 for the SOSA-scent trios and ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios. It is not a volume gift and should not be described as one; it is what a business reaches for when a single handover genuinely warrants it. Vaayu is the same waterless idea sized for a building: cold-air nebulising of undiluted oil, rated for approximately 1000 m3 of connected air, with a Bluetooth app and timer, a 400ml tank, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, DC 12V / 1A 5W mains power and CE, RoHS and SGS marks - which makes it a showroom or workshop question rather than a gifting one. Both run waterless nebuliser oil at ₹1,049 for 100 gm and ₹1,849 for 300 gm, and neither takes the ₹299 water-based Hotel Collection bottle. No runtime, battery life or coverage figure is published for Safar. Both add a scent to a space; neither removes one.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
The mistake with a small gift is never the amount. It is the gap between what was spent and what the presentation is claiming. Close that gap and ₹449 is a perfectly good thing to hand somebody.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Every price above is the published retail price on the live SOSA product page, which is what any business should build its own arithmetic on. SOSA does not publish a bulk rate, a minimum order quantity, a slab, a dispatch window or any commercial term, and nothing on this page should be read as one. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; quantities and everything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than priced on a page. The honest price sheet
What SOSA publishes, and what SOSA does not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
The same scents as sprays, at the same price. Hanging is the mild scent-throw, spray is the stronger one, and they cost the same - so the choice is about who controls the dose, not about money. Mysore Orange Blossom ₹549 is a spray only and has no hanging format.
Combos and sets - two-scent combos ₹899 to ₹949, the Discovery Set of three sprays ₹699 to ₹899, all nine sprays ₹2,999, and 50ml sprays ₹1,499. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios.
Duration - the only car product publishing a figure is Mysore Orange Blossom: 10ml is about 100 sprays lasting about 3 months, 50ml is about 500 sprays lasting about a year or more. Those numbers belong to that spray and to nothing else. No duration is published for the hanging format.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum order quantity, slab or volume discount; any dispatch, delivery or cut-off timing; any payment, invoicing or credit term; case packs, carton sizes or unit weights; any claim that a gift will change a customer's behaviour, a survey score or a repeat rate; and any claim that a fragrance removes, neutralises or purifies anything. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Buying for a business rather than for one person? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: roughly how many vehicles or people a month, whether the recipient chooses the scent or you do, whether you want the mild hanging or the stronger spray, and whether the label needs to carry your logo. You will get one straight answer rather than a catalogue. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, any minimum order quantity, any slab or volume discount, any dispatch or delivery timing, and any payment or invoicing term. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the whole of the branding offer, and there is no custom box, printed sleeve, insert card, gift wrap or hamper. There is no dealer, partner or reseller programme; everything commercial is a conversation on WhatsApp. Bespoke composition, a fragrance composed for you by Sonal, is a real SOSA service and is also discussed there. Where SOSA is: SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. There is no SOSA shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city, so anything here about Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru or anywhere else is about the businesses and the cars in those cities and not about a local branch.

A note from Sonal
The businesses that write to SOSA about car fragrance almost never open with a question about fragrance. They open with a question about a drawer. Somebody ordered five hundred of something last year, and most of it is still sitting in a drawer at the back of the showroom, and nobody wants to repeat that.
What makes a car product different from the keychain and the diary is not that it is nicer. It is that there is nowhere to put it away. A hanging perfume is hanging. It is not in a bag to be taken home and forgotten; it is in the one enclosed space the person is going to sit in tomorrow morning. That is an argument about geometry rather than about generosity, and it is the only argument for this category I am willing to make.
The thing I would push back on hardest is the instinct to buy the strongest one. When you are choosing on somebody else's behalf, and you will never meet most of them, the mild hanging is the correct choice and it costs exactly the same as the spray. A person who finds a scent too loud in a sealed car cannot turn it down; they can only take it out. Quiet is what lets a gift survive contact with a stranger's taste.
And the part I will not pretend about: I cannot tell you this will bring anyone back. No fragrance house can honestly tell a business what a gift will do to its numbers. What I can tell you is what the product is, what it costs, and what happens when somebody likes it enough to buy the refill themselves - which is the only loyalty any of us actually earns.
Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest SOSA car perfume?
Jasmine at Rs 449 for a 12ml hanging, which is also sold as a spray of the same scent at the same Rs 449. The rest of the hanging band is Sandalwood and Lavender Rs 479, Icy Mint Rs 489, Lemon Rs 499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver Rs 509. The spray-only Mysore Orange Blossom is Rs 549. Nothing in the car range is priced below Rs 449.
What can I give a friend with a new car if my budget is under Rs 449?
Nothing in the SOSA car range fits below that figure, and it is better to know that than to be steered around it. Below Rs 449 the range leaves the car: attars are Rs 379 for Adaa, Rs 385 for Ameeri, Rs 389 for Mastani and Rs 399 for Nawaab in 3ml. Those are good small gifts and they are a different gift, since an attar is worn rather than driven.
Is a Rs 449 car perfume too small a gift for a new car?
It is a small gift and there is no advantage in presenting it as more. Its argument is fit rather than size: a car is a few cubic metres of sealed air that your friend now sits in every day, so a scent in there is noticed on the first drive. A larger unrelated object and a smaller related one answer different questions.
What is the next step up from a single bottle?
The Car Perfume Sprays Discovery Set of three at Rs 699 to Rs 899, rather than two single bottles. Rs 699 buys Lemon, Jasmine and Lavender and Rs 899 buys Orange Blossom, Oud and Vetiver. Two-scent combos are Rs 899 for Jasmine with Lemon or Lavender and Rs 949 for Oud with Lemon or Sandalwood with Oud, as hangings or sprays at the same price.
Will the gift arrive wrapped or with a note?
No. There is no gift wrap, no printed sleeve, no custom box and no message card in a SOSA order, and the only presentation service that exists is a custom label or logo on product, which is aimed at businesses. The parcel arrives as the retail product, so anything you want said has to come from you. For anything else, message SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Take the next step
Rs 449 is the floor. Decide above it or step out of the car range
Jasmine at ₹449 is the least expensive car fragrance SOSA makes, and about ₹500 gives you a real choice across the ₹449 to ₹509 hanging band. Below ₹449 nothing in the car range fits, and attars from ₹379 are the honest alternative, with the caveat that they are worn rather than driven.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

No claim is made anywhere on this page about what a gift will do to a business result - not to a satisfaction or survey score, not to repeat business, referrals, reviews, retention or recall. Those outcomes depend on the business and not on a fragrance, and no fragrance house can honestly promise them. No claim is made about how any recipient will feel. No duration is published or implied for the hanging format. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
Imagine if Stars Hollow had its very own candle shop—filled with scents as inviting as Luke's coffee, as warm as a hug from Sookie, and as delightful as one of Lorelai's movie marathons. Welcome to Sosa home and body's very own newsletter!
